本发明的目的是详细说明一种排气***,通过该排气***,在避免上面提到的缺点的同时,SCR的冷却是可能的。
该目的通过主要权利要求和从属权利要求的主题来实现。在从属权利要求中给出了本发明的有利改进。
根据本发明的用于内燃发动机的排气***包含排气通道,所述排气通道被设计为接收由内燃发动机产生的排气;SCR***,其被布置在所述排气通道中;节流装置,其被布置在所述SCR***上游的所述排气通道中;低压排气再循环通道,在下面也被称为LP-EGR通道,其连接被布置在所述节流装置上游的所述排气通道中的再循环提取点与被布置在进气通道中的再循环引入点;EGR阀(排气最循环阀),其被布置在所述再循环引入点处;冷却器,其被布置在所述LP-EGR通道中;旁通管路,其连接被布置在所述冷却器上游的所述LP-EGR通道中的旁通提取点与被布置在所述冷却器下游的所述LP-EGR通道中的旁通引入点;旁通阀,其被布置在所述旁通提取点处;再循环管路,其连接被布置在所述旁通管路中的再循环提取点与被布置在所述节流装置下游且在所述SCR***上游的所述排气通道中的再循环引入点;以及再循环阀,其被布置在所述再循环管路中。
排气***优选地适合于柴油发动机并且因此可以结合柴油发动机来使用,因为柴油发动机释放能够借助于SCR***被有效地转化的比较大量的氮氧化物。
所指定的流动方向与来自内燃发动机的排气朝向排气装置或在排气再循环的情况下回到内燃发动机的流动方向有关。
低压排气再循环指的是排气从被布置在涡轮增压器的排气涡轮下游并且在合适的情况下在排气后处理装置上游的排气通道中的再循环提取点被提取,并且经由排气再循环通道被引导到被布置在涡轮增压器的压缩机上游的进气通道中的再循环引入点。被布置在再循环引入点处的EGR阀用来设置再循环的排气与从外部被供应到内燃发动机的供应空气内的新鲜空气之间的混合比。当EGR阀被关闭时,没有排气再循环发生。
排气***的SCR***可以例如被布置在机动车辆的底板下区域中。更多的空间在该区域中可用于布置必要的部件。而且,冷却能够通过到周围空气的热排放并且在机动车辆的情况下通过风气流而发生。
根据本发明的排气***允许根据需要对SCR***进行冷却,因为被引入到排气通道内的排气不被直接供应到SCR***。替代地,排气或一部分排气被供应到冷却器并且被冷却。经冷却的排气然后作为再循环的排气经由再循环管路被引导回到SCR***上游的排气通道内,使得再循环的排气到达SCR***,并且降低其温度或抵抗温度上升。如果排气再循环也被需要,EGR阀可以照常被打开。
排气经由LP-EGR通道被供应到冷却器,因为节流装置被完全或部分地关闭。一旦节流装置部分关闭,仅一部分排气被供应到冷却器并且被冷却,使得在再循环引入点处,排气和再循环的排气混合并且因此实现混合温度。
然而,如果SCR***的冷却不被需要,则关闭再循环阀,并且节流装置可以被进一步打开,使得排气经由排气通道直接到达SCR***。
可选地,排气再循环在此处也可以发生,因为一部分排气被引入到LP-EGR通道内并且被返回到进气通道。取决于需求,再循环的排气可以借助于冷却器来冷却,或冷却器可以使用旁路来旁通。
排气***允许SCR***的冷却,使得充分的氮氧化物转化所需的温度范围能够被观察到,并且氮氧化物排放被减少。有利地,除了通常已经存在的排气再循环***(具有LP-EGR通道、EGR阀、冷却器、旁通管路和旁通阀)之外,仅再循环管路和再循环阀被需要,使得非常小的额外安装空间被需要,并且现有的排气再循环***能够被升级。而且,排气***是便宜的。此外,排气再循环和SCR***冷却能够有利地被同时执行。
如果SCR***的温度超过最大温度,则会需要冷却。为了建立这个,SCR***的温度可以例如借助于被布置在SCR***中或上的温度传感器或通过SCR催化剂下游的排气温度的确定来确定,SCR***的温度能够根据SCR催化剂下游的排气温度来估计。
SCR***的温度然后可以与最大温度进行比较。冷却可以或可以不被需要,这取决于最大温度是否被超过。
对于冷却的需要可以借助于控制单元来建立,所述控制单元接收SCR***的温度作为输入信号,通过比较SCR***的温度与最大温度来对输入信号进行处理,并且取决于比较的结果,向节流装置、旁通阀和再循环阀发出控制信号以便打开或关闭这些装置。
输入信号可以基于根据一个或更多个程序被编程到控制单元内的指令或代码来处理。控制单元可以通过硬件和/或软件来实施,并且被物理地配置在一个或更多个零件中。具体地,控制单元可以是发动机控制***的一部分或被整合在发动机控制***中。在典型的实施例中,机动车辆的发动机控制***充当控制单元。除了对SCR***进行冷却之外,控制单元还可以通过向EGR阀发送控制信号来控制排气再循环。
冷却会被需要的可能情况是内燃发动机在高负荷或全负荷下的运转(其导致高排气温度)或被布置在SCR***上游的微粒过滤器的再生(由此高排气温度被需要)。
此外,借助于再循环阀,排气背压可以被设置,并且因此期望的EGR速率可以被提供。为此,再循环阀可以优选地被配置为具有多个两个设置的阀或被配置为连续可调阀。
根据各种实施例和变体,一个或更多个进一步的排气后处理装置可以被布置在再循环提取点上游和/或SCR***下游的排气通道中。这些排气后处理装置可以例如是氧化催化剂(例如柴油氧化催化剂)、LNT催化剂和/或微粒过滤器(例如柴油微粒过滤器或提供有SCR涂层的微粒过滤器)。
通过进一步的排气后处理装置的布置,可以从排气去除更多污染物。而且,可以观察到排气后处理的不同状况(例如不同的排气温度)。
根据进一步的实施例变体,排气***可以包含被布置在再循环管路中的传热器。传热器用来将热从排气传输到冷却介质,例如空气、机油、冷却液。传热器可以被集成在现有的冷却***(例如发动机冷却***)中。
借助于传热器,在再循环管路中流动的排气的额外冷却可以被实现,使得SCR***能够被更极大地冷却。而且,即使借助于冷却器的再循环的排气的冷却不被期望并且再循环的排气流过旁通管路,传热器也可以允许SCR***的冷却。
传热器可以在其表面上具有冷却肋,以便增加与冷却液(例如周围空气)的接触面积,并且能够传输更多热。
传热器可以例如被配置为排气/空气传热器,以便将热从排气传输到周围空气,并且由此对排气进行冷却。优选地,传热器可以被布置为使得周围空气在传热器上面流动。为此,传热器可以被布置在机动车辆的底板下区域中,使得风气流能够在它周围流动。
通过将传热器形成为排气/空气传热器,有利地,现有的冷却***的进一步负荷被避免,使得例如当使内燃发动机在高负荷下运转时的发动机冷却***的过负荷能够被避免。
根据进一步的实施例变体,排气***可以包含被布置在再循环管路中的热电装置。
热电装置用于将热转换成电能,使得热能够从排气被提取,并且排气因此可以在流过热电装置时被冷却。
热电装置可以被配置为能够使用塞贝克效应从温度差产生电流的所谓的热电发电机。热电装置可以具有被布置为使得来自排气的热能够被转换成电能的一个或更多个热电元件。产生的电能可以被存储或被直接用来向电消耗装置供应能量。有利地,因此,来自排气的热不是没有进一步使用就被简单地排放到环境,而是在转换成电能之后被再次使用。能量平衡由此可以被改善。
根据本发明的机动车辆包含内燃发动机、进气通道以及如上面描述的排气***。机动车辆是由发动机驱动的车辆,例如陆地车辆、飞行器或船舶。可选地,机动车辆可以被配置为混合动力车辆,例如混合动力电动车辆。
根据本发明的机动车辆优点对应于根据本发明的排气***和其实施例变体的那些优点。此外,本发明在机动车辆中是特别有利的,因为其允许遵守关于污染物排放的允许水平的严格的法律限制。

具体实施方式
图1示意性地示出了具有根据现有技术的排气***1的内燃发动机2。
内燃发动机2(有时被称为燃烧机)是用于将燃料包含的化学能转化成机械功的内燃机器。内燃发动机可以例如是自点火或外部点火的。燃料可以例如是汽油或柴油。
经由进气通道9向内燃发动机2供应必要的燃烧过程所需的该进气29。在燃烧过程期间,形成排气4,排气4被引导到毗连内燃发动机2的排气通道3。沿排气4的流动方向观察,排气通道3包含若干排气后处理装置26a、26b和SCR***5,所述若干排气后处理装置26a、26b和SCR***5用来转化排气4中包含的污染物(例如氮氧化物、碳烟颗粒等)。例如,氧化催化剂或LNT催化剂可以被提供为靠近发动机布置的排气后处理装置26a。可以可选地被提供有用于选择性催化还原的涂层的微粒过滤器可以被布置在其下游作为排气后处理装置26b。
SCR***5远离发动机,例如被布置在机动车辆25的底板下区域中。节流装置6被布置在SCR***5的上游,借助于节流装置6可以对向SCR***5供应的排气4进行节流。节流装置6可以例如被配置为节流阀。对于特定EGR速率必要的再循环提取点8与再循环引入点10之间的压降可以借助于节流装置6来设置。图1示出了仅仅作为示例的处于关闭位置的节流装置6。
除了排气通道3和被布置在排气通道3中的装置之外,排气***1包含低压排气再循环通道(LP-EGR通道)7,所述低压排气再循环通道(LP-EGR通道)7连接被布置在节流装置6下游的排气通道3中的再循环提取点8与被布置在进气通道9中的再循环引入点10。EGR阀11被布置在再循环引入点10处,并且设定再循环的排气31的量,该再循环的排气31与来自外部的新鲜空气30一起作为进气29被供应到内燃发动机2。
冷却器12被布置在LP-EGR通道7中,借助于所述冷却器12能够对再循环的排气31进行冷却。为了例如在冷的环境温度下或在内燃发动机2的暖机期间允许排气再循环而不进行冷却,提供了旁通管路13,所述旁通管路13连接被布置在冷却器12上游的LP-EGR通道7中的旁通提取点14与被布置在冷却器12下游的LP-EGR通道7中的旁通引入点15,使得冷却器12能够被旁通。旁通阀16被布置在旁通提取点14处,借助于旁通阀16可以建立到冷却器12的流动与到旁通管路13的流动的比。旁通阀16可以例如被配置为三通阀。
利用在图1中示出的排气***1,SCR***5的冷却不是可能的,而是仅仅流过SCR***5的排气4与被再循环的排气4的比例能够被改变。具体地,一旦内燃发动机2在高负荷下运转,因此存在SCR***5过热使得选择性催化还原不再有效地进行的风险,并且还存在对SCR***5的热损坏的风险。
图2示出了具有根据本发明的示例性排气***1的内燃发动机2。相比于根据现有技术的排气***1(图1),还提供了再循环管路17,所述再循环管路17连接被布置在旁通管路13中的再循环提取点18与被布置在节流装置6下游且SCR***5上游的排气通道3中的再循环引入点19。
再循环阀20被布置在再循环管路17中,所述再循环阀20可以例如被配置为简单的2/2通方向控制阀。在图2中,仅仅作为一示例,再循环阀20被示为处于打开位置,使得再循环的排气32能够经由再循环管路17流回到排气通道3。
在图2中,作为一示例,旁通阀16被示为处于半打开位置(参见放大的图示,通过虚线被连接到旁通阀16)。在该位置中,一部分排气4被引导通过冷却器12,而其余排气4流过旁通管路13。
图2的排气***1允许SCR***5的冷却,因为再循环的排气32经由再循环管路17被引导到SCR***5上游的排气通道3内;它然后进入SCR***5并且对此进行冷却。在下面参考图3至6更详细地解释了排气***1的实际功能。
图3示出了处于具有EGR冷却的EGR模式的图2的排气***1。这意味着低压排气再循环***是激活的,即再循环的排气31被引导到进气通道9内,并且再循环的排气31被冷却。
内燃发动机2中形成的排气4首先流过排气后处理装置26a、26b。然后,排气4在再循环提取点8处被分成两部分气流,其中两部分气流的比借助于节流装置6来设置,所述节流装置6在图3中被示为处于半打开位置。排气4的第一部分气流流过节流装置6,然后进入SCR***5并且在经过SCR***5之后被排放到环境。
排气4的第二部分气流进入LP-EGR通道7。由于旁通阀16处于关闭位置,该气流流过冷却器12但不流过旁通管路13。在经过冷却器之后,经冷却的再循环的排气31流入进气通道9,其中再循环的排气31的量借助于EGR阀11来设置。再循环的排气31在再循环引入点10处与从外部供应的新鲜空气30混合。因而产生的进气29被供应到内燃发动机2。
再循环阀20被关闭,使得没有再循环的排气32能够经由再循环管路17进入排气通道3。
在图3中示出的运转模式对应于不需要SCR***5的冷却但是期望排气再循环的标准运转模式。然后,再循环的排气31能够优选地在高排气温度的情况下(例如在内燃发动机2已经到达其正常运转温度之后)被冷却。例如当内燃发动机2在低负荷下进行运转时,这种运转模式可以被选择。
图4示出了处于没有EGR冷却的EGR模式的图2的排气***1。这意味着低压排气再循环***是激活的,即再循环的排气31被引入到进气通道9内,但是再循环的排气31不被冷却。
相比于在图3中示出的具有EGR冷却的运转模式,旁通阀16处于打开位置。因此,排气4不流过冷却器12,而是流过旁通管路13。再循环的排气31因此被引入到进气通道9内而不进行冷却。
在图4中描绘的运转模式对应于不需要SCR***5的冷却但是期望排气再循环的标准运转模式。例如,只要内燃发动机2还未到达其正常运转温度并且因此排气温度低,再循环的排气31的冷却就可以被省略。例如,当内燃发动机2在低负荷下在暖机阶段中进行运转时,这种运转模式可以被选择。
图5示出了处于没有EGR的SCR冷却模式的来自图2的排气***1。这意味着低压排气再循环***不是激活的,即没有再循环的排气31被引入到进气通道9内。然而,再循环的排气32被供应到排气通道3,使得SCR***5可以被冷却。
如已经参考图3描述的,内燃发动机2中形成的排气首先流过排气后处理装置26a、26b。相比于图3中的运转模式,然而,节流装置6处于关闭位置,使得所有排气4都被引入到LP-EGR通道7内。
如在图3中,旁通阀16处于关闭位置,使得排气4流过冷却器12并且被冷却。因为EGR阀11处于关闭位置,没有再循环的排气31到达进气通道9。而是,经冷却的排气4流入旁通管路13,并且经由再循环提取点18从那里流入再循环管路17。经由处于打开位置的再循环阀20,再循环的排气32被返回到排气通道3并且然后到达SCR***5。因为再循环的排气32由于借助于冷却器12的冷却而具有比在再循环提取点处的排气4更低的温度,所以SCR***5被冷却或SCR***5的更低温度能够被维持。
例如,当内燃发动机2在全负荷下进行运转并且SCR***5因此需要冷却时,在图5中示出的运转模式可以被选择。
图6示出了图2的排气***1处于具有EGR的SCR冷却模式。这意味着低压排气再循环***是激活的,即再循环的排气31被引入到进气通道9内。此外,再循环的排气32被供应到排气通道3,使得SCR***5可以被冷却。
相比于图5中的运转模式,EGR阀11处于打开位置,使得再循环的排气被引导到进气通道9内。再循环阀20可以处于完全打开位置,如在图5中示出的,或被部分地打开,如在图6中示出的。借助于再循环阀20的打开位置,期望的排气背压可以被设置,使得期望的EGR速率能够被实现。为此,再循环阀20不被配置为2/2-通方向控制阀,而是被配置为连续可调阀。
例如,当内燃发动机2在全负荷下进行运转并且SCR***5因此需要冷却并且此外排气再循环是必要的时,在图6中示出的运转模式可以被选择。
图7示出了具有排气***1的又一示例性实施例的内燃发动机2。相比于图2中的实施例,传热器27–其可以例如被配置为空气/空气传热器–也被布置在再循环管路17中。图11a和11b示出了用于具有冷却肋33的传热器27的示例性实施例。
再循环的排气32可以借助于传热器27被进一步冷却,使得因此,SCR***5可以被更极大地冷却。如果存在对于SCR***5的冷却的特别高的需要,则可以是这样的情况。
图8示出了具有排气***1的又一示例性实施例的内燃发动机2。相比于图2中的实施例,此外热电装置28被布置在再循环管路17中。借助于热电装置,热可以从再循环的排气32被提取并且被转换成电能。
再循环的排气32可以借助于热电装置28被进一步冷却,使得因此,SCR***5可以被更极大地冷却。如果存在对于SCR***5的冷却的特别高的需要,则可以是这样的情况。可选地,热电装置28和传热器27两者可以被布置在再循环管路17中。
图9示出了具有排气***1的又一示例性实施例的内燃发动机2。相比于图2中的实施例,排气***1还包含温度确定装置21和控制单元22。温度确定装置21可以被配置为温度传感器并且被布置在SCR***5上,如在图9中示出的。温度确定装置21用于确定SCR***5的温度。
温度确定装置21被连接到控制单元22用于信号传输,使得输入信号23(表示例如SCR***5的温度)被传输到控制单元22并且由此能够被接收。
控制单元处理输入信号23,其中SCR***5的温度与最大温度进行比较。因此建立的是最大温度是否被超过以及是否存在对于对SCR***5进行冷却的需要。取决于比较结果,控制信号24a、24b、24c被发送到节流装置6、旁通阀16和再循环阀20,所述节流装置6、旁通阀16和再循环阀20中的每一个被连接到控制单元22以便信号传输。例如,如果存在冷却需要,再循环阀20被打开并且节流装置6至少被部分地关闭。

在图3至6中示出的运转模式可以例如借助于控制单元22来实施,因为节流装置5、旁通阀16、再循环阀20和EGR阀11因此可以被致动。
图10示出了包含内燃发动机2、进气通道9和排气***1的示例性机动车辆25。在图10中示出的排气***1在结构上类似于图2的排气***1。明显地,所描述的进一步排气***1或其组合也可以被集成在机动车辆25中。

Claims (10)
