Abstract
The embodiment of the invention provides a flexible cover plate, a preparation method thereof and a display panel, wherein the flexible cover plate comprises the following components: the folding area and the non-folding area are arranged on two sides of the folding area; the folded regions and the unfolded regions are arranged in a first direction; a groove is arranged on the first surface of the folding area, the groove extends along a second direction, the depth of the groove is smaller than the thickness of the non-folding area, and the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction; and the groove is filled with a transparent organic material layer. According to the flexible cover plate provided by the embodiment of the invention, the groove is formed in the first surface of the folding area, and the transparent organic matter is filled in the groove, so that the flexibility of the flexible cover plate can be increased, the flexible cover plate is easier to bend, the second surface of the flexible cover plate is ensured to be made of the original material, and the touch feeling and the scraping resistance of the flexible cover plate are not influenced.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a flexible cover plate, a preparation method of the flexible cover plate and a display panel.
Background
At present, an OLED (organic light emitting semiconductor) screen is widely concerned by people with a series of advantages of lightness, thinness, excellent display effect, high contrast, wide color gamut, flexibility and the like, and is considered to be a next generation display scheme expected to replace liquid crystal. Flexible OLEDs are the focus of attention for their thin, lightweight, and flexible nature.
With the rise of foldable mobile phones, the foldable OLED display is increasingly highlighted, but the foldable display still faces many problems to be solved. The glass cover plate is usually replaced by a high polymer film in a module structure of the folding screen, but the touch feeling of a product is sacrificed when the folding performance is improved by using the high polymer film, and the high polymer film is also low in scratch resistance.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a display panel, which aims to solve the problems of poor touch and low scratch resistance of the conventional flexible cover plate which adopts a high-molecular film to completely replace a glass cover plate.
One aspect of the present invention provides a flexible cover plate, including: the folding area and the non-folding area are arranged on two sides of the folding area; the folded region and the non-folded region are arranged along a first direction;
a groove is arranged on the first surface of the folding area, the groove extends along a second direction, the depth of the groove is smaller than the thickness of the non-folding area, and the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction;
and the groove is filled with a transparent organic material layer.
Optionally, the material of the folded and unfolded regions comprises: a glass material.
Optionally, further comprising an optical compensation layer; the light compensation layer is arranged on one side of the transparent organic layer, which faces away from the second side of the folding area; the second face of the folded region is opposite the first face of the folded region.
Optionally, a planarization layer is further included; the planarization layer is arranged on the first surface of the flexible cover plate, arranged on two sides of the optical compensation layer and used for enabling the first surface of the flexible cover plate to be planarized.
Optionally, the thickness of the flexible cover plate at the fold region at the bottom of the recess is 50-100 μm.
Optionally, the width of the groove is less than or equal to the width of the folding zone.
Optionally, the transparent organic includes: any one of polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, or polyethylene terephthalate.
Optionally, the optical compensation layer comprises: a cellulose or polyarylate optical compensation layer.
A second aspect of the present invention provides a display panel comprising: a display module and a flexible cover plate as described above; the first surface of the folding area faces the display module.
A third aspect of the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a flexible cover plate, which is applied to any one of the above flexible cover plates, and includes:
providing a flexible cover glass; the flexible cover glass includes: the folding area and the non-folding area are arranged on two sides of the folding area; the folded region and the non-folded region are arranged along a first direction;
etching a groove on the first surface of the folding area along a second direction to enable the depth of the groove to be smaller than the thickness of the non-folding area, wherein the second direction is vertical to the first direction;
and filling transparent organic matters in the groove, and carrying out planarization treatment on the transparent organic matters.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be obtained by a person skilled in the art without inventive step based on the embodiments of the present invention, are within the scope of protection of the present invention.
Example one
Referring to fig. 1,base:Sub>A schematic structural diagram ofbase:Sub>A flexible cover plate provided in an embodiment of the present invention is shown, where fig. 1 (base:Sub>A) isbase:Sub>A top view of the flexible cover plate, and fig. 1 (b) isbase:Sub>A cross-sectional view of fig. 1 (base:Sub>A)base:Sub>A-base:Sub>A, the flexible cover plate including:
a folding zone 10 and non-folding zones 20 disposed on both sides of the folding zone 10; the folded region 10 and the unfolded region 20 are arranged along a first direction D1;
a groove is formed in a first surface X of the folding area 10, the groove extends along a second direction D2, a depth L1 of the groove is smaller than a thickness L2 of the non-folding area, and the second direction D2 is perpendicular to the first direction D1; the recess is filled with a transparent organic layer 11.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the material of the folded region 10 and the unfolded region 20 comprises: a glass material.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the body of the flexible cover plate is made of a glass material, and then a groove is formed in the folding area of the glass by etching, wherein the groove does not penetrate through the second surface Y of the folding area. That is, in the present embodiment, the folding region of the flexible cover sheet includes: the glass layer and the transparent organic layer, wherein the glass layer is of an integral structure with the glass layer in the non-folding area.
In an embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 1 (b), a thickness L3 of the flexible cover plate located at the folding region at the bottom of the groove is 50 μm to 100 μm. Wherein, the part of the flexible cover plate belongs to the specification of the ultra-thin glass.
In the embodiment of the present invention, since the second surface Y of the flexible cover is a touch surface, and the touch surface is made of glass material in the folding area 10 and the non-folding area 20, the touch feeling of the flexible cover is not affected, and the scratch resistance of the flexible cover is not reduced. Moreover, transparent organic matter is filled in the groove of the first surface of the folding area, so that the folding performance of the flexible cover plate can be improved.
In an embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 2, further includes an optical compensation layer 12; the optical compensation layer 12 is arranged on the side of the transparent organic layer 11 away from the second surface Y of the folding area; the second face Y of the folded region is opposite to the first face X of the folded region.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the side of the transparent organic material 11 away from the glass layer of the folding area is flush with the first side X of the non-folding area, and then the optical compensation layer 12 is disposed to protrude from the first side X.
In the embodiment of the invention, after the groove is filled with the transparent organic matter, the refractive indexes of the folding area and the non-folding area are different, so that the refractive indexes of the folding area and the non-folding area can be kept consistent after the optical compensation layer is arranged in the folding area.
In the embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 2, a planarization layer 21 is further included; the planarization layer 21 is disposed on the first surface X of the flexible cover plate and disposed on both sides of the optical compensation layer 12, and is used for planarizing the first surface X of the flexible cover plate.
When the optical compensation layer 12 protrudes from the first surface X of the flexible cover plate, planarization layers are required to be disposed on two sides of the optical compensation layer 12 to ensure the planarization of the first surface X of the flexible cover plate.
In the embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 3, the optical compensation layer 12 may also be disposed in the groove, so that the side of the optical compensation layer 12 away from the transparent organic material 11 is flush with the first side X of the non-folding area 20, and at this time, the first side X of the flexible cover plate may also be planarized without disposing a planarization layer.
In the embodiment of the invention, the groove is not etched through, and the depth of the groove can be selected according to actual needs.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the width W1 of the groove is less than or equal to the width W2 of the folding region.
The groove can be as wide as the folding area or smaller than the folding area, and can be selected according to actual conditions.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the transparent organic material includes: polycarbonate (PC), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), or polyethylene terephthalate (PET).
In the embodiment of the present invention, referring to fig. 4, an effect of the flexible cover plate provided in the embodiment of the present invention after being folded is shown, and it can be seen that the folding effect of the flexible panel provided in the embodiment of the present invention is better, and the touch effect is not affected on the touch surface.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the material of the optical compensation layer includes: polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyimide or polyethylene.
In the embodiment of the invention, the planarization layer is a transparent organic film layer; the transparent organic film layer is made of the following materials: polyethylene terephthalate or transparent polyimide or polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate.
Referring to fig. 5, a further aspect of the present invention is to provide a display panel, including: a display module 30 and a flexible cover plate as described in any of the above; the first surface X of the folding area faces the display module 30.
In the embodiment of the invention, the transparent organic matter in the folding area is arranged towards the display module. The second surface of the folding area is a touch surface.
The embodiment of the invention provides a flexible cover plate, which comprises: the folding device comprises a folding area and non-folding areas arranged on two sides of the folding area; the folded regions and the unfolded regions are arranged in a first direction; a groove is formed in the first face of the folding area, the groove extends along a second direction, the depth of the groove is smaller than the thickness of the non-folding area, and the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction; and the groove is filled with a transparent organic material layer. According to the flexible cover plate provided by the embodiment of the invention, the groove is formed in the first surface of the folding area, and the transparent organic matter is filled in the groove, so that the flexibility of the flexible cover plate can be increased, the flexible cover plate is easier to bend, the second surface of the flexible cover plate is ensured to be made of the original material, and the touch feeling and the scraping resistance of the flexible cover plate are not influenced.
Example two
Referring to fig. 6, a flowchart illustrating steps of a method for manufacturing a flexible cover according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, where the method is applied to the flexible cover according to any one of the embodiments, and the method specifically includes:
202, etching a groove on the first surface of the folding area along a second direction to enable the depth of the groove to be smaller than the thickness of the non-folding area, wherein the second direction is vertical to the first direction;
and 203, filling transparent organic matters in the groove, and flattening the transparent organic matters.
In the embodiment of the invention, a groove which is not etched through is etched in the folding area on the flexible cover glass, and transparent organic matters are injected into the groove.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the grooves are filled with the transparent organic material, the transparent organic material can be directly planarized, so as to obtain the flexible cover plate shown in fig. 1.
Among them, in the embodiment of the present invention, further include: and forming an optical compensation layer on one side of the transparent object layer, which is far away from the second surface of the folding area, and forming planarization layers on two sides of the optical compensation layer to obtain the flexible cover plate shown in fig. 2.
Or, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the transparent organic material is prepared, the thickness of the transparent organic material is smaller than the depth of the groove, the optical compensation layer is prepared in the groove, and then the surface of the optical compensation layer away from the transparent organic material is planarized, so as to obtain the flexible cover plate shown in fig. 3.
The embodiment of the invention provides a preparation method of a flexible cover plate, which comprises the following steps: providing a flexible cover glass; the flexible cover glass includes: the folding device comprises a folding area and non-folding areas arranged on two sides of the folding area; the folded regions and the unfolded regions are arranged in a first direction; etching a groove on the first surface of the folding area along a second direction to enable the depth of the groove to be smaller than the thickness of the non-folding area, wherein the second direction is vertical to the first direction; and filling transparent organic matters in the groove, and carrying out planarization treatment on the transparent organic matters. According to the flexible cover plate prepared by the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the groove is formed in the first surface of the folding area, and the transparent organic matter is filled in the groove, so that the flexibility of the flexible cover plate can be increased, the flexible cover plate is easier to bend, the second surface of the flexible cover plate is ensured to be made of the original material, and the touch feeling and the scraping resistance of the flexible cover plate are not influenced.

further comprising an optical compensation layer; the optical compensation layer is arranged on one side of the transparent organic layer, which is far away from the second surface of the folding area; the second face of the fold region is opposite the first face of the fold region; the optical compensation layer keeps the refractive indexes of the folding region and the non-folding region consistent;
further comprising a planarization layer; the planarization layer is arranged on the first surface of the flexible cover plate, arranged on two sides of the optical compensation layer and used for planarizing the first surface of the flexible cover plate;
the width of the groove is equal to the width of the folding area.
2. The flexible cover sheet of claim 1, wherein the thickness of the flexible cover sheet at the fold region at the bottom of the groove is 50-100 μm.
3. The flexible cover sheet of claim 1, wherein the transparent organic includes: any one of polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, or polyethylene terephthalate.
4. The flexible cover sheet of claim 1, wherein the optical compensation layer comprises: one of polyethylene terephthalate, polyimide or polyethylene.
5. A display panel, comprising: a display module and a flexible cover plate according to any one of claims 1-4;
the first face orientation in folding district the display module assembly.
6. A method for preparing a flexible cover sheet, which is applied to the flexible cover sheet of any one of claims 1 to 4, comprising:
providing a flexible cover glass; the flexible cover glass includes: the folding area and the non-folding area are arranged on two sides of the folding area; the folded region and the non-folded region are arranged along a first direction;
etching a groove on the first surface of the folding area along a second direction to enable the depth of the groove to be smaller than the thickness of the non-folding area, wherein the second direction is vertical to the first direction;
and filling transparent organic matters into the groove, and carrying out planarization treatment on the transparent organic matters.
