Abstract

The invention discloses a method for hibernation and overwintering of a broad tropical water lily, which comprises the steps of digging the roots of a broad tropical water lily plant from soil, planting the roots of the dug broad tropical water lily plant in a flowerpot A, and keeping the rest parts of the broad tropical water lily plant still in the original growing environment; when the diameter of a leaf area floating on the water surface is reduced by 10-40 cm, the roots of the broad tropical water lily plants are taken out and planted in flowerpots with reduced volumes until the leaves on the water surface disappear. According to the invention, the growth environment and growth space of the roots of the broad tropical water lily plants are changed, the growth of the roots is weakened, so that the nutrient supply from the roots to the stems and leaves of the flowers is weakened, and the stems and leaves of the flowers transmit nutrients to the roots along with the weakening of the growth of the roots, so that the roots form dormancy balls to protect tissues, store nutrients, and differentiate multiple lateral buds to proliferate, thus the cold resistance is improved, and the survival rate of the broad tropical water lily is greatly improved.

Description

Method for hibernation and overwintering of broad tropical water lily
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of agricultural planting, and particularly relates to a method for hibernation and overwintering of a broad tropical water lily.
Background
Drowsiness is a general name for the Nymphaeaceae genus TV/fflpAaea plant. Perennial aquatic herb, flowers and leaves are abundant, have abundant flower blossoms, have long flowering periods and are highly ornamental, and the roots of drowsiness absorb toxic substances such as lead, mercury, phenol and the like in water, which are difficult water purification plants, and have some medicinal value. Drowsiness is mainly distributed in subtropical, temperate regions. As drowsiness grows, flowers and leaves float on the water surface, the stem is located in the water, and the root is located in the soil under water.
The water lily with the broad tropics belongs to a subgenus of the water lily, roots of the water lily with the broad tropics which is directly planted in soil in an open air environment are developed to form underground fleshy rhizomes, nutrition of the water lily with the broad tropics is mainly conveyed from roots to flower stem and leaves, the flower stem and leaves grow vigorously, and when the water lily with the broad tropics meets adverse circumstances, such as cold weather in winter, the water lily with the broad tropics cannot sleep to form protective tissues, so that the water lily with the broad tropics is often killed by freezing injury. Therefore, how to avoid the death of the broad-tropical water lily caused by the freezing injury is realized, and the improvement of the overwintering survival rate of the broad-tropical water lily is very important for the propagation of the broad-tropical water lily.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a method for hibernation and overwintering of a tropical water lily, which improves the overwintering survival rate of the tropical water lily.
The technical scheme of the invention is as follows: a method for hibernation and overwintering of the broad tropical water lily comprises the following steps:
(1) digging out the roots of the wide tropical water lily plants growing in the open air from soil, keeping the rest parts of the wide tropical water lily plants still in the original growing environment, and then planting the duout roots of the wide tropical water lily plants in a flowerpot A filled with a culture medium;
(2) when the diameter of a leaf area floating on the water surface is reduced by 10-40 cm, the roots of the broad tropical water lily plants are taken out and planted in flowerpots which are reduced in volume and contain culture bases, the flowerpot is changed until the leaves on the water surface disappear, and the roots are stopped being taken out to change the flowerpots.
In the present invention, the number of times of changing the flowerpot in the step (2) is changed according to the diameter of the leaf area floating on the water surface, and preferably, in the step (2), the flowerpot changing operation is performed at least twice.
Preferably, when the plants are planted in the flowerpot A in the step (1), the diameter of the leaf area of the broad tropical water lily plants is 100-120 cm.
Preferably, in the step (2), when the diameter of the leaf area floating on the water surface is 70-80 cm, taking out the roots of the broad tropical water lily plants from the flowerpot A, and carrying out the first flowerpot replacement operation; when the diameter of the leaf area floating on the water surface is 50-60 cm, carrying out the second flowerpot replacement operation; when the diameter of the leaf area floating on the water surface is 40-50 cm, carrying out the third flowerpot replacement operation; and when the diameter of the leaf area floating on the water surface is 20-30 cm, carrying out the fourth flowerpot replacement operation. The flowerpot is changed for four times, so that the roots are sequentially shrunk and reduced, and finally a dormant ball for storing nutrients is formed to protect tissues for overwintering storage.
Preferably, the diameter of the flowerpot A is 35cm, and the height of the flowerpot A is 30 cm.
Preferably, in the step (2), two flowerpot replacement operations are performed, the replaced flowerpots are a flowerpot B and a flowerpot C respectively, the diameter of the flowerpot B is 30cm, and the height of the flowerpot B is 25 cm.
Preferably, the diameter of the flowerpot C is 20cm, and the height of the flowerpot C is 18 cm.
Preferably, the flowerpot A is filled with a culture medium, and the culture medium is formed by mixing yellow mud, sand and peat. According to the invention, the roots originally planted in soil are taken out and planted in the flowerpot A, so that the culture medium for supplying nutrition to the roots is changed, the growth environment of the roots is changed, the growth of the wide tropical water lily plants is changed, and the effect of controlling the growth of the roots is achieved while supplying nutrition components to the wide tropical water lily plants.
Preferably, the mass ratio of the yellow mud, the sandy soil and the peat is 2: 1: 1.
preferably, the culture medium filled in the flowerpot replaced in the step (2) is soil.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
according to the invention, a broad-hot-zone water lily plant with a developed root system and vigorous growth vigor of flower stems and leaves can be selected and kept in the original growth environment, namely, the flower leaves are kept on the water surface of the original environment, the stem part is kept in the water, the root part under the water surface is dug out and planted in the flowerpot A, namely, the root part grows in a pot culture mode, after the growth environment of the root part is changed, compared with the original growth environment, the pot culture mode reduces the growth space of the root part, the root part growth control effect can be achieved, and after the growth contraction of the root part is reduced, the nutrient supply of the root part to the flower stem and leaf part can be reduced. In addition, in the invention, after the diameter of the blade area floating on the water surface is reduced, the root part is dug out from the flowerpot A and planted in the flowerpot with the volume smaller than that of the flowerpot A, the blade area is continuously changed into the flowerpot with the smaller volume along with the gradual reduction of the blade area, the growth space of the root part is further reduced, the root part is further shrunk and reduced, and a dormancy ball is formed, the nutrient at the root part cannot continuously supply nutrient to the flower stem and leaf at the upper part of the plant, and the nutrient is converted into the flower stem and leaf at the upper part to supply nutrient to the root at the lower part of the plant. And (3) continuously supplying nutrients to roots along with the stems and leaves of the flowers, gradually eliminating the stems and leaves of the flowers at the upper part, and finally stopping changing the pot, so that the roots are subjected to overwintering storage in the last flowerpot, dormant balls are formed at the roots in the last flowerpot to protect tissues, a plurality of side buds are differentiated to proliferate, the nutrients are stored, the cold resistance is improved, and the survival rate of the broad-tropics nymphaea is greatly improved.
