In an alternative embodiment, the UV LED array 30 comprises at least a plurality of individual chip modules, one chip module emitting light in a direction opposite the tip of the toothbrush head bristles, the other chip modules being disposed around the sides of the toothbrush head bristles, the other chip modules emitting light in a direction centered about the bristles.
Optionally, the sterilizing toothbrush case further includes a fixing member provided on an inner wall of the case body 10 for fixing the loaded toothbrush in the sterilizing toothbrush case. Accordingly, the ultraviolet light emitted from the ultraviolet light emitting diode array 30 may be irradiated in a range including a range of positions of the head of the toothbrush after the toothbrush is fixed. When the contact switch 40 senses that the cover 20 is closed, a sterilization start signal may be generated and transmitted to the driving circuit, so that the driving circuit generates a driving voltage and drives the ultraviolet light emitting diode array 30 to emit ultraviolet rays. Alternatively, the touch switch 40 in this embodiment may be a pressing type physical switch, or may be a light sensing switch, etc., when the toothbrush case is closed, the cover 20 is fastened to the case body 10 to trigger the first state (on state) of the touch switch 40, and when the toothbrush case is opened, the cover 20 is separated from the case body 10 to trigger the second state (off state) of the touch switch 40.
