一种视频播放方法及装置，其中方法包括：获取目标观看轨迹文件，所述目标观看轨迹文件为针对360度视频预先生成的至少一个观看轨迹文件中的任意一个；根据所述目标观看轨迹文件，确定用户观看所述360度视频时的目标观看轨迹信息，所述目标观看轨迹信息包括播放进度时间、视野聚焦位置和视野旋转角度；按照所述目标观看轨迹信息播放所述360度视频。通过本发明实施例可以自动控制观看视野的移动，实现360度视频观看轨迹的分享。
