Description

Method for improving rooting rate of plants difficult to root
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of agriculture, relates to a plant rooting rate application method, and particularly relates to a method for improving the rooting rate of plants difficult to root.
Background
Layering propagation is a mode of plant asexual propagation, and is a propagation method that branches of trees are pressed into or wrapped in a matrix in a state that the branches are not separated from a parent body, the pressed parts or the wrapped parts are promoted to generate roots, and then the branches are cut off from the parent body to form independent new plants. The plants bred through layering propagation can keep the excellent characteristics and characters of the mother plants, and for fruit tree plants, the bearing age is earlier.
The rooting agent is auxin compound belonging to plant growth regulator promoter, and has the functions of maintaining the apical dominance of plant in plant body, inducing assimilation product to transport to fruit, promoting plant rooting, etc.
The layering propagation method not only can directly utilize the cultivated plants for field planting and orchard establishment or afforestation, but also can ensure that the stocks keep consistency by taking the cultivated plants as the stocks through layering propagation, and then grafting scion varieties on the stocks.
For the purpose of successful layering, it is a common practice to employ a rooting-promoting substance such as hormones at the site to be rooted, which is necessary for woody plants that are difficult to root. The current method of applying hormones in a wide range is to mix the hormone with water or an organic solvent and apply or spray the mixture to the target site. The method has the defects that the concentration of the rooting promoting substances such as hormones and the like at the target part is gradually reduced along with the time, which is particularly obvious under the condition that rainwater exists in the field, so that the effect of the rooting promoting substances such as hormones and the like in layering is reduced, the rooting rate is reduced, and the rooting effect is influenced.
In order to improve the layering rooting rate of plants difficult to root and reduce the reduction of the content of rooting promoting substances such as hormones and the like in a target finger section caused by rain wash, some layering practice activities developed outdoors have to take hormone supplementing measures frequently, which undoubtedly increases the workload and the production cost; in order to avoid the influence of rainwater, layering practices developed in facilities such as greenhouses and greenhouses can not only increase the production cost, but also cannot ensure that the hormone concentration of the target branch section cannot be gradually reduced. And the air layering is adopted on the big tree, so that the hormone content of the target branch section is more difficult to control. Therefore, it is imperative to construct a method for promoting rooting by uniformly mixing the rooting promoting substance with the ointment carrier and then coating the mixture on the branch segment.

Specifically, the cream carrier material is one or more of vaseline, lard and lanolin.
Specifically, the rooting promoting substance mixing method comprises the steps of uniformly dispersing the rooting promoting substance in the paste carrier substance through water bath heating, and fully stirring and cooling the paste carrier substance for later use when the paste carrier substance is dissolved into paste.
Specifically, the plant difficult to root comprises peach, wintersweet, pine, Chinese flowering apple, cercis chinensis, zelkova, tabasheer, bamboo, dupustula, Chinese chestnut, walnut, oak and persimmon.
Specifically, when the layering operation is performed, the prepared paste containing the rooting promoting substance is dipped by a brush, and is uniformly brushed on the branch segment to be rooted, and then the branch segment to be rooted is covered or wrapped by the matrix according to the normal layering procedure. Other management is performed according to the plant layering operation method.

Walnut is one of the tree species difficult to root, and is difficult to root by adopting propagation methods such as cuttage, tissue culture and the like.
The layering method adopts a vertical layering method. The rooting promoter is indolebutyric acid (IBA) and ointment, and the ointment mixture containing IBA is prepared.
(1) The seedling planting time is 3 late ten days. Before planting, the main root of the mother plant is reserved for about 18cm, and the lateral root is reserved for about 12cm and trimmed. The planting depth is that the root neck is equal to the ground, the seedling stem of the mother seedling is fixed by a hook and kept equal to the ground, and the seedling stem is buried with fine river sand with the thickness of 3-4 cm. At the beginning of 6 months, namely when the young plants on the trunk of the mother plant have the germination length of about 20cm, the base parts of the young plants are cultivated with 10-15cm of fine river sand.
(2) And (4) taking off river sand at the base of the daughter plant for 22 days at 6 months, performing ring-opening on the base of the daughter plant by using a binding thread, dipping ointment containing IBA into the ointment by using a brush which is 10cm (rooting zone) above the base of the daughter plant, and uniformly brushing the ointment on a branch section to be rooted. Finally, carrying out sand culture by using river until the depth is 10-20 cm.
