[ first embodiment ]
Please refer to fig. 1, which is a block diagram of a system for volume modulation initiating widget according to a first embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the system for volume-adjusting the start widget of the present embodiment includes a remote controller 1, an electronic device 2 and a display device 3, wherein the electronic device 2 connects the remote controller 1 to the display device 3, and the electronic device 2 is used as a wireless signal receiver and a controller of the display device 3, and is configured to receive and convert signals, commands or system applications from the remote controller 1, and transmit the converted signals to instruct the display device 3 to perform the operation of displaying or outputting sound sources.
The remote control 1 may include one or more trigger keys, such as any one or any combination of a power key, a volume key, an adjust screen brightness key, or other function keys. The number of trigger keys of the remote control 1 may depend on the actual design requirements, for example, the remote control 1 may have a plurality of trigger keys for performing different functions, or may integrate a plurality of functions into a single trigger key. The triggering key can be a key, a sliding key such as a left sliding key, a right sliding key, etc., or other suitable types. It should be understood that the above is only for illustration and not for limiting the invention, and the triggering key (i.e. hot key) described herein should be covered as long as there is a component for triggering the volume change function of the display device 3.
In order to minimize the influence on the visual perception of the user viewing the movie played by the display device 3, that is, under the condition that the feature of the fluency of the movie playing is not affected, for example, the movie playing is not stopped, the movie playing speed is not slowed down or increased, and the screen brightness is not adjusted, the present embodiment does not use the power key as the trigger key, but uses the volume up key and the volume down key as the trigger key 100 configured to trigger the start of the external system, such as the widget, while the movie is being played. In practice, a trigger key with different functions can be replaced to trigger the starting of the external system. For example, in order not to affect the auditory sense of the user when watching a movie, the screen brightness key may be used as a trigger key, and pressing the screen brightness key triggers the brightness of the display device 3 to change, for example, to become dark or bright, thereby triggering the external system to be started. For example, the user may select one of the plurality of trigger keys to trigger the start widget according to the current hearing and visual acceptance. The following description will be directed to the application of volume keys (including volume up keys and volume down keys) as the trigger key 100 shown in fig. 1, but it can be understood by those skilled in the art from the context that the application of volume keys can be properly transferred to other functions of the trigger key.
The remote controller 1 may further include a trigger key detection circuit 110. The trigger key detection circuit 110 can continuously detect the pressed state of the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1. The trigger key detection circuit 110 may output a trigger key status signal 111 when a trigger key 100, such as an up volume key or a down volume key, is pressed. For example, the trigger key detection circuit 110 may be a piezoelectric sensor disposed inside the housing of the remote controller 1 adjacent to the bottom surface of the trigger key 100, so that when a pressure (e.g., a downward pressing force) is applied to the trigger key 100, the piezoelectric sensor converts the pressure into a trigger key state signal 111 (electrical signal) and outputs the signal.
The electronic device 2 may comprise a control circuit 200 connected to the trigger key detection circuit 110 of the remote controller 1. The control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 may receive in advance an application, a signal, an instruction, a database, or the like applied to an external system such as a widget from an external electronic device. For example, the electronic device 2 may be a set-top box or other electronic components that also have a function of controlling the operation of the display device 3 according to the operation of the remote controller 1, and the electronic device 2 may have an operating system installed therein, such as Android, Linux, Windows, and the like, which are only exemplified above, and the invention is not limited thereto.
With the above configuration, when the electronic device 2 receives the trigger key state signal 111 from the remote controller 1, the control circuit 200 can determine which trigger key 100 (up volume key or down volume key) is pressed currently or at a certain time point according to the trigger key state signal 111, count each pressing time of each trigger key 100 and the accumulated pressing time of all trigger keys 100, and determine the first adjusted volume according to the key pressing state to output the corresponding first volume adjustment signal 201. More precisely, the control circuit 200 can determine how many volume bars are needed to mark the volume bar 311 corresponding to the first volume of the first volume adjustment signal 201 according to the volume value represented by each volume bar 311 of the display device 3 shown in fig. 4, wherein each volume bar can be defined as the length of each segment of the volume bar 311, and is not limited by whether the volume bar 311 is specifically divided into a plurality of bars or not.
The display device 3 includes an audio/video input/output circuit 300 connected to the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2. The video I/O circuit 300 may be, for example, a speaker, which may be integrated with the display device 3 or separated from the display device 3 into a single unit. The video i/o circuit 300 can output the original audio signal 309 matching with the video while playing the video. When the audio/video i/o circuit 300 receives the first volume adjustment signal 201 from the electronic device 2, the original volume of the original audio signal 309 is adjusted to increase or decrease the first adjusted volume according to the first volume adjustment signal 201 to output the first audio signal 301.
The display device 3 further comprises a display screen 310 connected to the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2. While the audio/video input/output circuit 300 is outputting the first audio signal 301, the display device 3 can display a volume bar 311 (as shown in fig. 4) through the display screen 310, and the length/number of the volume bar marked in the volume bar 311 depends on the original volume and the first adjusted volume. It should be understood that if the pressed toggle key 100 is an up volume key, the adjusted first volume is greater than the original volume, and the length of the volume bar/volume grid number marked will be increased or decreased; conversely, if the pressed toggle key 100 is a volume-down key, the adjusted first volume is less than the original volume, and the length of the volume bar/volume grid to be marked is decreased.
When the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 is pressed, or when the trigger key 100 has been pressed to trigger the display device 3 to increase or decrease the first adjusted volume, the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 may output a prompt signal 1232 to the display device 3 to instruct the display device 3 to display a prompt statement 1233 (as shown in fig. 4) corresponding to the prompt signal 1232 through the display screen 310, where the prompt statement 1233 may include information related to a widget that can be activated by pressing the volume key 100 twice. It should be understood that hint related operations may also be omitted.
Further, when the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 is pressed again according to the prompt of the prompt statement 1233 of the display device 3 or before or without the prompt, the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 will output the corresponding second volume adjustment signal 202 when determining the second adjusted volume and the second volume adjustment format/length corresponding to the second adjusted volume according to the trigger key status signal 111 representing the second press received from the trigger key detection circuit 110 of the remote controller 1.
The audio/video input/output circuit 300 of the display device 3 adjusts the first volume of the first audio signal 301 to increase or decrease the second adjusted volume according to the second volume adjustment signal 202 from the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 to output the second audio signal 302, wherein the second volume of the second audio signal 302 depends on the first volume and the second adjusted volume. While the volume is adjusted, the display device 3 displays a volume display bar 311 through the display screen 310, and the length of the bar/the number of volume lattices in the volume display bar 311 that increases or decreases the flag depends on the second adjusted volume.
It should be noted that when the control circuit 200 determines that the audio/video input/output circuit 300 of the display device 3 sequentially outputs the first audio signal 301 with the first adjusted volume and the second audio signal 302 with the second adjusted volume, in other words, when the display device 3 has sequentially displayed the volume display bars 311 corresponding to the first adjusted volume and the second adjusted volume, the control circuit 200 starts an external system received from an external electronic device to operate one or more external devices, and outputs a start signal to control the display device 3 to display an operation interface of the external system through the display screen 310, where the operation interface is located at a position where an image displayed by the display screen 310 is not overlapped. For example, the external system may be, for example, the widget 36 shown in fig. 4, other various application programs or databases, such as a room control integration system for controlling the operation of the external devices, such as the temperature of the indoor air conditioner, the operation of the fan, etc., and this application is only for illustration and not limited thereto.
As described above, in the present embodiment, the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 is pressed twice to trigger the display device 3 to generate two volume changes, so as to trigger and start the operation of an external system, such as a widget. In practice, the volume modulation with more or less times can be set as the condition for starting the external system according to the requirement, for example, different pressing modes may be possible according to the habit of different users and the volume adjustment amplitude requirement, such as short-pressing once, long-pressing once, multiple short-pressing or any combination thereof, for example, as follows.
Please refer to fig. 2a to 2c, which are first to third schematic diagrams illustrating pressing manners of a remote controller of a system for volume modulation starting widget according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 2a, in a one-time short-press manner, the control circuit 200 of the triggering electronic device 2 initiates the manipulation of the external device by the received/installed external system. Specifically, at the time point Tp1 (as a downward arrow in the figure), the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 is pressed for the first time, i.e. the pressing time is short, for example, only 1 second or shorter, which is only exemplified herein, but not limited thereto.
In the time interval Inpv1 after the trigger key 100 is pressed at the time point Tp1, when the trigger key detection circuit 110 detects the pressed state of the trigger key, the trigger key state signal 111 is output to the audio/video i/o circuit 300, and then the audio/video i/o circuit 300 increases or decreases the original volume of the original sound source signal 309 by the first adjustment volume. Then, at time Tv1, the av i/o circuit 300 of the display device 3 outputs the first audio source signal 301 with the first volume, which depends on the original volume and the first adjusted volume.
Then, after the volume of the display device 3 is modulated at the time point Tv1, the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 is pressed again within the preset time interval In122 after the waiting time interval In112, so as to trigger the display device 3 to generate the second adjusted volume, thereby triggering the start of the external system. The waiting time period In112 may be omitted if the external system is started more quickly. It will be appreciated that the one-time short-press mode is used twice, and thus the volume of the display device 3 is adjusted only slightly.
As shown in fig. 2b, the control circuit 200 of the triggering electronic device 2 initiates the manipulation of the external device by the received/installed external system in a multiple-tap manner. The trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 is first short-pressed at a time point Tp11, and within a first preset time interval In11 after the first pressing, the trigger key 100 is further pressed 3 times, the number of downward arrows as shown In fig. 2b representing a total of 4 short-presses.
Then, in the time interval Inpv2, the control circuit 200 counts the number of times of pressing the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 according to the plurality of trigger key state signals 111, determines the first adjusted volume of the display device 3 according to the number of times of pressing and the time length, and outputs the corresponding first volume adjustment signal 201 to the av i/o circuit 300. At time Tv11, the av i/o circuit 300 of the display device 3 outputs the first sound source signal 301 in response to the first volume adjustment signal 201.
After the volume of the display device 3 is modulated twice at the time point Tv11, In the preset time interval In22 after a period of waiting time In12, i.e., the time period from the time point T2 to the time point T22, when the trigger key 100 is pressed for a plurality of times (or once), the control circuit 200 may determine the second volume-adjusted size of the display device 3 according to the number of times of pressing and the time length.
Compared with fig. 2a, the pressing method shown in fig. 2b can adjust the volume to a larger extent in a situation where the external system is activated once. In this embodiment, the pressing times In the first predetermined time interval In11 are the same as the pressing times In the predetermined time interval In22, which may be different from each other In practice. To avoid the trigger key 100 from being touched by mistake to activate the widget, more strict trigger activation conditions may be set, for example, the external system may be activated to operate the external device only when the number of pressing times In the two preset time intervals In11 and In22 reaches a preset number, or the number of pressing times In the two preset time intervals In11 and In22 is the same. In this way, if the trigger key 100 of the remote control 1 is pressed for the first time, but if the external system is regressed to be turned off and the volume is simply adjusted in the event of a sudden situation, the trigger key 100 may be pressed without a predetermined condition.
As shown in fig. 2c, in a one-time long press mode, the control circuit 200 of the triggering electronic device 2 initiates the manipulation of the external device by the received/installed external system. When the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 is pressed for a time period In111 at a time point Tp111, the first adjusted volume of the display device 3 is larger due to the longer pressing time. In the time interval Inpv3 after the time point Tp112, the control circuit 200 counts the pressing times of the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 according to the trigger key state signal 111, determines the second adjusted volume of the display device 3 according to the pressing times and the time length, and outputs the corresponding second volume adjustment signal 202 to the av input/output circuit 300 of the display device 3. At the time point Tv111, the av i/o circuit 300 of the display device 3 outputs the second sound source signal 302 in response to the second volume adjustment signal 202.
When the display device 3 outputs the second sound source signal 302, that is, from the time point Tv111 at which the volume of the display device 3 is modulated, the control circuit 200 starts timing, and after the preset time interval In122 elapses, the trigger key 100 is pressed for a long time again, and the external system starts operating the external device.
The time lengths of the time intervals Inpv1, In112, In122, In11, Inpv2, In12, In22, In111, Inpv3, and In122 may be set according to actual operations, and the pressing manner for triggering and starting the external system is only an example.
It should be noted that in the present embodiment, when the trigger key 100 is pressed once, the display screen 310 of the display device 3 and the av i/o circuit 300 simultaneously display the volume display bar 311 and output the first audio signal 301 or the second audio signal 302, respectively.
However, in practice, the operation of the display device 3 may be alternatively set such that when the trigger key 100 is pressed once, the display screen 310 of the display device 3 displays the volume bar 311 for a period of time, and then when the trigger key 100 is pressed again within the period of time, the volume outputted by the av i/o circuit 300 and the length/number of the volume bar marked by the corresponding adjusted volume bar 311 are adjusted according to the first adjusted volume or the second adjusted volume. Those skilled in the art should be able to appropriately adjust the implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure according to the operation settings of the display device 3. For example, as shown In fig. 2b, when the time point Tp11 is pressed for the first time, the display device 3 displays the volume bar 311 on the display screen 310 but does not adjust the volume, the time interval In11 is the period of displaying the volume bar 311, and other time points In the time interval In11 after the time point Tp11 are pressed (for example, 3 times) to the trigger key 100 as the trigger condition for the volume modulation.
In the above description, the external system operation can be started only by triggering the display device 3 to generate volume modulation by the trigger key 100 of the remote controller 1 twice (the two pressing time points may be separated by at least a preset time), no matter whether the volume amplitudes of the two modulations are the same, i.e., whether the first adjusted volume and the second adjusted volume are the same, and whether the volume before the adjustment is the same as the volume after the final adjustment. In the following, it is further determined whether to start the external system to operate the external device based on the adjusted volume amplitude and the adjusted volume of the display device 3.
For example, when the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 compares that the first adjusted volume generated by the display device 3 is different from the second adjusted volume, the control circuit 200 starts the external system and controls the display device 3 to display the operation interface of the external system, and the operation state of the external device can be only displayed or further controlled through the operation interface. On the contrary, when the control circuit 200 compares that the first adjusted volume is the same as the second adjusted volume, the control circuit 200 does not start the external system or output the start signal.
For another example, when the control circuit 200 compares that the first adjusted volume is different from the second adjusted volume, the control circuit 200 starts the external system and controls the display device 3 to display the operation interface. On the contrary, the control circuit 200 compares that the first adjusted volume is the same as the second adjusted volume, and then compares whether the original volume of the original sound source signal 309 is the same as the second volume of the second sound source signal 302. If the original volume is different from the second volume, the control circuit 200 starts the external system and controls the display device 3 to display the operation interface of the external system; on the contrary, if the original volume is the same as the second volume, the control circuit 200 does not start the external system and does not output the start signal. That is, if the volume up key 100 is pressed for the first time to generate the first adjusted volume, and then the volume down key 100 is pressed again to generate the second adjusted volume which is the same as the first adjusted volume, wherein the pressing sequence of the volume down key 100 and the volume up key 100 is also reversed, so that the finally adjusted volume, i.e. the second volume, is the same as the original volume, the related operation of the external system is not executed. In practice, the comparison between the first adjusted volume and the second adjusted volume can be omitted, and only the original volume and the second volume can be directly compared.
It should be noted that different display devices 3 may have different volume adjustment ranges, such as 0-80 db. When the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 receives the trigger key state signal 111 from the trigger key detection circuit 110 of the remote controller 1, the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 can determine whether the original volume of the original sound source signal 309 or the first volume of the first sound source signal 301 is the upper limit of the volume adjustment range.
If the original volume or the first volume is 80 db, for example, the volume up key (the trigger key 100) is pressed, the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 will not output the first volume adjusting signal 201 or the second volume adjusting signal 202, and the display device 3 will not generate volume adjustment, i.e. the pressing is not used as a condition for triggering the external system, such as the widget 36, to start. In this case, the volume-down key (another trigger key 100) needs to be pressed to start the volume-up, even to start the external system.
Similarly, if the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 determines that the original volume or the first volume is the lower limit of the volume adjustment range, for example, 0 db, and presses the volume down key, the control circuit 200 of the electronic device 2 will not output the first volume adjustment signal 201 or the second volume adjustment signal 202, i.e., the display device 3 is not triggered to generate volume adjustment. In this case, the volume-up key is pressed to start the volume-up, even to start the external system.
