The invention provides a method for butting a tower crane hook and a hanging object by utilizing ultraviolet detection, which is characterized in that an ultraviolet lamp is arranged at the top of the hanging object, a multi-angle ultraviolet detector arranged below the tower crane hook transmits sensed ultraviolet light source information to a computer, the computer calculates a purple light position point and displays the purple light position point on a display screen in a tower crane cab, and an operator carries out hoisting operation according to the information on the display screen. The invention utilizes the ultraviolet lamp and the multi-angle ultraviolet detector to realize the butt joint of the tower crane lifting hook and the hanging object, compared with the traditional method using the tower crane signal worker to command, the invention avoids the problem that the operating personnel can not find the hanging object due to the visual field blind area, lightens the workload of the tower crane signal worker, and simultaneously provides reference for the falling distance of the tower crane lifting hook because the distance sensor can detect the distance between the multi-angle ultraviolet detector and the hanging object in real time, so that the tower crane lifting hook can be directly parked at a proper position, and the working efficiency is improved.
