The vertical projection method has a good effect on character segmentation in the vehicle image in a complex environment.
(3) License plate character recognition
The license plate character recognition is mainly based on a template matching algorithm and an artificial neural network algorithm. Based on a template matching algorithm, firstly, the segmented characters are binarized and the size of the segmented characters is scaled to be the size of a template in a character database, then the segmented characters are matched with all the templates, and the best matching is selected as a result. There are two types of algorithms based on artificial neural networks: one is to extract the character and then train the neural network distributor with the obtained character; the other method is to directly input the image into the network, and the network automatically realizes the feature extraction until the result is identified.

The fee payment module 30 is used for receiving a fee payment request triggered by a user scanning a first preset two-dimensional code through an intelligent terminal, and sending the parking fee information to the intelligent terminal according to the fee payment request for payment of the user;
in this embodiment, when the user drives to the exit of the parking lot, the exit barrier is not opened because the parking fee is not paid. The user needs to use the intelligent terminal to scan the first preset two-dimensional code, triggers the payment request, and can open the gateway after the payment is completed. The intelligent terminal for scanning can be a mobile phone, a tablet computer or other intelligent equipment. In this embodiment, the intelligent terminal is a mobile phone. When the parking fee information of the vehicle leaving the field is determined, the system generates a corresponding order to be paid according to the license plate number and the parking fee, sends the information to be paid to the intelligent terminal and prompts a user to pay, and the payment mode comprises a payment platform, WeChat and Unionpay. The user can select a proper mode to pay according to actual conditions.
Further, in this embodiment, the operation process of acquiring the license plate number of the vehicle leaving the parking lot by the license plate number acquisition device at the exit is performed automatically, the system calculates the parking fee automatically before the user triggers the fee payment request, and the system directly sends the parking fee information to the intelligent terminal when the user triggers the fee payment request. By adopting the charging mode, the parking fee calculation process is carried out before the user triggers the payment request, the user can directly send the parking fee information when the payment request is triggered, the user does not need to wait, the payment speed and the vehicle leaving speed are increased, and the charging efficiency is improved for the parking lot. Of course, the license plate number acquisition equipment at the exit can also carry out license plate number acquisition operation according to a payment request triggered by a user. Specifically, when a user drives a car to leave a parking lot and drives the car to an exit of the parking lot, the user uses an intelligent terminal to scan a first preset two-dimensional code at the exit and trigger a payment request; the system accesses and controls the license plate number acquisition equipment according to the payment request and the access address information of the corresponding license plate number acquisition equipment in the first preset two-dimensional code, acquires the license plate number information of the vehicle leaving the exit through the license plate number acquisition equipment, and calculates the parking cost according to the license plate number information; and when the calculation is finished, the parking fee is sent to the intelligent terminal triggering the payment request for payment of the user. In this charging manner, the charging operation can be completed, but the parking fee calculation process occurs after the user triggers the payment request, and the user needs to spend extra time waiting for the calculation result, so the charging efficiency is reduced.
Still further, the charging device further comprises a vehicle passing module for controlling the parking lot exit device to pass the departing vehicle when the user finishes payment. When the user payment is completed, the system receives the information that the user payment is completed, at the moment, the charging of the user is completed, and the system controls to open the parking lot exit barrier gate and release the departing vehicle.

Through the above manner, the user is not required to input the license plate number and bind the payment account, and the charging can be carried out: when a user drives a car to an outlet of a parking lot, the system automatically acquires a license plate number to calculate parking cost, the user can start to pay the parking cost only by scanning the two-dimensional code at the outlet through the intelligent terminal, and time is not needed to be spent on waiting for the calculation of the system; the license plate number of the vehicle can be acquired and identified in real time through the license plate number acquisition equipment corresponding to the two-dimensional code at the exit, the license plate number does not need to be manually input by a user, and particularly when the user drives different vehicles to enter and exit the parking lot, the bound license plate number does not need to be manually changed, so that the operation amount of the user is reduced, the time cost is reduced, and the system can also determine the exit position of the vehicle according to the information in the two-dimensional code; the system automatically inquires parking time and calculates parking cost in a database according to the license plate number of the vehicle without manual statistics and calculation, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of calculation; when the parking fee calculation is completed, the information to be paid is directly sent to the intelligent terminal triggering the payment request, so that the payment operation is convenient for a user, the license plate number and the payment account do not need to be bound in advance by the user, the charging can also be carried out, and the situation that the charging cannot be carried out due to the fact that the departure vehicle is not bound with the license plate number is avoided. The whole process reduces the payment operation of the user, provides convenience for paying the parking fee, simplifies the charging operation of the parking lot and improves the charging efficiency of the parking lot.
