Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a storage medium for indicating system information update.
Background
In a 5G (fifth generation mobile communication system) NR (New Radio, New air interface) system, System Information (SI) is mainly used for system access, cell selection, and cell-level Radio parameter configuration. The System Information is divided into MIB (Master Information Block) and a plurality of SIBs (System Information Blocks). The existing system information may be classified into two types, one is minimum system information (MinimumSI) that needs to be broadcast, including MIB and SIB1, and the Other is remaining system information (Other SI). The Minimum SI is sent according to periodic broadcast, and the Other SI may be notified to the UE (User Equipment) by way of broadcast or dedicated signaling. When the system information is updated, the RAN (Radio Access Network ) updates the system information by sending an SI change indication in a paging message.

Thus, the network side can indicate whether the system information needs to be updated or not for a certain type or a certain plurality of types of system information, and the UE can determine whether the corresponding type of system information needs to be updated or not according to the bit field value corresponding to each type of system information in the received DCI.
Second embodiment, extension of existing DCI Format
In this embodiment, a system information update flag may be added to a DCI format corresponding to an uplink or downlink shared channel, and similar to the first embodiment, the added system information update flag may share one update flag for all system information, or may indicate each type of system information separately.
In order to reduce the complexity of the UE, in the embodiment of the present invention, the configuration information of the system information update may be sent through RRC signaling, for example, may be sent to the UE in SIB 1. Based on this, in the implementation of the present invention, before sending the downlink control information to the UE, the RAN may further include the following steps: the RAN sends RRC (radio resource control) signaling to the UE, where configuration information of system information update is carried, where the configuration information of system information update includes a transmission period of DCI indicating system information update, a used frequency domain resource, and the like.
In the method for indicating system information update provided in the embodiment of the present invention, system information update and paging message are separately transmitted, and DU may transmit corresponding DCI in real time according to the conditions of MIB and SIB1 or other information notified by CU, so that system information update may be more easily and quickly implemented.

the sending unit is further configured to send a radio resource control signaling to the UE before sending downlink control information to the UE, where the radio resource control signaling carries configuration information for updating system information.
29. A communications apparatus, comprising: a processor, a memory, and a transceiver; wherein the memory stores a computer program, and the processor is configured to read the program stored in the memory and execute the method according to any one of claims 1 to 14.
