Abstract
The present invention relates to a portable storage device and a storage system based thereon. The portable storage device comprises a memory, a memory controller, a CPU and a plurality of communication modules, wherein the memory is used for providing a user storage space, the CPU manages the user storage space of the memory through the memory controller based on a built-in operating system, the CPU controls the communication modules based on the built-in operating system to realize communication with mobile equipment or fixed equipment and provide file services, the memory controller is respectively connected with the CPU and the memory, the CPU is also connected with the communication modules, and the communication modules at least comprise a Wi-Fi module and an Ethernet module. The storage system comprises the portable storage device and a mobile device or a fixed device communicated with the portable storage device. The invention is convenient and flexible to use and can reduce the occupation of physical ports.

Technical Field

Background
There are two types of storage solutions currently used for mobile and stationary devices (e.g., cell phones, tablets, notebooks, desktop computers, etc.), namely portable storage solutions and stationary storage solutions. The portable scheme includes a memory (including flash memory, mechanical hard disk, solid state disk, etc., commonly known as a U disk and a mobile hard disk) using a USB as a transmission channel, and the fixed application scheme includes Network-attached Storage. Due to the application of the technical scheme, compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages: the invention is convenient and flexible to use and can reduce the occupation of physical ports.

The invention will be further described with reference to examples of embodiments shown in the drawings to which the invention is attached.
The first embodiment is as follows: as shown in fig. 1, a portable storage device includes a memory, a memory controller, a CPU, and several communication modules. The memory controller is respectively connected with the CPU and the memory, and the CPU is also connected with each communication module.
The memory is used for providing user storage space, can be a Flash memory, a solid state disk or a mechanical hard disk, and is miniaturized. The CPU is a master IC core that is based on a built-in operating system and manages the user memory space of the memory through a memory controller, which may be, but is not limited to, the CPU of ARM, RISC-V, or MIPS architectures. The memory controller is a Flash controller (such as UFS), or a controller such as SATA/SAS/NVME. The CPU also controls each channel of communication module based on a built-in operating system, thereby realizing communication with the mobile equipment or the fixed equipment and providing file service. The communication module at least comprises a Wi-Fi module, an Ethernet module and a USB module, and the CPU exchanges data and receives control of external equipment through Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB and other modes.
The portable storage device also comprises a power management module for supplying power to the internal or external device of the portable storage device under the control of the CPU, and the power management module can also detect the charge and discharge of the lithium battery and the global power supply and can charge the external device. The portable storage device also includes a number of keys for inputting instructions to the CPU for making preset state selections.
The operating system of the portable storage device can use any operating system such as Linux or Android, and needs to provide file services such as Samba, NFS, FTP, HTTP/HTTPs, and any third-party file services. As shown in fig. 2.
The portable storage device communicates with the mobile device or the fixed device, so that the portable storage device and the mobile device or the fixed device form a storage system. The communication method for realizing the storage system comprises the following three working states:
working state 1: the mobile equipment or the fixed equipment is connected with a network by using data traffic provided by an operator, and a Wi-Fi hotspot is opened, namely Wi-Fi sharing is carried out, and the portable storage equipment establishes connection with the mobile equipment or the fixed equipment by using the Wi-Fi hotspot, so that a communication function is realized; meanwhile, the mobile device or the fixed device maintains a connection function to the external network.
And 2, working state: the mobile device or the fixed device is connected with the network by using indoor Wi-Fi, and the portable storage device is connected with the mobile device or the fixed device in the same subnet by using the same indoor Wi-Fi or a wired network, so that a communication function is realized, and a file service is provided.
And 3, working state: under the condition of not connecting an external network, the portable storage device provides the functions of a Wi-Fi hotspot and a wired network switch, so that the mobile device or the fixed device can be conveniently accessed, and the mobile device or the fixed device is connected with the portable storage device in the same subnet by using the functions of the Wi-Fi hotspot or the wired network switch, so that the communication function is realized, and the portable storage device provides file service. The context may also be used to set various parameters of the portable storage device.
