Abstract
The invention discloses a chromatographic column maintenance device which comprises a supporting device, a supporting plate, an upper connecting plate, a lifting device, a column casing connecting plate, a stand column bracket, a bottom connecting plate, a cross beam and trundles. The device is provided with a lifting device which can separate the column casing from the piston and the base, and after separation, the column casing is rotated out to carry out maintenance and cleaning work inside the chromatographic column. The whole structure is light and simple, easy to operate, safe to use, easy to disassemble and store and small in space limitation. And the whole structure is made of stainless steel, so that the risk of maintenance and pollution of the chromatographic column is greatly reduced. The design of the rotary column casing does not influence the maintenance space, and simultaneously greatly reduces the difficulty of resetting and installing the chromatographic column after the maintenance is finished.

Background
The chromatographic technique can separate heat-sensitive or easily inactivated products such as protein, polysaccharide, polypeptide and the like under relatively mild conditions. The chromatographic column is the key to realize chromatographic separation. However, if the diameter of the column is too large, the maintenance or cleaning of the internal components (e.g., valves, seals, screens, distributors, etc.) of the column must be performed by using heavy lifting equipment such as a crane or a hoist to suspend the upper end components (e.g., a top plate, a piston, etc.) from the column casing, and then using heavy overhead lifting equipment to disassemble the column for maintenance or cleaning purposes, which has disadvantages in both disassembly and assembly. And (3) detaching the connecting bolt of the top plate and the column casing, keeping the column casing and the top plate in a non-connecting state, continuously moving the top plate and the piston upwards for a certain distance through the lifting device 4, and stopping after the piston and the column casing are separated by a certain gap. The mounting support device 1 ensures the stability of the maintenance device. Finally, the column casing is rotated out, and maintenance or cleaning work of the chromatographic column can be carried out. After maintenance or cleaning, the column casing is rotated back to the original position, the supporting device 1 is disassembled, the lifting device 4 is controlled to lower the top plate and the piston for a certain distance, then the column casing is connected with the top plate through bolts, then the column casing connecting plate 5 is disassembled to be connected with the column casing, the top plate, the piston and the column casing continue to be simultaneously lowered until the column casing returns to the original position, and finally the column casing is connected with the base through bolts. And (3) disassembling the connecting bolt of the upper connecting plate 3 and the chromatographic column top plate, and the connecting bolt of the bottom connecting plate 7 and the chromatographic column base, and removing the maintenance device.
