Background
When the display industry pursues narrow-border experience, the design tends to be a Pad bending process structure. In the COP bending process, the back plate for supporting cannot be completely pressed during the lamination due to the driving chip, and as a result, bubbles are generated during the lamination of the back plate and the panel part. When the padending process is performed, the pressure head is pressed downwards, so that the bubbles move to the convex part of the driving chip to damage the driving chip.

As shown in fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic view of the display panel in the embodiment. In this embodiment, the display panel of the present invention includes a flexible substrate 10, a back plate 20, a stiffener 30, a driving chip 40, a polarizer 50, and a cover plate 60.
The flexible substrate 10 includes a light emitting surface for displaying a picture, and the flexible substrate 10 uses a flexible material as a substrate. The material of the flexible substrate comprises: in this embodiment, the flexible substrate 10 is made of a polyimide material, and the polyimide material has the advantages of wide temperature range, chemical resistance, high strength, and the like, so that the flexible substrate 10 has good flexibility.
The polarizer 50 is arranged on one side of the light-emitting surface of the flexible substrate 10, and the polarizer 50 is formed by an upper TAC (triacetyl cellulose) protective layer, a PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) layer and a lower TAC protective layer; the upper TAC protection layer and the lower TAC protection layer are used for protecting the PVA layer and preventing the PVA layer from shrinking; the PVA layer forms polarizing photons after being dyed and extended, and changes natural light into polarized light, thereby playing the role of linear polarization.
The cover plate 60 is disposed on one side of the polarizer 50 away from the flexible substrate 10, and the cover plate 60 is made of a hard glass substrate and is used for protecting the polarizer 50 and the flexible substrate 10 and preventing external water vapor and impurities from invading the display panel.
As shown in fig. 2, fig. 2 is an expanded top view of the display panel in the embodiment. The display panel further includes a display region 11, a bonding region 12, and a bending region 13, and the driving chip 40 is disposed in the bonding region 12 of the flexible substrate 10 through a bonding process.
The back plate 20 is disposed on a side of the flexible substrate 10 away from the light exit surface, the back plate 20 is disposed in the display area 11, and the back plate 20 is used for supporting, protecting, shading and reflecting the flexible substrate 10. Optionally, a foam layer may be further disposed on the back surface of the back plate 20, and the foam layer is used to further protect the flexible substrate 10.
As shown in fig. 3, fig. 3 is a view showing a reinforcing bar mounting step in the embodiment. The reinforcing ribs 30 are arranged on one side of the flexible substrate 10 far away from the light emergent surface, after the bending area 13 is bent, the reinforcing ribs 30 are arranged opposite to the back plate 20, the reinforcing ribs 30 are used for supporting and protecting the flexible substrate 10, and meanwhile, the problems of deformation, fracture and the like caused by bending force in the bending process of the flexible substrate 10 are avoided, in the embodiment, the reinforcing ribs 30 are made of hard resin materials, the thickness of the reinforcing ribs is 300-600 mu m, when the reinforcing ribs 30 are attached, the side surface of the back plate 10 of the display panel is supported through the reinforcing rib 30 mounting equipment 31, pressure can be applied to two sides of the driving chip 40, so that the reinforcing ribs 30 can be completely attached to the flexible substrate 10, and due to the characteristic that the reinforcing ribs 30 are hard, air bubbles cannot be left between the reinforcing ribs 30 and the flexible substrate 10, and the driving chip 40 is prevented from being damaged due to, the driving chip 40 is effectively protected, the service life of the driving chip 40 is prolonged, and the service life of the display panel is prolonged.
As shown in fig. 4, in this embodiment, the bonding region 12 is bent toward a direction away from the light emitting surface of the flexible substrate 10, that is, the reinforcing ribs 30 are bent toward the back plate 20, so that the driving chip 40 is located on the back surface of the flexible substrate 10.
In the embodiment, the display panel has the technical effects that the reinforcing ribs are introduced into the bending area of the display panel, so that the bending resistance and the pressure resistance of the display panel are improved, meanwhile, the display panel is prevented from generating bubbles to cause damage to the driving chip, and the yield of the display panel is improved.
