Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of human body implanted medical appliances, and particularly relates to an orthodontic anchorage micro-screw and a using method thereof.
Background
Compared with the traditional orthodontic anchorage, the micro screw can provide absolute anchorage, and in the process of adducting anterior teeth in a double-process case, because traction force is applied to the alveolar bone through the micro screw, posterior teeth can hardly move forwards, and the anterior teeth can be adducted to the maximum degree to improve the process; in the case of full dentition posterior displacement, the micro-screw can also better back-push the molar, resulting in good correction results. With the assistance of the micro-screws, an orthodontist can control tooth movement more accurately without depending on the cooperation of patients; in addition, the miniscrew has the advantages of small volume, flexible use and the like, is widely used in clinic since 90 years, and plays an important role in treating some complex and serious malocclusion.
However, to ensure stability, the position of the miniscrew is typically one third of the height of the root apex, which in clinical use may lead to undesirable posterior depression due to the high direction of force applied.
Therefore, the development of the orthodontic anchorage micro-screw capable of providing various connection modes and the use method thereof is expected, the force application mode of the orthodontic anchorage micro-screw is increased, the range of the force application direction is expanded, and the orthodontic anchorage micro-screw can be more flexibly applied in orthodontic clinic.
