Description

Belt-shaped auxiliary brake device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of braking systems for motor vehicles, in particular to an auxiliary braking device for braking or parking.
Background
When the automobile needs braking to stop, the abrasion-resistant brake pad is manually controlled to be tightly attached to the relevant part of the wheel rotation, the wheel stops rotating by means of the friction force of the brake pad, and the friction force generated by the rubber of the stopped tire and the ground causes the automobile to stop braking.
However, in the actual driving process, the braking of the manually controlled automobile (especially a truck) often fails (i.e. the braking fails), that is, the rotating wheels are not required to be controlled by the manual braking and still rotate, the automobile cannot be braked to continue to move forward, so that the automobile safety accident occurs, and the condition seriously threatens the life and property safety of drivers and pedestrians for a long time. Therefore, an effective brake auxiliary system is added for the motor vehicle, and under the emergency condition of brake failure of the automobile, the auxiliary brake function is very necessary to be rapidly realized.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to achieve the above purpose, an auxiliary braking device is provided for the current motor vehicle so as to provide double safety guarantee for braking or parking, and the invention provides the following technical scheme:
an auxiliary brake apparatus, comprising: a flexible component and a rigid component; wherein the flexible member is used for connecting the rigid member with a vehicle, releasing the rigid member to the ground and retracting, and the rigid member realizes braking by being inserted between a tire of the vehicle and the ground.
Further, the upper end of the flexible part is fixed on a chassis at the front side of a rear wheel of the motor vehicle, the lower end of the flexible part is connected with the rigid part, and the length of the flexible part (the length between the upper end and the lower end) is 10-30cm longer than the diameter of a tire of the vehicle; the width of the flexible component is 1-3cm wider than that of the tire; preferably in the form of a strip, preferably of a high strength, abrasion resistant, flexible material.
Further, the rigid member is preferably a rubber plate made of a tire material; the upper surface area of the rubber plate is slightly larger than the area of the tire contacting the ground (for example, the length and the width exceed 5-15mm), and the thickness is about 1-2 cm.
The apparatus of the present invention may further comprise a storage box mounted on the vehicle chassis to accommodate the flexible member and the rigid member when not in use. The storage box includes a bottom cover facing the ground, and the flexible member and the rigid member accommodated in the storage box are released by opening the bottom cover. The bottom cover is preferably in sliding connection with the box body, and one end, far away from the tire, of the bottom cover is connected with the control device in the carriage through a pull rope. The end of the bottom cover close to the tyre preferably has receptacles cooperating with cotter pins, generally preferably 3, for closing the bottom cover with the tank.
The device of the invention can also comprise a control device in the carriage, wherein the control device is used for releasing the rigid component and comprises a brake handle, and the tail end of the brake handle is connected with one end of the bottom cover far away from the tire and/or the cotter pin through a inhaul cable.
The invention also provides a method for assisting braking or parking, which comprises the following steps: releasing a rigid part connected with a flexible part on a chassis positioned at the front side of the rear wheel of the motor vehicle, wherein the rigid part is connected with the lower end of the flexible part of the device, the two parts fall down freely together, the rigid part falls on the ground, the moving wheel rides and presses a rubber plate with a brake pad, the upper end of the flexible part is fixed on the chassis at the front side of the rear wheel of the motor vehicle, and the brake or parking is realized by the tension of the flexible part and the friction of the rigid part.
The working principle of the device of the invention is as follows: when the original brake of the motor vehicle fails, or the motor vehicle needs to be braked or parked with higher efficiency, a driver quickly opens a lock catch and a box cover of a body side control box (control device), pulls a handle upwards, a guy cable below the handle is lifted upwards, at the moment, 3 cotter pins at the other end of the guy cable and a bottom cover of a storage box are also pulled out and opened by the guy cable, a main body (lower ends of a rigid component and a flexible component) of the auxiliary brake device freely falls downwards, a rubber plate at the lower end of the main body is firstly attached to the ground, wheels ride on a braking pad, the rubber plate of the main body replaces wheels away from the ground and bears the full weight of the vehicle, the rotating wheels are quickly stopped due to the resistance between the rubber plates and the friction force between the riding and the ground, and the motor vehicle is braked and stopped to move forwards (mainly due to the friction force between the rubber plates and the ground). Therefore, the whole working process (opening the box, pulling the handle, falling the main body and riding and pressing the wheels) of the auxiliary brake device is quickly finished, so that the aim of quickly compensating/enhancing the brake function of the motor vehicle under the emergency conditions of the original brake failure and the like is fulfilled.
When the auxiliary brake device works: the wheels are automatically ridden and pressed on the rubber plates of the band-shaped brake device, the rubber plates which are in friction with the ground replace the wheels which can not be braked, and the friction force generated by the rubber plates and the ground under the pressure bearing of the self weight of the automobile causes the automobile to stop.
The pad can also be used as a brake device for preventing the vehicle from sliding forwards when the vehicle is parked. The auxiliary brake device provided by the invention has a simple structure and can be directly added to an active vehicle. Meanwhile, the device has low cost, and has remarkable braking effect when dealing with emergency or needing to strengthen braking/parking.

Detailed Description
To facilitate a better understanding of the invention by those skilled in the art, specific embodiments thereof are now given:
this example provides an auxiliary brake device, mainly divide into three parts: a band-shaped brake pad 1, a storage box 2 and a control box 3. The main body is a band-shaped brake pad 1 which is arranged in front of two rear wheels 500 of an automobile and is a supplementary device of a rear wheel brake system when working, and the main body is synchronous. The dimensions in this example are designed for a Changan compact wagon, the dimensions in millimeters (mm) in the figures being merely a dimensional ratio of a product embodying the invention to a subject vehicle and not a limitation on the scope of the product of the invention.
The belt-shaped brake pad 1 comprises a high-strength flexible wear-resistant belt-shaped material 11 and a rubber plate 12 at the lower end of the belt-shaped material, wherein the width of the belt-shaped material 11 is slightly wider than that of a tire by 1-3cm (15cm), the length of the belt-shaped material is slightly longer than that of the tire by 10-30cm (75cm), and the thickness of the belt-shaped material is about 3 mm. The upper end of the band-shaped brake pad is fixed on a steel beam of the automobile chassis 100 which is about 10cm away from the front side of the outer edge of the wheel. The lower end of the belt-shaped brake pad main body is in contact with the ground, and a wear-resistant tire rubber plate is fixed on the lower end of the belt-shaped brake pad main body, the area of the wear-resistant tire rubber plate is slightly larger than the area of the tire in contact with the ground (25cm multiplied by 15cm), and the thickness of the wear-resistant tire rubber plate is about 1-2 cm. The storage box 2 is put into in folding when the area shape brake pad main part does not use, when the area shape brake pad uses: after the bottom cover of the storage box is opened, the lower end of the rubber plate of the band-shaped brake pad main body freely falls to the ground from the bottom of the storage box.
Construction and mounting of the storage box 2 (see fig. 2): the storage box 2 is a box for storing the belt-shaped brake pad main body after the main body is partially folded when the belt-shaped brake pad main body is not used, and can be made of an iron plate with the thickness of about 1 mm. The hollow volume of the box is slightly larger than the folded volume of the belt-shaped brake pad main body (for example, the width of the box is 2-5cm wider than that of the belt-shaped brake pad). The storage box has a slidable bottom cover 21, the upper end of which (away from the tire side) is connected to the control handle 31 by a pull cord 200. When the band-shaped brake pad 1 is operated, the pull cable 200 pulls out the bottom cover 21 in the front direction of the vehicle and separates from the storage box 2, and the bottom cover is hung beside the storage box 2. When the band-shaped brake pad 1 is not used, the band-shaped brake pad is folded and compressed upwards, the bottom cover 21 is closed, and the main body of the band-shaped brake pad 1 is safely accommodated in the accommodating box 2 for standby. In order to prevent the bottom cover 21 from being opened by itself, the lower end (close to the tire side) of the bottom cover (with 3 small holes with the diameter of 2mm drilled at the edge) is inserted into the strip hole 23 at the lower end of the front wall of the containing box, and 3 split pins 22 with the length of about 5cm and the diameter of 2mm are inserted into the 3 small holes at the edge of the lower end of the bottom cover, so that the bottom cover 21 is locked, and the band-shaped brake pad 1 cannot fall down to cause accidental danger. The open end of the cotter pin 22 is now separated so that it does not exit by itself. The other ends of the cotter pins 22 are respectively connected with the control handle 31 through the guy cables 200 (see fig. 2).
Construction and mounting of the control box 3: the control box 3 may be a small iron box made of an iron plate having a thickness of 1mm, in this example, a size of about 15 × 10 × 8 cm. A small handle 31 is arranged in the box, the lower end of the handle 31 is connected with a guy cable 200, the other end of the guy cable 200 is provided with 4 branch guy cables, the 3 short end parts are respectively connected with a cotter pin 22, and the 1 long end part is connected with the upper end of a bottom cover 21 of the containing box.
Braking principle of the belt-shaped brake pad: when the original brake of the automobile fails, a driver quickly opens the lock catch 32 and the box cover 33 of the body side control box, pulls the handle 31 upwards, pulls the cable 200 below the handle 31 upwards, at the moment, the 3 cotter pins 22 at the other end of the cable 200 and the upper end of the storage box bottom cover 21 are also pulled out and opened successively by the cable, the band-shaped brake pad main body freely falls downwards, the rubber plate at the lower end of the main body is firstly attached to the ground, the wheel 500 rides and presses the rubber plate 12 of the band-shaped brake pad 1 immediately, the rotating wheel 500 is stopped quickly due to the resistance of the brake pad and the friction force between the riding and pressing rubber plate 12 and the ground, and the automobile is braked and stopped to move forwards.
When the band-shaped brake pad does not work: after the belt-shaped brake pad is used, the rubber plate pad is arranged under a wheel, and optionally, the rubber plate pad can be withdrawn manually according to the following method:
(1) under the normal condition of the vehicle, a driver controls the vehicle to retreat for a certain distance, the rear wheels are withdrawn from the riding and pressing rubber plate, the driver folds the band-shaped brake pad by hands and sends the band-shaped brake pad into the storage box, and the bottom cover and the split pin are inserted to finish the withdrawing process of the band-shaped brake pad.
(2) If the vehicle cannot back up, the vehicle-mounted jack can be used for jacking the tire, the band-shaped brake pad is folded after the rubber plate is moved out, the band-shaped brake pad is placed into the storage box, and the bottom cover and the split pin are inserted to finish the process of withdrawing the band-shaped brake pad.
Furthermore, it should be understood that although the present specification describes embodiments in detail, not every embodiment contains only a single technical solution, and such description is for the sake of clarity only, and those skilled in the art should make the specification as a whole, and the technical solutions in the embodiments may be appropriately combined to form other embodiments understood by those skilled in the art.
