A clothes dryer power consumption monitoring method comprises a drying program for executing clothes dryer drying work, a background server in communication connection with the clothes dryer, and an intelligent terminal in communication connection with the background server, wherein a heating pipe, a motor and a clothes dryer power consumption module are arranged in the clothes dryer; and the background server receives the power consumption and sends the power consumption to the corresponding intelligent terminal, and the user sees the power consumption of the clothes dryer on the intelligent terminal. The invention can obtain the power consumption condition of the clothes dryer without adding corresponding hardware equipment and related circuits by applying the method, is convenient and has high product cost performance.
