Description

Conference telephone
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of communication, in particular to a conference telephone.
Background
The conventional conference phone usually adopts a upward sound amplification design, but the internal arrangement of the conference phone is too complicated to smoothly and directly transmit the sound generated by the speaker through the sound outlet hole of the device housing, so that the sound amplification effect is limited. The function keys of the conference telephone are arranged on one side of the device shell to avoid interfering with the sound amplification effect. However, when a conference call is generally used, the participants are usually seated around the conference call, and thus not every person can conveniently operate. In addition, some function keys have light indication, and some participants may not see the light indication effectively due to the problem of the angle of the function keys or the shielding of the device shell, which causes troubles in use.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the problems in the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a conference phone, in which a speaker is directly disposed upward to obtain a direct sound amplification effect, and a cross-over bracket is used to support a key switch on a sound output hole of the conference phone, so as to reduce the influence on the sound amplification effect and make the key switch easy to be observed and used by a user.
The conference telephone according to the invention comprises a base, an upper cover, a button switch and a loudspeaker. The upper cover is connected to the base and comprises a body and a support frame, the body forms a sound outlet, the support frame stretches across the sound outlet and is connected to the body, the support frame comprises a button seat and a plurality of supports, the button seat is located above the sound outlet, and each support is connected to the button seat and the body. The loudspeaker is aligned upwards to the sound outlet hole and is arranged on the base. The button switch is arranged on the button seat and positioned above the loudspeaker. Therefore, the sound generated by the sound-raising sound can be directly transmitted out through the sound-emitting hole, and the button switch can be approximately arranged at the center of the conference telephone through the support frame, so that the user can conveniently observe and operate the conference telephone.
The advantages and spirit of the present invention can be further understood by the following detailed description of the invention and the accompanying drawings.

Detailed Description
Please refer to fig. 1 to 3. A conference phone 1 according to one embodiment includes a base 10, a cover 12, a controller 14, a speaker 16, a push button switch 18, and two microphones 20. The controller 14, the speaker 16 and the microphone 20 are disposed on the base 10, the cover 12 is connected to the base 10, and the button switch 18 is disposed on the cover 12. The controller 14 is electrically connected to the speaker 16, the button switch 18 and the microphone 20 to control the speaker 16 to generate sound, the button switch 18 to receive a trigger operation of a user, and the microphone 20 to receive a sound signal. In the present embodiment, the controller 14 is substantially implemented by a circuit board module (which includes a circuit board and electronic components required to be disposed thereon and connectors electrically connected to other components, etc., wherein the circuit board has a contour matched with the speaker 16 to avoid structural interference), but the implementation is not limited thereto. In addition, to simplify the drawings, screws for engaging the members are not all shown in the drawings.
In the present embodiment, the top cover 12 includes a main body 120 and a supporting frame 122, the main body 120 is connected to the base 10 to form a sound outlet 120a, and the supporting frame 122 is connected to the main body 120 (or the wall of the sound outlet 120 a) across the sound outlet 120 a. The outline of the sound outlet hole 120a in the sound outlet direction 16a (indicated by an arrow in the figure) is a circle and is joined to (a diaphragm of) the speaker 16, for example, the outline of the sound outlet hole 120a adjacent to the speaker 16 is slightly larger than the outline of the diaphragm of the speaker 16, or both are substantially the same; in addition, the sound outlet hole 120a is formed in a horn-like structure or an involute structure in the sound outlet direction 16 a. However, the present invention is not limited thereto. The speaker 16 is disposed on the base 10 in alignment with the sound outlet hole 120a, that is, a sound outlet direction 16a (in the embodiment, the diaphragm vibrates in parallel to the direction to generate sound) of the speaker 16 (shown as a single entity in fig. 3 to simplify the drawing) is the same as an opening direction of the sound outlet hole 120a (or the sound outlet hole 120a is disposed substantially coaxially with the speaker 16). Thus, the sound generated from the speaker 16 can be directly transmitted through the sound output hole 120 a. Although the support frame 122 spans the sound outlet 120a, the sound outlet 120a still has a relatively large channel for effectively transmitting sound. In addition, in the present embodiment, the supporting frame 122 includes a button seat 1222 and a plurality of supports 1224, the button seat 1222 is located above the sound outlet 120a, and each of the supports 1224 is connected to the button seat 1222 and the body 120 (or the wall of the sound outlet 120 a), respectively. In general, the plurality of brackets 1224 are disposed in an X-shape with respect to the opening direction of the sound outlet hole 120a, which can provide stable support for the button seat 1222, and the number of brackets 1224 is small, which has little influence on the sound amplification effect. In practice, the brackets 1224 may be arranged in a greater or lesser number, and in principle may be arranged at an equal circumferential angle with respect to the opening direction of the sound outlet port 120 a.
Further, the button switch 18 is provided on the button holder 1222 and positioned above the speaker 16. In the present embodiment, the push button switch 18 includes, but is not limited to, a circuit board 182, a switch 184 disposed on the circuit board 182, an elastic body 186 disposed on the switch 184, and a pressing portion 188 (or integrally formed with the elastic body 186) connected to the elastic body 186, the push button switch 18 is locked on the button seat 1222 through the circuit board 182 and disposed on the upper cover 12, the pressing portion 188 is exposed from the conference phone 1, and the elastic body 186 (including, but not limited to, made of rubber) provides a restoring force when the pressing portion 188 is pressed (i.e., the user operates the push button switch 18). The projection of the button seat 1222 (and the button switch 18) in the sound emitting direction 16a (i.e., the projection on the speaker 16) falls within the speaker 16, and in this embodiment, the button seat 1222 (and the button switch 18) is located on the square of the voice coil of the single speaker 16. In practice, the projection of the button seat 1222 (and the button switch 18) on the speaker 16 may be designed to fall inside the diaphragm of the speaker 16 (i.e., the projection of the diaphragm of the speaker 16 around the button seat 1222 (and the button switch 18) on the speaker 16) to reduce the influence of the button seat 1222 (and the button switch 18) on the sound propagating from the speaker 16. In this embodiment, therefore, the push-button switch 18 is located substantially at the center of the conference phone 1 as a whole, and the user can see the push-button switch 18 (and its state) and operate (e.g., press the push-button switch 18) from all directions of the conference phone 1. For example, the button switch 18 is a mute switch and may include a light indication 18a (indicated by a dotted line in fig. 1; for example, a light emitting element is disposed on the circuit board 182, the elastic body 186 is made of a light permeable material, the pressing portion 188 has a light permeable pattern, such as a microphone icon with an oblique line, for implementing the light indication 18a), and the controller 14 may control the display state of the light indication 18a according to the button switch 18 (for example, when the button switch 18 is pressed, the light indication 18a is turned on); therefore, the user can clearly see the state of the mute switch, and the situation of improper sound production (such as mistaken speaking and cough) can be easily avoided.
In addition, the push button switch 18 is electrically connected to the controller 14 via an electrical connection 22, the electrical connection 22 being secured to one of the brackets 1224. For example, the support 1224 extends along an extension direction 1224a (shown by the arrow in fig. 3); in the present embodiment, the extending direction 1224a is a straight direction (e.g., the radial direction of the sound outlet 120 a) and perpendicular to the sound outlet 16a, but the implementation is not limited thereto, and for example, the extending direction is an arc direction, i.e., the extending direction extends along an arc path. Electrical connection wires 22 (including but not limited to flexible flat cables) extend along the support 1224 (i.e., along the extension direction 1224 a) and are adhesively fixed to the support 1224, such as by double-sided adhesive tape, and are connected to the push button switch 18 and the controller 14 at two ends; thus, the electrical connection line 22 does not vibrate excessively with the sound generated by the speaker 16. In practice, the configuration of cradle 1224 toward speaker 16 (i.e., downward) may be streamlined to inhibit interference with acoustic propagation from speaker 16. For example, the support 1224 has an extended cross-section 1224b (i.e., a cross-section perpendicular to the extension direction 1224 a), which may be a V-shaped cross-section (i.e., the support 1224 is a V-shaped groove as shown in fig. 4) or a triangular cross-section (i.e., the support 1224 is a triangular tube as shown in fig. 5), with the apex angle facing downward (or towards the speaker 16), so that sound waves generated by the speaker 16 can smoothly pass through the support 1224 without generating excessive sound wave reflections. In practice, the cross-section may also be circular or U-shaped (i.e., the support 1224 is a circular tube or U-shaped slot), etc. At this time, the electrical connection wire 22 can be flatly attached to the surface of the bracket 1224, and can be received in the inner side of the groove (V-shaped groove, U-shaped groove) or the hole (triangular tube, circular tube).
Similarly, in practice, the button seat 1222 may be contoured toward the speaker 16 (i.e., facing downward) to inhibit interference with acoustic propagation from the speaker 16. For example, as shown in fig. 6, the button holder 1222 may include a body 1222a and a cone 1222b connected to the body 1222a, the body 1222a being connected to the bracket 1224, the cone 1222b being located below the body 1222a and protruding toward the speaker 16. The cone 1222b has a streamlined surface, and in this example, the cone 1222b has a concave curved surface, so that sound waves generated by the speaker 16 can pass through the button seat 1222 smoothly without excessive reflection of the sound waves. In addition, in this embodiment, although the circuit board of the button switch 18 is disposed between the body 1222a of the button seat 1222 and the cone-shaped structure 1222b, the structural connection between the cone-shaped structure 1222b and the body 1222a can be realized by an appropriate structural design (for example, the circuit board of the button switch 18 is C-shaped to form an avoiding space, so that the cone-shaped structure 1222b can be directly connected with the body 1222 a), which is not described in detail herein.
As shown in fig. 1 to fig. 3 and fig. 7, the microphone 20 is disposed on the base 10 in a substantially lateral direction, that is, a sound receiving direction 20a (indicated by an arrow) of the microphone 20 is substantially horizontal, so that a sound emitting direction 16a of the speaker 16 is substantially perpendicular to the sound receiving direction 20a of the microphone 20 (or the included angle is about 90 degrees). This configuration helps to suppress or eliminate interference of the speaker 16 with the microphone 20 from outside the conference phone 1. In practice, the sound receiving direction 20a of the microphone 20 may be slightly tilted upward (as shown by the sound receiving direction 20a shown by the dotted arrow; e.g., the sound emitting direction 16a is at an angle of about 80 degrees to the sound receiving direction 20 a), which may help to increase the sound receiving range (e.g., when the conference telephone 1 is placed on a desk for use). In addition, the two microphones 20 of the conference phone 1 are oppositely disposed on two sides of the base 10, so as to increase the sound receiving range and also facilitate the noise reduction process.
In addition, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, in the present embodiment, the main body 120 of the upper cover 12 includes a plurality of key caps 120b (including but not limited to a volume up key, a volume down key, a talk off key, a bluetooth key, a power key, etc.) disposed around the main body 120, for example, the upper cover 12 is integrally formed (for example, the upper cover 12 is a plastic injection member), wherein the key caps 120b are in a cantilever structure. The controller 14 includes a corresponding switch (not shown) that the user can activate by pressing the key cap 120 b. Each keycap 120b can be combined with the lamp number to indicate and display the corresponding switch state, which is not described in detail. In addition, referring to fig. 8, in the present embodiment, the key cap 120b is disposed obliquely, so as to facilitate the operation of the user. For example, when a user presses the key cap 120b with a finger (shown in fig. 8 with a dotted line), the tilted key cap 120b facilitates the user to touch and apply a force, and the pressing force received by the conference phone 1 includes a downward component, which helps the conference phone 1 to keep still, and the foot pad 28 (including but not limited to rubber) below the conference phone 1 can also enhance the effect of keeping the conference phone 1 still. The conference telephone 1 further comprises a dust screen 24 and a cover screen 26. A dust screen 24 (including but not limited to a fabric or sponge) is disposed on the top cover 12 and covers the sound outlet holes 120 a. A covering net 26 (including but not limited to a metal net product or a metal net member with a plastic frame for combining with the upper cover 12) is disposed on the upper cover 12 and covers the sound outlet 120a and the dust screen 24. In this embodiment, the dust screen 24 and the cover screen 26 each have a through hole therebetween to expose the push button switch 18.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention, and all equivalent changes and modifications made in accordance with the claims of the present invention should be covered by the present invention.
