A sterilization fresh air system based on an ultraviolet LED and application thereof are provided, wherein the sterilization fresh air system comprises an air inlet; an ultraviolet LED module that sterilizes air; a dust filter for filtering dust in the air; the fan is used for introducing air into the sterilization fresh air system from the air inlet; the baffle is used for blocking cold air from entering the room after the system is closed; and an air outlet for discharging clean air. The invention utilizes the ultraviolet sterilization function of the ultraviolet LED to quickly kill viruses and bacteria entering the room, thereby achieving the effect of safe ventilation; can be according to the season difference, the bacterial content is different, increases and decreases ultraviolet LED module on ultraviolet LED module extension groove, more effective virus and bacterium of killing.

Many experiments prove that ultraviolet LEDs irradiate viruses or bacteria, the types of the bacteria and the viruses are not distinguished, DNA of the bacteria can be directly damaged to kill the bacteria and the viruses, the killing rate reaches more than 99%, people are researching and developing various ultraviolet LED products to replace mercury lamps for sterilization and disinfection at present, and as the ultraviolet LEDs comprehensively replace the mercury lamps for sterilization and disinfection in 2020, the ultraviolet LED.
