防霉剂系指为防止霉菌滋生的一种添加剂。食品、水果、饲料、化妆品、涂料、粘合剂、皮革、水产品、塑料等在使用及存放期间,易遭霉菌污染,使成品变质。为了防止霉菌滋生,需在产品中加入防霉剂。
