The section color yarn is a new appearance yarn which is popular in recent years, most of the section color yarns are produced by properly modifying a ring spinning frame or a roving frame, the color spun yarn with various color combinations is different from common color spun yarns, and the section color yarn presents irregular color effects. Along the axial direction of the yarn, the yarn has thickness variation and color effect which is discontinuously distributed and alternately appears. The segment color yarn has both color and structure; the fabric is rich in level change and stereoscopic impression, is widely used for garment fabrics and decorative fabrics, is deeply loved by consumers, and has considerable economic benefit.
However, at present, most of the section color yarns are produced by adopting the spun yarn process, and a small part of the section color yarns are produced by adopting the roving process, so that the section color yarns have the characteristics of strong sense of fabric particles, wild style, complex production operation, low efficiency and the like, the production cost is higher, and the popularization and the application of the section color yarns are limited. Example 3

The main color bar B is prepared from the white raw cotton through the procedures of cotton mixing, blowing and drawing.
On the modified drawing frame, the decorating strips A are fed from a decorating strip roller 7, and the main color strips are fed from a drawing back roller 8. The drawing frame is started, the gear 1 of the wool board rotates for a circle, the pawl pushes the ratchet wheel to rotate once, the decorative strip roller 7 rotates through the stroke amplification mechanism, and the decorative strip A is fed for one time. The feeding decoration color strip A is converged with the continuously feeding main color strip B in the drafting zone of the drawing frame, and the section color strip C with alternate black and white is prepared by drafting.
The structure of the segment color yarn with the white, red, blue and purple multicolor effect is shown in figure 3 by adopting the prepared partial segment color strip C and then carrying out the working procedures of roving, spinning and spooling.
The color section strips C are produced into the vortex spinning section color fabric with the white, red, blue and purple multicolor effect through the vortex spinning process, as shown in figure 5.
