Technical Field
The present invention relates to a frame for drawers according to the preamble of claim 1.
Background
A generic frame is known from DE 10 2010 060 722 A1. The drawer frame disclosed herein has a connection fitting as a functional device, which is mounted on or formed on a frame adapter of the drawer frame with a mounting base.
Disclosure of Invention
In comparison with this prior art, the object of the invention is to provide a frame on which a mounting base, in particular a mounting base for a functional device of the mounting frame, is easier to mount.
The present invention solves this problem by the subject matter of claim 1 and also provides a drawer for furniture having one or more frames according to one of the claims associated therewith. Advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the dependent claims.
According to claim 1, a frame for a drawer is provided, which frame comprises an outer shell and an inner shell, which define a cavity into which at least one mounting base is inserted, characterized in that the mounting base is held on the outer shell or the inner shell by means of at least one mounting adapter, wherein the mounting adapter has at least one mounting opening into which at least one projection, in particular a web of the mounting base, engages. In this way, the mounting base is simply and securely held to the frame. For mounting, only the projections, in particular the webs, have to be inserted into the corresponding mounting openings of the mounting adapter.
According to a variant, it may be provided that the outer housing is displaceably guided relative to the inner housing, and that the one or more mounting adapters are distributed in the region of the upper slide guide on the outer housing or the inner housing and form part of the upper slide guide. In this way, the mounting adapter is advantageously used a plurality of times to achieve a sliding guide and to mount the mounting base.
For this purpose, it is simple and practical in construction if one or more mounting adapters are arranged in the upper or lower mounting channel of the frame.
In order to provide a structurally simple and easy-to-install variant of the invention, it can be provided that at least one mounting adapter rests by means of the adapter body on a cover web with at least one window and that a projection is formed on the adapter body of the mounting adapter, the projection passing through the window and into which the web mounting opening, in particular of the mounting base, into which the projection is engaged, extends.
In order to easily attach the individual mounting adapters to the cover web, it may advantageously be provided that the projections of the mounting adapters are engaged by latching and/or clamping through the window.
According to a further advantageous variant, which results in a particularly stable fixing of the mounting base, it is proposed that the web of the mounting base passes through the window in the mounting opening of the projection of the mounting adapter.
According to a further variant, it may be provided that a plurality of projections, in particular webs, are formed on the mounting base and engage in a corresponding plurality of mounting openings of the one or more mounting adapters. In this way, each mounting base is advantageously fixed to the frame a plurality of times.
It can be provided that the mounting base is fastened in a clamping and/or latching manner in the mounting opening of the mounting adapter by means of one or more projections, in particular webs.
The at least one mounting base can advantageously be designed and used for mounting functional devices, in particular capture devices. Several functional means may also be provided on one mounting base. Furthermore, a plurality of mounting base elements can also be secured in a cavity of the frame in a protected manner.
Preferably, the respective mounting base element is fixed in the cavity of the frame at the upper edge of the mounting base in a claimed manner. Alternatively or additionally, the individual mounting base elements may also be fixed in the cavity of the frame at the lower edge of the mounting base in the claimed manner.
According to the invention, the frame may also be realized in that the inner shell and/or the outer shell are made of sheet metal, preferably steel, and that the inner shell and/or the outer shell together form a body with a substantially rectangular cross section.

Detailed Description
The frame 1 shown in fig. 1 a) and b) has a multi-shell structure, in this case a double-shell structure, with an inner shell 10 and an outer shell 11, which define a cavity 12 which can be formed open at its ends, i.e. oriented towards the rear wall and the panel in the mounted state. Hereinafter, terms such as "top" and "bottom" refer to a general arrangement of the frames in the drawer, wherein the sliding guides of the drawer and their bottoms are aligned substantially horizontally and the frames 1 are aligned substantially vertically. However, this is not a limitation, but only a preferred orientation that may be achieved within the scope of the invention.
The terms inner shell 10 and outer shell 11 do not mean that they must be constructed in one piece. Instead, the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11 may be composed of several elements, which together form the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11.
Preferably, but not necessarily, the outer shell 11 and the inner shell 10 are made of sheet metal, in particular steel. However, they may also be made of other materials. Preferably, the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11 are each made of one or more sheet materials, in particular steel sheets, which have been bent into sections for forming and on which recesses or the like can be formed by punching, cutting or the like.
It is further preferred that the outer shell 11 and the inner shell 10 of the frame 1 are formed with a relatively small, i.e. "narrow", constructional width B, which is preferably less than 20mm, in particular less than 15mm. . The invention is particularly advantageously applied to such a narrow frame 1.
It is necessary to arrange at least one or more functional devices in the cavity 12 in as simple a manner as possible and to fix them directly or indirectly to the frame. These functional means may comprise, for example, one or more connection fittings for securing the front or rear panel, and may also comprise other elements.
For this purpose, the functional device has a mounting base 26. The mounting base 26 may also be designed as a base plate. However, it can also be formed in other ways.
The mounting base 26 should be connected to the inner housing 11 or the outer housing 10 in a simple construction. Where it is connected to the inner shell 10 by one or more mounting adapters 22. This is preferred, but not mandatory. The mounting base 20 may also be connected to the housing 11. Thus, the following description of the preferred embodiment examples thus also uses the terms inner and outer shells conversely, with respect to the attachment of the mounting adapter 22 at the upper edge. In order to achieve access to the functional elements located wholly or partly in the interspace/cavity 12 between the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11, the inner shell 10 is advantageously movable, preferably with a limited displacement, with respect to the outer shell 11. However, this is not a mandatory feature in the context of the invention.
At the lower edge, the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11, and optionally the mounting base 26, may also be connected as desired within the scope of the invention, for example by means of sliding guides and/or associated locking elements.
According to a preferred design, the housing 11 is of unitary design. However, it can also be designed as a multiple piece body. The housing 11 also has an outer wall portion 13 which substantially or completely forms the visible outer wall of the frame 1.
Preferably, the upper edge 14 of the outer wall portion 13 is also bent over a total of approximately 180 ° towards the inner shell 10, so that a channel-like upper groove 15 is formed, which in the assembled state opens downwards.
The inner shell 10 may be made in one or more pieces. Having an inner wall portion 16. The inner wall portion 16 may be aligned parallel to the outer wall portion 13 over a substantial portion of its surface or at a slight angle. For this purpose, the upper edge 18 of the inner wall portion 17 is bent downward once by 180 ° and then extends downward over a region 19, for example of a few millimeters, and from there is bent outward at right angles in the direction of the housing 11, so that it forms a cover web 20 there.
The cover web 20 and the upper edges of the inner shell 10 and the outer shell 11 form a U-shaped upper receiving channel K1.
Preferably, one or more windows 21 are formed in the cover web 20. These windows 21 may be formed in various ways. According to a preferred variant, they can be formed in the manner of slots passing through the upper receiving channel K1 from top to bottom.
One or more mounting adapters 22 are inserted into the upper receiving channel K1. Preferably, these mounting adapters have an upper adapter body 23, on the bottom of which upper adapter body 23 a projection 24 adjoins, which projection 24 is designed to penetrate preferably one of the windows 21 in order to fasten, optionally and/or forcibly (in particular by latching), to the receiving channel K1 in the region of the window 21. The adapter body 22 is preferably lying on the cover web 20. The cross section of the adapter body can also be matched to the receiving slot K1 such that it is located substantially without play, optionally even in a clamping manner, in the receiving slot K1.
The one or more mounting adapters 22 preferably each have at least one or more mounting openings (25). The respective mounting opening 25 extends into the mounting adapter 22 from bottom to top in the mounted position. The corresponding mounting opening 25 may for example penetrate the projection 24 vertically from below and extend into the adapter body 22. The corresponding mounting opening 25 may be designed as a slot or, for example, as a blind hole or the like.
In the installed position, the respective installation opening 25 serves to accommodate an upper edge region of at least one installation base 26, in particular a web 27 or the like. The mounting base 26 may be used as a base for mounting accessories and the like. The mounting base may be designed as a plate with one or more webs 27. The web 27 or webs 27 engage in a mounting opening 25 of a mounting adapter 22 or in mounting openings 25 of mounting adapters 22, preferably in a clamping and/or latching manner and preferably without play in the mounting position.
In this way, the upper edge of the mounting base 26 is easily aligned in the cavity 12 and well and accurately held in place, e.g., centered in the middle. Thus, the mounting base 26 can be quickly and easily mounted in this area.
The mounting base 26 may be fixed or at least held in a similar manner in its lower portion or in any other manner. For example, it may have a hierarchy 28 and rest on a corresponding hierarchy 28' of the inner shell 10 belonging to the receiving channel 17. Then, in the assembled state, the mounting base will be placed there and additionally clamped between the inner shell 10 and the outer shell. It may also be attached to one of the housings 10, 11. Thus, the mounting base 26 may remain on the inner shell 10 (or outer shell 11) in its lower or intermediate region in almost any manner.
The upper (and further) mounting adapter 22 may additionally form a sliding and guiding element, wherein the mounting adapter may have at least one groove 29 open at the top, into which groove the curved upper edge 19 of the housing 11 may engage to form an upper sliding guide with the groove 29.
The mounting adapter 22 may also serve as a fixed base for a cover strip 30 (trim strip or functional strip) to cover the upper mounting channel and/or to accommodate other functional elements, such as mounting brackets, etc., particularly for mounting a drawer front or the like. For this purpose, the mounting adapter may have further fastening means, for example a recess 32 extending into the adapter body 23 from above, into which recess 32 the web 31 of the cover strip 30 is inserted.

Claims (14)

1.
