5) fixing a second upper end fixing plate on a second fixing support according to the position of a second resin pin of the automobile steering column to be tested, appropriately moving the position of the second fixing support on the working table surface of the tensile testing machine according to the requirement, and then fixing the second fixing support on the working table surface of the tensile testing machine;

A test device using the clamp comprises a stretcher base 20, wherein a working table top 10 and a clamp 00 are sequentially arranged on the stretcher base, and an automobile steering column 60 to be tested is fixed through the clamp 00; during testing, pressure is applied to the automobile steering column to be tested through the pressure head 50.
The automobile steering column 60 to be tested is connected with the clamp 00 through the fixing bolt 40 and the fixing pin 30. The fixing bolt 40 is used for connecting the automobile steering column 60 to be tested with the left fixing plate and the right upper end fixing plate respectively, and the fixing pin 30 is used for connecting the automobile steering column 60 to be tested with the left fixing plate and the right lower end fixing plate.
The method for testing the crushing performance of the automobile steering column by using the testing device comprises the following steps:
1) the left fixing bracket 01 is fixed on the table top 10 of the tensile testing machine, and the right fixing bracket 02 is placed on the table top 10 of the tensile testing machine, but is not fixed temporarily.

6) The left resin pin of the automobile steering column 60 is connected with the left upper end fixing plate 03 through the fixing bolt 40, and the right resin pin of the automobile steering column 60 is connected with the right upper end fixing plate 04 through the fixing bolt 40.
