The invention discloses a single-station automatic welding system for symmetrical workpieces, which comprises a clamp for fixing workpieces, a welding mechanism for welding the workpieces, a carrying trolley, a pair of guide posts and a pair of guide rails, wherein the clamp is arranged above the carrying trolley; the conveying mechanism comprises a driving mechanism connected with the carrying trolley and a conveying track arranged on one side of the welding mechanism; the conveying track is provided with a steering mechanism positioned on the front side of the welding mechanism, and the steering mechanism interacts with the guide rod to enable the carrying trolley and the clamp on the carrying trolley to steer for 180 degrees. Normally, the welding mechanism 2 is arranged on the outer side of the annular conveying track, the semicircular steering track 7.1 is arranged on the inner area of the annular conveying track opposite to the welding mechanism 2, and the joint of the annular through hole 5 of the conveying track and the semicircular steering track 7.1 is used as a feeding and blanking station of the carrying trolley 3.
