Description

Cover fitting for pivotably attaching a cover to a furniture body
Technical Field
The invention relates to a cover fitting for pivotably attaching a cover to a furniture carcass, wherein the cover fitting has: a base element for mounting the cover fitting to a side wall of a furniture body; a pivot arm pivotally attached to the base element; and a connecting arrangement with at least two connecting elements for pivotably connecting the pivot arm to the cover part, wherein one connecting element is pivotably connected to the pivot arm, and wherein the one connecting element is connected to the other connecting element in the mounted state of the cover part fitting and is intended and adapted to be attached to the cover part. One connecting element has a guide portion and a head portion, wherein the other connecting element has a guide groove with which it is pushed onto the guide portion in the mounting direction in the mounted state of the cover fitting and engages behind the head portion in a direction transverse to the mounting direction. Further, the cover fitting includes: a fixing device by means of which the connecting elements are fixed to one another in the mounted state of the cover fitting, wherein the fixing device has a fixing element which is connected to the one connecting element having the guide groove, and wherein the fixing element is fixed on the fastening element in the mounted state of the cover fitting to prevent displacement in and against the mounting direction.
Background
Such a cover fitting is known, for example, from JP 2003-. In this case, the fastening element is a screw which is screwed into the angled (inclined) bracket of the one connecting element having the guide groove. The screw head bears on another angled (inclined) bracket connected to the track of the one connecting element having the leading portion and the head portion. The two connecting elements are fixed to each other by screwing screws into the inclined bracket in the mounting direction.
EP 2354404B 1 describes another fitting for a cap. The pivot-arm-side connecting element of the connecting arrangement can be connected without tools with the cover-side connecting element of the connecting arrangement by means of a snap connection. The height position, the lateral position, the inclination (degree) of the cover part relative to the furniture body can be adjusted by means of a plurality of adjustment screws on the pivot-arm-side connecting element.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to provide a simply constructed cover fitting which makes it possible to fix the components quickly and simply.
This object is achieved by a cover fitting for pivotably attaching a cover to a furniture body, wherein the cover fitting has: a base element for attaching the cover fitting to a side wall of a furniture body; a pivot arm pivotally attached to the base element; and a connecting arrangement with at least two connecting elements for pivotably connecting the pivot arm to the cover part, wherein, in the mounted state of the cover part fitting, one of the connecting elements (first connecting element) is pivotably connected to the pivot arm and the other of the connecting elements (second connecting element) is connected to the other connecting element (first connecting element) and is intended and adapted to be attached to the cover part. One of the connecting elements has a guide portion and a head portion, wherein the other of the connecting elements has a guide groove with which it is pushed onto the guide portion in the mounting direction in the mounted state of the cover fitting and engages behind the head portion in a direction transverse to the mounting direction. The one connecting element with the guide portion and the head portion serves as the fastening element of the fixing device. The fastening element has a fastening recess in which the head part engages in the mounted state of the cover fitting.
A particularly simple mounting is ensured due to the fact that the connecting element with the guide groove is formed such that it is pushed onto the other connecting element. Furthermore, in the mounted state, the connecting elements are fixed to one another in a simple manner.
Due to the fact that the fixing device has a fastening element and a fixing element, wherein the fixing element is fixed on the fastening element in the mounted state of the cover fitting to prevent displacement in and against the mounting direction, a simple means of fixing the connecting elements to each other is provided.
Due to the fact that the one connecting element with the guide portion and the head portion serves as a fastening element, the fixing of the connecting element is achieved by means of a very simply constructed device without having to provide a plurality of further elements.
Preferably, the head portion is wider than the guide portion, as seen in the mounting direction, so that it is ensured by simple means that the connecting element with the guide groove engages behind the head portion and is thus held transversely to the mounting direction.
In one embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the connecting elements are fixed to one another in the mounted state of the cover fitting by means of fixing means, at least against displacement in the mounting direction M and counter to the mounting direction M.
In a possible combination in which the head portion is increased in width relative to the guide groove, it is thus ensured that the connecting elements are fixed to each other in all directions, i.e. in and against the mounting direction and transversely to the mounting direction.
In one embodiment, the fixing element may be a tab which is displaceable transversely to the mounting direction. In this case, the tab may be formed to be elastically displaceable. For example, the tab may be made of a resiliently deformable material such as steel plate or plastic.
In order to achieve adjustability of the connecting elements relative to one another, whereby the cover part is adjustable relative to the furniture carcass, the securing element can be locked in a displaceable position on one of the connecting elements, for example in the mounting direction. One possibility for variable positioning of the fixing element consists in that the fixing element is attached to the connecting element by means of an adjustable eccentric element. The eccentric element can be rotated relative to the connecting element about a rotational axis, wherein the eccentric element is rotatably attached to the stationary element about an eccentric axis which extends parallel and at a distance from the rotational axis. By means of the lateral guidance of the fastening element, in particular in the region of the fastening recess, a linear displacement of the two connecting elements relative to one another is thus possible.
In a particular embodiment, the connecting element with the guide portion and the head portion is intended and adapted to be attached to the cover portion. Furthermore, a connecting element with a guide groove is pivotably connected to the pivot arm. In principle, it is also conceivable that the connecting element with the guide portion and the head portion is pivotably connected to the pivot arm, while the connecting element with the guide groove is intended and adapted to be attached to the cover portion.
In order to be able to attach the connecting element with the guide portion and the head portion to the cover portion, the connecting element may have an attachment portion with which the connecting element can be attached to the cover portion.
Furthermore, in one embodiment the cover fitting has a further connecting element with a guide part and a head part. Thus, two connecting elements with a guide portion and a head portion are provided, both of which can be attached to the cover portion or both of which can be pivotably connected to the pivot arm. Due to the fact that two connecting elements with a guide portion and a head portion are provided, which are arranged close to each other, it is ensured that a linear guide is achieved in the mounting direction when pushing the other connecting element. In this case, the connecting elements with the guide portion and the head portion may each be formed rotationally symmetrically with respect to an axis perpendicular to the mounting direction. They do not need to have a special shape to ensure a straight guidance of the other connecting element.
When two connecting elements with a guide section and a head section are provided, the connecting element with the guide groove has a further guide groove, with which it is pushed in the mounting direction onto the guide section of the further connecting element with the guide section and the head section in the mounted state of the cover fitting. Thus, for each connecting element with a guide portion and a head portion, a guide slot is provided.
In this case, the other guide groove may be formed like a keyhole and may have an expanded portion that is wider than the head portion of the connecting element to be accommodated and wider than the guide portion when viewed in the mounting direction.
Usually, even a single guiding groove can be provided, which is pushed onto the two connecting elements with the guiding portion and the head portion.
In one embodiment, the cover fitting has an indicator element which is resiliently displaced from a first position to a second position when at least two connecting elements are connected to each other. In this case, the indicator element may be formed on the fixing element, as a tab, in the shape of a resilient indicator tab. During installation from the first position into the second position, the indicator tab can be transferred by means of a further connecting element having a guide portion and a head portion. The indicator tab may have an indicator, for example, arranged in overlapping relation with the side wall in the first position, and protruding beyond an edge of the side wall in the second position.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 to 3 show the cover fitting 1 according to the invention in different views and are described together below.
The cover fitting 1 has a base element 2 which is attached to the furniture body 6 by means of attachment screws which are not shown. Thus, the base element 2 is fixed to the side wall 5 of the furniture body 6.
The pivot arm 7 is pivotally attached to the base element 2 about a first body axis K1. On the end remote from the first body axis K1, the pivot arm 7 is pivotally connected to the pivot arm-side connecting element 8 about a first cover axis D1. The first body axis K1 and the first cover axis D1 are spaced apart from each other and arranged parallel to each other.
The pivot arm side connecting element 8 is connected to a first cover side connecting element 9 and a second cover side connecting element 10, wherein the two cover side connecting elements 9, 10 are connected to a cover 11. All connecting elements 8, 9, 10 together form a connecting arrangement.
The cover 11 is only pivotably connected to the furniture body 6 by means of the cover fitting 1 or other similar cover fitting. No additional hinge is provided.
In order to ensure a defined sequence of movements of the cover part 11 relative to the furniture carcass 6, the cover fitting 1 has in the present embodiment a control arm 12 which is connected pivotably about a second carcass axis K2 to the base element 2 and which is connected pivotably about a second cover axis D2 to the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8. The second body axis K2 and the second cap axis D2 are arranged spaced apart from and parallel to each other and are arranged spaced apart from and parallel to the first body axis K1 and the first cap axis D1.
The pivot arm 7 and the control arm 12 thus form a parallelogram arrangement, which predefines a defined sequence of movements of the connection arrangement 8, 9, 10 and thus of the cover 11.
The cover 11 can be moved by means of the cover fitting 1 relative to the body 6 between an open position shown in fig. 1 and a closed position, wherein the cover 11 is arranged in an upright position in the closed position and closes the opening 26 of the furniture body 6.
The two cover- side connecting elements 9, 10 are identically formed. Thus, the first cover-side connecting member 9 shown on the left side of fig. 2 is representatively described.
The first cover-side connecting element 9 has a head portion 13, a guide portion 14 and an attachment portion 15, which are arranged one after the other along the longitudinal axis L of the first cover-side connecting element 9. The guide portion 14 is arranged between the head portion 13 and the attachment portion 15. The guide portion 14 has a circular cross section and has a smaller diameter than the head portion 13, which also forms the circular cross section.
The attachment portion 15 is formed in the shape of a threaded pin, which is screwed into the material of the cover portion 11.
Due to the small diameter of the guide portion 14 relative to the head portion 13, an undercut is formed.
The pivot-arm-side connecting member 8 is formed like a metal plate and has a first guide groove 16 and another second guide groove 17. The first guide groove 16 opens forward in the mounting direction M. The second guide groove 17 is inserted into the metal plate material of the pivot arm-side connecting member 8 in a closed manner. The second guide groove 17 has an expanded portion 18 at the front in the mounting direction M.
The two guide grooves 16, 17 have a width, when seen in the mounting direction M, which is adapted to the diameter of the guide portion 14 of the cover- side connecting element 9, 10 or slightly wider. Furthermore, the guide grooves 16, 17 are narrower than the head portions 13 of the cover- side connecting elements 9, 10 when viewed in the mounting direction M.
In order to ensure simple mounting of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 on the cover- side connecting elements 9, 10, the first guide groove 16 is, as already mentioned, open at the front in the mounting direction M. Further, the second guide groove 17 has an expanded portion 18 having a diameter larger than that of the head portion 13 of the second cover-side connecting element 10. Thus, the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 can be put on the cover- side connecting elements 9, 10, wherein the second cover-side connecting element 10 engages through the expanded portion 18 in the second guide groove 17, as can be seen from fig. 4 and 5. By displacing the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 in the mounting direction M, the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 is engaged behind the head portions 13 of the two cover- side connecting elements 9, 10.
In order to fix the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 to the two cover- side connecting elements 9, 10, a fixing device with a fixing element in the shape of a tab 19 is provided. The tab 19 is attached to the pivot arm side connecting element 8 by means of an eccentric element 20. For this purpose, the tab 19 has an attachment recess 21, in which attachment recess 21 an eccentric element 20 with an eccentric extension 22 rests. The attachment recess 21, and the eccentric extension 22 resting therein, are formed as a circular cross section, wherein the eccentric element 20 is rotatable in the attachment recess 21 about the rotation axis D.
A hole 23 is provided in the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8, in which hole the eccentric extension 22 of the eccentric element 20 engages and is rotatably riveted to the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8. The eccentric element 20 is rotatable relative to the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 about an eccentric axis E defined by the eccentric extension 22. The eccentric axis E is arranged parallel to the axis of rotation D at a distance.
For rotating the eccentric element 20, the eccentric element has a cross slot 24, so that the eccentric element 20 can be rotated by means of a screwdriver. By virtue of the eccentric arrangement of the eccentric extension 22 relative to the attachment recess 21, in this case, the attachment recess 21 about the eccentric axis E is eccentrically rotated (rolled), whereby the tab 19 is moved relative to the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8.
On the front end 27 of the tab 19 remote from the attachment recess 21, this tab 19 has a fixing recess 25 which accommodates the head portion 13 and the guide portion 14 of the first cover-side connecting element 9 serving as fastening elements. In this case, too, the fixing recess 25 is formed in a circular shape in cross section and serves to firmly hold the tab 19 on the first cover-side connecting element 9. Thus, the relative displacement of the pivot arm-side connecting member 8 with respect to the two cover- side connecting members 9, 10 is prevented, and the connecting members 8, 9, 10 are fixed to each other.
The cover-side connecting element 9 has guide walls 28, 29 extending parallel to the mounting direction M, between which the tabs 19 are received. When the eccentric element 20 is rotated, the front end 27 of the tab 19 is thus moved in the mounting direction M. In this way, the position of the pivot arm-side connecting element 8 relative to the first cover-side connecting element 9 and thus relative to the cover 11 can be adjusted linearly in and against the mounting direction.
In fig. 4 to 6, the tab 19 is shown in three different positions with respect to the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8. In fig. 4, the tab 19 is arranged at the uppermost position. In this case, the terms "top" and "bottom" refer to the cover 11 in the closed position and arranged vertically. In the uppermost position, the eccentric axis E is arranged closest to the second slot 17 and is thus in the uppermost position. When the hole 23 is arranged on the pivot arm side connection element 8, the axis of rotation D is laterally offset with respect to the central axis X for attaching the eccentric element 20 to the central axis X also laterally offset. The eccentric axis E is laterally offset by the same amount relative to the central axis X. This results in an inclined position of the central axis Y of the tab 19 relative to the central axis X of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8. Due to the transverse guidance of the tab 19 in the region of the front end 27 by the guide walls 28, 29, only a small or no transverse offset of the fastening recess 25 results.
In fig. 5, the tab 19 is shown in a central position. In this position, the axis of rotation is still arranged laterally offset with respect to the central axis X of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8, since the axis of rotation D is defined by the hole 23 in the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 and is thus positioned in a fixed manner. The eccentric axis E is arranged further downwards than the position of the uppermost part of the tab 19. The entire tab 19 is therefore arranged further downwards than in the uppermost position. Further, the eccentric axis E is arranged in a central position on the central axis X of the pivot arm side connecting element 8. Therefore, the center axis X of the pivot arm-side connecting element 8 and the center axis Y of the tab 19 are arranged on top of each other, and the tab 19 is arranged parallel to the pivot arm-side connecting element 8 without inclination. The eccentric axis E need not be in the central position of the tab 19 on the central axis X. In any case, it is arranged further down than in the uppermost position.
In the lowermost position of the tab 19, shown in fig. 6, the eccentric axis E is arranged in the lowermost position. In this position, the eccentric axis E is again arranged laterally offset relative to the central axis X of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8, wherein a tilting of the tab 19 relative to the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 is again achieved, which is comparable to the tilting according to fig. 4.
The assembly process can be seen in fig. 7 to 9. Before assembly, the tab 19 abuts flat against the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8. The cover- side connecting elements 9, 10 are attached to the cover 11. Then, the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 is arranged on the cover 11 with the flat attachment face 34 transverse to the mounting direction M and perpendicular to the plane of the cover. In this case, the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 is in a position in which the first cover-side connecting element 9 is arranged in front of the first guide groove 16, while the second cover-side connecting element 10 is aligned with the expanded portion 18 of the second guide groove 17. Thus, the second cover-side connecting element 10 projects (enters) into the expanded portion 18 of the second guide groove 17.
In this position, the fixing recess 25 of the tab 19 is not aligned with the first cover-side connecting element 9 serving as a fastening element, so that this tab is elastically deformed in the region of the fixing recess 25 and is lifted in this region of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8.
Then, the pivot arm-side connecting member 8 is displaced in the mounting direction M with respect to the two cover- side connecting members 9, 10 and with respect to the cover 11. In this case, the first cover-side connecting element 9 projects into the first guide groove 16. Further, the second cover-side connecting element 10 leaves the expanded portion 18 of the second guide groove 17 and projects (enters) into that region of the second guide groove 17, which is smaller in width than the head portion of the second cover-side connecting element 10 when viewed in the mounting direction M.
In the final position, the fixing recess 25 of the tab 19 is aligned with the first cover-side connecting element 9 serving as a fastening element, so that the tab 19 elastically returns and locks with the fixing recess 25 on the first cover-side connecting element 9. In this way, further displacement of the pivot arm side connecting element 8 relative to the first cover side connecting element 9 and thus relative to the cover 11 is prevented.
For the disassembly, the tab 19 is lifted off elastically, so that the fixing recess 25 releases the first cover-side connecting element 9 again, and a displacement of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 relative to the first cover-side connecting element 9 and thus relative to the cover 11 is again possible.
A compression spring, not visible here, is arranged in the pivot arm 7, which is supported on the one hand on the abutment 30 close to the first body axis K1 and on the other hand on the pressure element 31. The pressure element 31 is thus forced in the direction of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8, wherein the pressure element 31 has a rolling body 32, with which rolling body 32 the pressure element 31 bears against a setting contour 33 of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8.
The setting profile 33 has a varying distance to the first cover axis D1 in the circumferential direction around the first cover axis D1. In this case, the setting profile 33 is formed such that the pressure element 31 generates a torque across the maximum pivoting path of the cover part 11 or the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8, which forces the cover part 11 to be biased in the direction toward the open position. In a region between the intermediate position between the open position and the closed position of the cover 11 and the closed position, the setting profile 33 is formed such that a force in a direction toward the closed position acts on the cover 11.
In principle, it is also conceivable to use a cover fitting without application of force, or a cover fitting in which the cover 11 is connected to the body 6 by means of a further hinge. However, it is also possible to provide a cover fitting for holding a folded cover, wherein the folded cover is formed by at least two elements which are arranged on top of one another in the closed position and are pivotably connected to one another.
Fig. 10 and 11 show side views of a second embodiment of a connection arrangement, respectively. Elements corresponding to elements of the first embodiment of the connection arrangement of fig. 2 to 9 are provided with the same reference numerals and are described in connection with the first embodiment. Fig. 10 shows the connection arrangement before the connection elements are fully connected, while fig. 11 shows the connection arrangement after the connection elements are fully connected. Fig. 10 and 11 are described together below.
In contrast to the first embodiment, the second embodiment of the connection arrangement has one tab 19, on which tab 19 an indicator element 3 is formed, which is formed in the shape of an indicator tab. The indicator element 3 is arranged on the end of the tab 19 facing away from the fixing recess 25 and covers the second guide groove 17.
As long as the pivot-arm-side connecting member 8 is not completely connected to the second cover-side connecting member 10 (fig. 10), the second cover-side connecting member 10 is not yet inserted into the second guide groove 17, and the indicator member 3 is disposed in the first position in which it is close to the pivot-arm-side connecting member 8 or the second guide groove 17. In this position, the indicator 4 arranged at the end of the indicator tab is covered by the side wall of the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 and does not protrude beyond it transversely to the mounting direction M. In this embodiment, the side wall is formed by the guide wall 29, but it may be formed as a separate wall.
If the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 is completely connected to the second cover-side connecting element 10 (fig. 11), the indicator element 3 is transferred by the second cover-side connecting element 10 from the first position (fig. 10) into the second position (fig. 11), in which the indicator 4 projects beyond the edge 35 of the guide wall 29. In this second position, it is therefore clearly visible to the assembler that the pivot-arm-side connecting element 8 is completely connected to the second cover-side connecting element 10.
As an indicator for the complete assembly of the pivot arm side connecting element 8 to the first cover side connecting element 9, the tab 19 functions as shown in fig. 8 to protrude beyond the guide wall 29 in the incompletely completed assembly.
The fitter can thus directly see the correct or incorrect assembly by means of the tab 19 and the indicator element 3.
