When the household appliance is an air conditioner, the air conditioner usually employs a universal asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (URAT). And the actual operating parameters of the air conditioner may include: indoor temperature, operation mode, wind speed, etc.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the present invention, the first 485 communication module 12 may periodically obtain actual operating parameters of the home appliance. The embodiment of the present invention is described herein by taking an example of obtaining actual operating parameters of a primary household appliance.

If the monitoring equipment does not receive the operation parameters sent by the household appliance within the preset time period, the monitoring equipment can output prompt information to prompt relevant personnel that the household appliance has communication faults so that the relevant personnel can conveniently check and maintain.
