Background
With the continuous development of display technologies, various display technologies emerge endlessly, and since the size of a single display screen is limited, the split screen technology is developed to realize the display of an oversized picture. The spliced screen is formed by splicing two or more display screens together to form a large spliced display screen, each display screen displays one part of one image, the display screens arranged in a matrix display one image with a large area together, and different images can also be displayed in a split screen mode; the spliced screen is widely applied to the fields of security protection, monitoring, medical treatment, broadcast television, advertising media and the like.
At present, the problem of poor portability is also brought by a large spliced display screen, so that a folding screen becomes the first choice of a large screen, such as a two-screen folding mobile phone of a Chinese popular celestial phone series. The invention aims to provide a spliced foldable display screen to solve the technical problems that the portability of spliced screens is poor, the display effect is poor and the user experience is influenced due to the fact that obvious dividing lines exist at spliced positions in the prior art.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a splicing type foldable display screen, which includes a first screen and a second screen; the first screen comprises a first display area and a bending area, and is arranged at the edge of one side of the first display area; the second screen comprises a second display area and a covered area, and the edge of one side of the second display area is arranged; wherein, a bending area of a first screen is bent and then is attached to the surface of a covered area of a second screen; the first display area and the second display area are spliced into a whole.

As shown in fig. 1, this embodiment provides a splicing-type foldable display screen, which includes a first screen 1 and a second screen 2, where the first screen 1 is a flexible display screen and is bendable, such as a foldable OLED screen. The second screen 2 is a rigid display screen, such as a rigid liquid crystal display screen or a rigid OLED display screen.
As shown in fig. 2, the first screen 1 includes a first display area 11 and a first non-display area 13, the first non-display area 13 surrounds the first display area 11, the first display area 11 is preferably rectangular, and the first non-display area 13 is a rectangular ring including four sides. The first screen 1 further includes a bending region 12 disposed at an edge of one side of the first display region 11. The first non-display area 13 on one side of the first screen 1, i.e., one side of the rectangular ring, is located in the bending area 12.
As shown in conjunction with fig. 1 and 3, the second screen 2 includes a second display area 21, an covered area 22, and a second non-display area 23. Wherein the covered area 22 is disposed at an edge of one side of the second display area 21. Wherein, a bending region 12 is attached to the surface of a covered region 22 after being bent; the first display area 11 and the second display area 21 are spliced into a whole. The second non-display area 23 surrounds the second display area 21, and the second non-display area 23 at one side of the second screen 2 is located within the covered area 22.
A bending line 100 is disposed in the first display region 11, near a side of the first non-display region 13, and a region from the bending line 100 to an outer side edge of the first non-display region 13 is a bending region 12. As can be seen from the figure, the width of the first non-display area 13 is smaller than that of the bending area 12, so that it can be ensured that no black boundary appears when the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 are displayed together, and the first screen and the second screen are seamlessly spliced. In the present embodiment, the width of the bending region 12 is 0.5mm to 10mm, preferably 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.8 mm.
As shown in fig. 3, the pair of bit lines 200 are disposed in the second display region 21 near a side of the second non-display region 23, and a region from the pair of bit lines 200 to an outer edge of the second non-display region 23 is the covered region 22. When a bending region 12 is bent and attached to the surface of a covered region 22, the bending line 100 and the alignment line 200 are overlapped with each other, so as to achieve precise alignment. As can be seen from the figure, the second non-display area 23 is smaller than the covered area 22, so that the bending area 12 can be ensured to be completely covered by the covered area 22, a black boundary is prevented from appearing when the first screen and the second screen are displayed together, a seamless splicing effect is achieved, and the viewing experience of a user is improved. In the present embodiment, the width of the covered region 22 is 0.5mm to 10mm, preferably 0.6mm, 0.7mm, 0.8 mm.
Further, when the first display area 11 and the second display area 21 are spliced into a whole, referring to fig. 1, the first display area 11 and the second display area 21 are butted with each other to form a large-area display screen, and the butt joint is flat and the whole display screen is seamless. When the first display area 11 and the second display area 21 together display an image with a large area, the display effect is good, and the picture is stable and reliable. For example, a user can use the spliced foldable display screen to watch movies and televisions, and the effect of large-screen display is achieved. When the first display area 11 and the second display area 21 are displayed in different areas, a user can input different instructions in the first display area 11 and the second display area 21, so that different operations are realized in the first display area and the second display area, and user experience is improved. For example, a user may reply to a message using the second display area while browsing a web page using the first display area.
As shown in fig. 4-5, the foldable display screen of the splicing type further comprises a folding device 3. The folding device 3 can be used to fold the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 facing each other, and protect the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 from being damaged when external force is applied. The folding device 3 can also be used for splicing the first screen 1 and the second screen 2, so that the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 jointly form a large display screen, the display interface of the screens can be effectively increased, and a large-area image can be displayed. In addition, the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 may also display different images in a split screen mode, or realize different operations in a split screen mode. The folding device 3 can also be used for mutually folding the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 in a back direction, is particularly suitable for being used by a user in a call, is convenient for the user to hold tightly and avoid dropping, and in addition, when the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 are mutually folded in a back direction, the user can select one screen to operate, so that the power supply of the spliced foldable display screen is saved.
Specifically, the folding device 3 includes a first portion 31 and a second portion 32 that are rotatable relative to each other. The first screen 1 can be attached to the first portion 31 in a sliding manner, the second screen 2 can be attached to the second portion 32 in a sliding manner, and the first portion 31 and the second portion 32 can be opened and closed in a 360-degree rotating manner relatively. The attaching height of the second screen 2 is lower than that of the first screen 1, so that the bending area 12 is completely covered by the covering area 22, and the seamless splicing effect is realized. In the present embodiment, the folding device 3 is preferably a bearing hinge, but is not limited thereto.
Further, when the first screen 1 slidably extends to the second screen 2 through the folding device 3, the first display area 11 and the second display area 21 are spliced into a whole, referring to fig. 1, the whole is seamless, the bending area 12 is completely covered by the covering area 22, so that the first screen and the second screen cannot have a black boundary when being displayed together, the seamless splicing effect is realized, the display effect is good, the continuity and the integrity of the picture are ensured, and the viewing experience of a user is improved. In this embodiment, the user can fold the first screen 1 and the second screen 2 by the folding device 3, thereby reducing the overall occupied space of the display screen.
