Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
Among the correlation technique, adopt the bang to fill the flat technique on the smart mobile phone that adopts special-shaped cutting screen, through filling complete black picture for screen breach both sides for bang both sides are regional to demonstrate the display effect who is basically unanimous with screen breach department black apron, thereby reach the regional function of filling the bang, have eliminated screen upper portion and have had breach, the uneven problem in display area. However, for a smart phone using an Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) screen, since the Light-Emitting principle of the OLED is active Light emission, and the Light-Emitting materials of red, green, and blue (RGB) pixels decrease the Light-Emitting efficiency of the Light-Emitting materials with the increase of Light-Emitting time, which finally results in the decrease of the brightness of the screen. Through the experiment, find that after continuously lighting up the regional picture of bang both sides (notch both sides are the black picture promptly, the picture that normal display area is pure white) 100 hours, switch into a whole white picture again, when bang both sides region also was white promptly, the regional luminance of bang both sides is obviously higher than the luminance of normal display area, this kind of condition is called OLED burns the screen, and OLED burns the screen and can influence the user and use, there is the user and moves back after-sale risks such as quick-witted, seriously influence user experience.
In order to solve the above problem, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a screen display method, which is applied to a terminal that uses a special-shaped cutting screen, where the special-shaped cutting screen includes areas on two sides of a screen gap and a normal display area, and the method includes: acquiring first environment light brightness of a current environment where a terminal is located; determining a target gray scale matched with the first environmental light brightness according to gray scale picture configuration information, wherein the gray scale picture configuration information is used for recording the mapping relation between the predetermined environmental light brightness and different gray scales of a gray scale picture; and displaying gray scale pictures corresponding to the target gray scales in areas on two sides of the screen gap. FIG. 1 is a schematic front view of a terminal employing a contoured cutting screen in accordance with an exemplary embodiment; the special-shaped cutting screen comprises a screen gap two-side area 11 and a normal display area 12; in fig. 1, a black cover 13 is shown in the position of the screen cut. According to the screen display method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the gray scale images are displayed in the two side areas of the screen notch, and the target gray scale matched with the environmental brightness of the current environment is automatically determined, so that the gray scale images with different gray scales are displayed according to different environmental brightness, the problem of screen burning of an OLED (organic light emitting diode) can be effectively reduced, the leveling effect of the bang in the two side areas of the bang is ensured, and the user experience is improved.
Based on the above analysis, the following specific examples are proposed.
FIG. 2 is a flow chart illustrating a method of screen display according to an exemplary embodiment; the execution main body of the method can be a terminal, such as an electronic device like a smart phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a smart television, or a wearable device (such as a bracelet, smart glasses, etc.); the method can be applied to a terminal adopting a special-shaped cutting screen, wherein the special-shaped cutting screen comprises areas on two sides of a screen gap and a normal display area; as shown in fig. 2, the method comprises the following steps 201 and 203:
in step 201, a first ambient light brightness of a current environment in which the terminal is located is obtained.
For example, the implementation manner of obtaining the first ambient light brightness of the current environment of the terminal may include at least any one of the following manners or a combination of the following manners:
in the implementation mode 1, the terminal calls a light sensor of the terminal to measure and obtain the first environment light brightness of the current environment where the terminal is located. The terminal obtains the first environment light brightness of the current environment of the terminal by calling the light sensor configured on the terminal to measure, and the scheme is simple and easy to operate and has low cost.
In the implementation mode 2, the terminal sends a request message to the server, wherein the request message is used for requesting the server to provide the first environment light brightness of the current environment where the terminal is located; the request message may include, for example, geographic location information and environmental characteristics; geographic location information such as GPS information; environmental characteristics such as indoor, outdoor or floor information. The server obtains the first environment light brightness of the current environment of the terminal through measurement of a light sensor arranged in the current environment of the terminal, and sends a response message carrying the first environment light brightness of the current environment of the terminal to the terminal. The terminal receives a response message sent by the server, and analyzes the response message to obtain the first environment light brightness of the current environment where the terminal is located.
In step 202, a target gray scale matching the first environmental light brightness is determined according to gray scale image configuration information, where the gray scale image configuration information is used to record a predetermined mapping relationship between the environmental light brightness and different gray scales of the gray scale image.
Illustratively, a target ambient light brightness range matched with the first ambient light brightness is determined according to the gray scale picture configuration information; the gray scale picture configuration information can record the mapping relation between different predetermined environmental light brightness ranges and different gray scales of the gray scale picture; and determining a target gray scale corresponding to the target environment light brightness range according to the gray scale picture configuration information.
Optionally, in order to avoid the problem of the gray scale image varying back and forth due to the frequent change of the ambient light brightness, one or more ranges for excessive brightness, such as the first brightness range, may be pre-selected in each ambient light brightness range. When the target environment light brightness range is a preset first brightness range, acquiring second environment light brightness of an environment where the terminal is located before entering the current environment; determining a second brightness range matched with the second ambient light brightness according to the gray scale picture configuration information; determining a gray scale corresponding to the second brightness range according to the gray scale picture configuration information; and determining the gray scale corresponding to the second brightness range as a target gray scale corresponding to the target environment light brightness range.
For example, assume that the gray-scale frame configuration information records predetermined different ambient light brightness ranges, which are respectively: [0, 50lux), [50lux, 100lux), [100lux, 500lux), [500lux, 1000lux), [1000lux, ∞); in addition, the gray scale picture configuration information also records: the gray scale picture corresponding to the environment light brightness range [0, 50lux) is 0 gray scale, the gray scale picture corresponding to the environment light brightness range [100lux, 500lux) is 20 gray scale, and the gray scale picture corresponding to the environment light brightness range [1000lux, infinity) is 64 gray scale; the gray-scale image configuration information does not directly record the different gray scales of the gray-scale image mapped by the respective environmental light brightness ranges [50lux, 100lux) and [500lux, 1000 lux). For example, when the terminal enters an environment with the ambient light brightness of 700lux from an environment with the ambient light brightness of more than or equal to 1000lux, the gray scale of the gray scale picture in the two side areas of the screen gap is 64 gray scales; only when the terminal enters an environment with the ambient light brightness less than 500lux, the gray scale of the gray scale picture in the two side areas of the screen gap is changed into 20 gray scales. Similarly, when the terminal enters an environment with the environment brightness of 700lux from an environment with the environment brightness of less than 500lux, the gray scale of the gray scale picture in the two side areas of the screen gap is 20 gray scale, and only when the terminal enters the environment with the environment brightness of more than or equal to 1000lux, the gray scale of the gray scale picture in the two side areas of the screen gap is changed into 64 gray scale, so that the problem that the gray scale of the gray scale picture changes back and forth due to frequent change of the environment brightness can be avoided.
It should be noted that, under the condition of high reflectivity of the OLED screen, when the outdoor condition, for example, the ambient light brightness is greater than 1000lux, the influence of the ambient reflection on the bang leveling effect of the bang has caused the bang leveling to be the same as the display effect of the black picture and the 64 gray-scale picture, so that the 64 gray-scale picture can be displayed in the two side areas of the screen gap, so that the two side areas of the screen gap exhibit the display effect substantially the same as the black cover plate at the screen gap; when the environment is in an indoor environment, for example, the ambient light brightness range is [100lux, 500lux), it is found through experiments that the display effect of the gray-scale picture with 20 gray scales and the black picture is not noticeable to human eyes; and for the indoor environment and the complete dark environment at night with the environmental light brightness less than 50lux, human eyes are sensitive to the brightness, and at the moment, gray scale pictures of 0 gray scale are displayed in the areas on the two sides of the screen gap.
In step 203, gray scale frames corresponding to the target gray scales are displayed in the areas on both sides of the screen gap.
For example, the areas on the two sides of the screen gap display gray scale pictures, which are equivalent to the fact that the RGB of each pixel is lighted, are equivalent to the fact that the pixel brightness in the areas on the two sides of the screen gap, namely the bang fill area, is attenuated while the pixel brightness in the normal display area is attenuated, so that the problem that the brightness difference between the areas on the two sides of the screen gap and the normal display area is too large is solved, and the problem of screen burning of the OLED is effectively reduced. In addition, the user can flexibly set the gray scales of the gray scale pictures corresponding to different environmental light brightness ranges according to actual use requirements.
The technical scheme that this disclosure provided through at the regional grey scale picture that shows of screen breach both sides to the target grey scale that matches with the environmental brightness of current environment is confirmed automatically, thereby shows the grey scale picture of different grey scales to different environmental brightness, can effectively reduce the emergence of OLED burn the screen problem, guarantees the bang fill-up effect in bang both sides region simultaneously, promotes user experience.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a screen display method according to an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 3, on the basis of the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the screen display method related to the present disclosure may include the following steps 301 and 304:
in step 301, a light sensor of the terminal is called to measure and obtain a first ambient light brightness of a current environment where the terminal is located.
In step 302, a target ambient light brightness range matching the first ambient light brightness is determined according to the grayscale frame configuration information.
For example, the gray scale image configuration information specifically records predetermined mapping relationships between different environmental light brightness ranges and different gray scales of the gray scale image.
In step 303, a target gray level corresponding to the target ambient light brightness range is determined according to the gray level image configuration information.
In step 304, gray scale frames corresponding to the target gray scales are displayed in the areas on both sides of the screen gap.
According to the technical scheme, the gray scale pictures with different brightness can be switched and displayed in the areas on two sides of the screen gap in different external environments by acquiring the brightness of the first environment of the current environment where the terminal is located, so that the attenuation of the pixel brightness of the normal display area of the screen and the attenuation of the pixel brightness of the areas on two sides of the screen gap can be guaranteed to be consistent as much as possible, and the problem of OLED screen burning caused by inconsistent brightness after the pixel attenuation existing in the related technology is avoided.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a screen display method according to an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 4, on the basis of the embodiment shown in fig. 2, the screen display method related to the present disclosure may include the following steps 401 and 407:
in step 401, a first ambient light brightness of a current environment where the terminal is located is obtained.
In step 402, a target ambient light level range matching the first ambient light level is determined according to the grayscale frame configuration information.
In step 403, when the target ambient light brightness range is the preset first brightness range, a second ambient light brightness of the environment where the terminal is located before entering the current environment is obtained.
In step 404, a second luminance range matching the second ambient light luminance is determined according to the grayscale frame configuration information.
In step 405, a gray level corresponding to the second brightness range is determined according to the gray level screen configuration information.
In step 406, the gray scale corresponding to the second brightness range is determined as the target gray scale corresponding to the target ambient light brightness range.
In step 407, a gray scale frame corresponding to the target gray scale is displayed in the two side areas of the screen gap.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, one or more ranges for excessive brightness, such as a first brightness range, are selected in advance from each environment brightness range in the gray scale image configuration information, and the gray scale corresponding to the second environment brightness of the environment where the terminal is located before entering the current environment is determined as the target gray scale corresponding to the target environment brightness range, so that the problem that the gray scale of the gray scale image changes back and forth due to frequent changes of the environment brightness can be avoided.
