Description

Method and device for recording banner video through vertical screen
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of video shooting, in particular to a method and a device for recording banner videos through a vertical screen.
Background
At present, because of the installation angle of the camera, the video shot by the mobile phone terminal is erected when the mobile phone is transverse, and the video images stored in the file are also erected. But somewhat different in vertical screen video capture.
(1) Horizontal screen shooting condition:
the images photographed by the transverse screen, displayed and saved are banner images. Taking 720P resolution as an example, the resolution of images displayed and saved to the file by the mobile phone in real time is 1280×720.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a scene shot by a mobile phone cross screen displayed in a mobile phone screen, and fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a scene shot by a mobile phone cross screen displayed in other display devices. As can be seen from a comparison of fig. 1 and fig. 2, when the mobile phone is used for shooting a horizontal screen, two short sides of the image are respectively located at the left side and the right side of the image, and two long sides of the image are respectively located at the upper side and the lower side of the image, which is exactly the same as the display mode of other common display devices, so that the display effect of a scene shot by the mobile phone horizontal screen on the mobile phone is the same as the display effect of the scene shot by the other display devices.
(2) Scene photographed by vertical screen:
taking the resolution of 720P as an example, when taking a vertical screen, the native image acquired by the mobile phone camera is a native banner image (1280×720), and the image stored in the video file is also a banner image (resolution 1280×720), but the image is not positive.
As shown in fig. 3, the camera of the mobile phone adopts a primary banner image, but the mobile phone is placed vertically, so that a cup in the image can be seen to be square on a desktop. In practice, however, since the cell phone camera uses a native banner image, the image should be as shown in fig. 4 from the perspective of the native banner image. Fig. 5 is a schematic diagram of a scene shot by the vertical screen of the mobile phone shown in fig. 3 displayed in other display devices. As can be seen from fig. 3, 4 and 5, when the mobile phone is previewed on the screen in real time, since the mobile phone is viewed by using the vertical screen, the image rotates to be a vertical image (720×1280), and the image seen on the mobile phone is positive (the cup is on the desktop), but when the image is displayed on other display devices, an inverted image (as shown in fig. 5) is seen, and the image is 90 degrees different from the image in fig. 3.
Because the mobile phone is held by hand, the shooting is very handy with one hand, and the shooting mode can lead the mobile phone user to play back images on other display devices after the shooting with the vertical screen, the images are inverted images as shown in fig. 5 instead of upright images, so that poor experience is caused to the user in playing back the images.
In the prior art, on one hand, the user holds the mobile phone to shoot with one hand and shoots with a vertical screen most comfortably, but the result is that the video images played back on other display devices are reversed. Therefore, the prior art cannot meet the comfort of mobile phone video shooting and the good experience of playback at the same time.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be further described in detail below by referring to the accompanying drawings and examples.
As shown in fig. 6, a method for recording a banner video on a vertical screen provided by an embodiment of the present invention includes:
step 1, after receiving an instruction of recording a banner video by a vertical screen, enabling a camera to output a vertical image video;
and 2, rotating the vertical image video output by the camera into a horizontal image video for storage and/or transmission.
In a specific embodiment, the camera is a camera of a mobile terminal, and the vertical screen recording is performed by adopting a mode of placing a vertical screen of the mobile terminal.
In the embodiment of the invention, the vertical screen recording means that two long sides of the mobile terminal screen are respectively arranged in the left and right side directions relative to a photographer (user), and two short sides of the mobile terminal screen are respectively arranged in the upper and lower side directions relative to the photographer for video recording.
The banner image video refers to an image video with a width larger than a height, that is, two short sides of an image are respectively located at left and right sides of the image, and two long sides of the image are respectively located at upper and lower sides of the image, for example, image videos with resolution of 1920×1080, 1280×720, 720×480, 640×480, 320×240, etc.; vertical image video refers to image video having a width smaller than a height, that is, two long sides of an image are located on the left and right sides of the image, and two short sides of the image are located on the upper and lower sides of the image, for example, image video having resolutions of 1080×1920, 720×1280, 480×720, 480×640, 240×320, and the like.
In the prior art, regardless of the placement mode of the mobile terminal, the camera outputs the banner image, for example, the banner images with the resolutions of 1280×720, 1920×1080, 2560×1440 and the like are also used for storage and/or transmission during storage and/or transmission.
For an explanation of the banner image, please refer to fig. 9. Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of an image acquisition unit of a camera acquiring a banner image. In a specific embodiment, when the mobile terminal is held laterally, the orientation of the image capturing unit of the camera of the mobile terminal is as shown in fig. 9, where the orientation of the image capturing unit is noted by pointing in the x-axis (rightward) and the y-axis (upward), and fig. 9 shows the image capturing unit as placed laterally. In the embodiment of the invention, the banner image refers to an image video which is imaged on the image acquisition unit and has a width larger than a height relative to the image acquisition unit. The embodiment of the invention is mainly used for photos and/or videos shot by the mobile terminal.
Further, in one embodiment, the instruction to record the banner video on the vertical screen is received by a Camera Service (Camera Service) in the mobile terminal.
Further, in step 1, the enabling the camera to output the vertical image video specifically includes:
the Camera service sends a command for recording the vertical image video to a Camera of the mobile terminal, and the Camera of the mobile terminal outputs the vertical image video after receiving the command for recording the vertical image video.
The method for recording the banner video on the vertical screen is described in a supplementary manner in connection with the mobile terminal example.
Step a1, a user holds the mobile terminal and enters a video recording application.
In video recording applications, an option or button is provided for "vertical screen record banner video". The recording of the banner video by the vertical screen means that the mobile terminal keeps a vertical screen state (i.e., for a user, two long sides of the mobile terminal screen are respectively located at the left side and the right side, and two short sides of the mobile terminal screen are respectively located at the upper side and the lower side), and the recording of the banner video (i.e., for a user, two short sides of the video are respectively located at the left side and the right side, and two long sides of the video are respectively located at the upper side and the lower side).
Step a2, the user selects an option or button of 'vertical screen recording banner video', so as to send an instruction of vertical screen recording banner video from a video recording application (upper layer application) to the Camera service.
The video recording application (upper application) is associated to the Camera service by utilizing the related interface of the Camera service, so that the interaction between the video recording application and the Camera service can be realized, for example, an instruction for recording a banner video on a vertical screen is sent from the video recording application to the Camera service.
And a step a3, after receiving an instruction of recording the banner video by the vertical screen, the Camera service informs Camera hardware to output the vertical image video.
In some embodiments, the Camera hardware outputs the vertical frame image video at a resolution of, for example, 720×1280, 1080×1920, 1440×2560, etc. (instead of 1280×720, 1920×1080, 2560×1440, etc.).
As shown in fig. 7, the effect of the vertical image video output by the Camera hardware (Camera) is to be noted, and the effect of the vertical image video output by the Camera hardware shown in fig. 7 is not the actual shooting effect seen by the user at the screen end of the mobile terminal. Since the Camera hardware outputs the vertical image video and the mobile terminal screen is in a banner image display form, the vertical image video cannot be directly displayed on the mobile terminal screen, and therefore, if the content of the vertical image video output by the Camera hardware is to be displayed in the banner image form of the mobile terminal screen, corresponding processing, such as zooming operation or rotating operation, needs to be performed on the vertical image video output by the Camera hardware. In the prior art, the Camera hardware outputs a banner image video, and the mobile terminal screen is also in a banner image display form, so that the image output by the Camera hardware is consistent with the image displayed by the mobile terminal screen, and the image output by the Camera hardware in the prior art can be directly displayed on the mobile terminal screen without processing the image output by the Camera hardware. Fig. 7 shows only the effect of the vertical image video output by the Camera hardware, and is not the actual shooting effect seen by the user at the screen end of the mobile terminal.
For an explanation of the vertical image, please refer to fig. 10. Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram of an image acquisition unit of a camera acquiring a vertical image. In a specific embodiment, when the mobile terminal is held vertically, the orientation of the image capturing unit of the camera of the mobile terminal is as shown in fig. 10, and compared with the mobile terminal held horizontally in fig. 9, the x axis is changed from right to downward, the y axis is changed from upward to right, that is, when the mobile terminal is held vertically, the orientation of the image capturing unit is changed to the orientation shown in fig. 10, and fig. 10 shows that the image capturing unit is placed vertically. In the embodiment of the invention, the vertical image refers to an image video which is imaged on the image acquisition unit and has a width larger than a height relative to the image acquisition unit.
And a step a4, rotating the vertical image video output by the Camera hardware by 90 degrees into a banner video for storage and/or transmission.
In some embodiments, if the resolution of the Camera hardware output vertical image video is 720×1280, the resolution of the 90-degree rotated banner video is 1280×720, if the resolution of the Camera hardware output vertical image video is 1080×1920, the resolution of the 90-degree rotated banner video is 1920×1080, and if the resolution of the Camera hardware output vertical image video is 1440×2560, the resolution of the 90-degree rotated banner video is 2560×1440. The spirit according to these embodiments may be generalized to various resolution transformations, which are not described here in detail.
And a step a5, outputting the stored banner video to other display equipment for banner playing.
After the steps a1 to a5, the display effect of the stored and/or transmitted banner video on other display devices is the same as the effect of fig. 2. Therefore, the purpose that a user holds the mobile terminal by one hand to shoot the vertical screen to obtain the banner image is achieved.
As shown in fig. 8, the embodiment of the invention further provides a device for recording banner videos by using a vertical screen, which comprises an instruction receiving unit 1, a camera 2 and a video conversion unit 3. The instruction receiving unit 1 is used for receiving an instruction of recording banner videos on a vertical screen. The camera 2 is used for outputting a vertical image video after the command receiving unit 1 receives a command of recording a banner video by a vertical screen. The video conversion unit 3 is configured to rotate the vertical-image video output from the camera 2 into a horizontal-image video.
Further, the device for recording the banner video by the vertical screen in the embodiment of the invention further comprises a storage unit 4, wherein the storage unit 4 is used for storing the banner image video.
Further, the device for recording the banner video by the vertical screen in the embodiment of the invention further comprises a transmission unit 5, wherein the transmission unit 5 is used for transmitting the banner image video.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the storage unit 4 and the transmission unit 5 may work together to store and transmit the video of the banner image, or alternatively may work to store or transmit the video of the banner image.
The banner image video is characterized in that two short sides of an image are respectively positioned at the left side and the right side of the image, and two long sides of the image are respectively positioned at the upper side and the lower side of the image; the vertical image video means that two long sides of the image are respectively positioned at the left side and the right side of the image and two short sides of the image are respectively positioned at the upper side and the lower side of the image.
In a specific embodiment, the camera is a camera of a mobile terminal.
According to the method and the device for recording the banner video through the vertical screen, the video of the vertical screen is output by the camera (without outputting the original banner video), and then the video of the vertical screen output by the camera is rotated into the banner video for storage, wherein the banner video is displayed by other display equipment. Therefore, the requirements of the mobile terminal on comfort and good playback experience of handheld vertical screen shooting are met.
The foregoing description of the preferred embodiments of the invention is not intended to be limiting, but rather to enable any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement or the like to be made within the spirit and principles of the invention.
