Description

Communication method and device
The present application claims priority of chinese patent application entitled "a method for reporting capability of radio frequency link switching based on time division multiplexing mode" filed by chinese patent office on 27/6/2018 with application number 201810680955.4, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
Technical Field
The embodiment of the application relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a communication method and device.
Background
In a wireless communication system, uplink communication of a terminal may support multiple transmit chains, and downlink communication of the terminal may also support multiple receive chains. The transmit chain and the receive chain are both radio frequency chains. As shown in fig. 1, when the terminal transmits an uplink signal, a baseband signal is generated at a baseband, the baseband signal generates a radio frequency signal through a radio frequency transmission link, and the radio frequency signal is transmitted through an antenna, where the radio frequency link includes a radio frequency integrated circuit, a power amplifier, and a duplexer/filter. Similarly, when receiving a signal, the terminal also receives the signal through the corresponding rf receiving link.
A terminal may support multiple transmit or receive chains. For example, a terminal supports one transmit chain and two receive chains. Also for example, a terminal may support two transmit chains and four receive chains. When the terminal uses two transmission links for uplink communication with the network side, a larger communication rate than one transmission link can be provided.
Currently, a terminal may access multiple network devices to support communication with the multiple network devices, in which case, the terminal may use different radio frequency links to communicate with different network devices. However, for any radio frequency link, a terminal does not always use the radio frequency link to communicate with a corresponding network device at any moment, for example, when the network device corresponding to the radio frequency link does not schedule the terminal, or when the terminal sends a signal with other network devices, the radio frequency link is idle. Therefore, when the terminal is provided with a plurality of radio frequency links to communicate with a plurality of accessed network devices, the radio frequency links are idle and resources are wasted.

Specifically, the terminal may access a plurality of network devices in a DC manner, or may access a plurality of network devices in a CA manner. The rf link may be integrated in the rf chip or may be integrated in the same chip with the baseband processing circuit.
2) DC, DC is a mode of the terminal in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) CONNECTED state (i.e., RRC _ CONNECTED state), and the network device configures a Master Cell Group (MCG) and a Secondary Cell Group (SCG) for the terminal. If the network device supports DC, the terminal in RRC _ CONNECTED state may be configured to use radio resources provided by two different network devices. For example, as shown in fig. 3a, in Long Term Evolution (LTE), a terminal is configured to use radio resources provided by two enbs, one as a Master base station (Master eNB, MeNB) and one as a Secondary base station (SeNB), which are connected by an X2 interface. One terminal in the DC is connected to one MeNB and one SeNB. As also shown in fig. 3b, in a New Radio (NR), an LTE-NR dual connectivity manner may be adopted, and the terminal is configured to use radio resources provided by an eNB in LTE and a gNB in NR, where optionally, the eNB serves as a primary base station and the gNB serves as a secondary base station. As shown in fig. 3c, it is needless to say that an NR-LTE dual-connection scheme may be adopted, in which the gbb serves as the primary base station and the eNB serves as the secondary base station. As shown in fig. 3d, it is also possible to adopt an NR-NR dual connectivity manner, where the terminal is configured to use two radio resources provided by the gNB, one serving as the primary base station and one serving as the secondary base station.
3) Antenna port, on the network side, the radio frequency link and the antenna can be abstracted as a concept of antenna port. When a terminal has N radio frequency links, the terminal supports communication with network devices using at most N antenna ports simultaneously. For example, a terminal having two radio frequency links supports communication with a network device using at most two antenna ports simultaneously, N ═ 2. In practical application, each radio frequency link may correspond to one antenna port, or a plurality of radio frequency links may correspond to one antenna port. If the terminal uses one antenna port to communicate with the network device, the terminal may use any one of the two radio frequency links to correspond to the antenna port, or may use the two radio frequency links to simulate one antenna port at the same time, which depends on the specific implementation of the terminal side, and is transparent to the network device, and the network device only needs to schedule the terminal to transmit uplink signals on which antenna ports.
4) Antenna capabilities, the antenna capabilities including: number of antenna ports, number of layers, number of radio frequency links, number of antennas, maximum number of antenna ports, maximum number of layers, maximum number of radio frequency links, or maximum number of antennas. The number of layers refers to the number of streams of mutually uncorrelated signals contained in the transmitted data when the transmitted data is precoded. For example, a terminal uses four antenna ports to transmit data, but the same data or related data is transmitted using the four antenna ports, it can be understood that the terminal transmits a stream of data or transmits a layer of data using the four antenna ports. For another example, if the four antenna ports include port 0, port 1, port 2 and port 3, the terminal transmits the same or related stream data using port 0 and port 1, and the terminal transmits the same or related stream data using port 2 and port 3, it can be understood that the terminal transmits two layers of data. In the description of the embodiments of the present application, the description related to the antenna port is an exemplary description, and the method can also be applied to other expressions of the antenna capability. In the present application, when "uplink communication capability includes", the meaning of both expressions is equivalent, and when "uplink communication capability includes", the meaning of both expressions is equivalent.
5) And the time division multiplexing mode is configured to the terminal by the network equipment and is used for indicating the communication mode of the terminal on the time domain. As shown in fig. 4, the time division multiplexing mode indicates a plurality of time durations that are alternately arranged, for example, the time division multiplexing mode indicates two time durations that are alternately arranged, including a first time duration and a second time duration, where the first time duration and the second time duration are adjacent and alternately arranged in a time domain, and the first time duration and the second time duration may be equal or different. The network device also configures the terminal with function information of the time division multiplexing mode, which is used for indicating the purpose of the time division multiplexing mode to the terminal, and the terminal carries out communication according to the time division multiplexing mode according to the function information of the time division multiplexing mode. For example, the function of the time division multiplexing mode may be configured to determine whether to allow the terminal to transmit the uplink signal to the network device, for example, the first duration is a time resource allowing the terminal to transmit the uplink signal to the network device, and the second duration is a time resource not allowing the terminal to transmit the signal to the network device. If the terminal is accessed to the first network equipment and the second network equipment, the first duration is a time resource allowing the terminal to send the uplink signal to the second network equipment, and meanwhile, the first duration is a resource not allowing the terminal to send the uplink signal to the first network equipment; similarly, the second duration is a time resource that is not allowed to transmit the uplink signal to the second network device, and is also a resource that is allowed to transmit the uplink signal to the first network device. For another example, the function of the time division multiplexing mode may also be configured to switch the antenna capability value when the terminal sends the signal to the network device, where the first duration is the first value of the antenna capability when the terminal sends the signal to the network device, and the second duration is the second value of the antenna capability when the terminal sends the signal to the network device.
For example, the terminal accesses a first network device and a second network device in an LTE-NR dual connection manner, where the first network device is a network device in NR and the second network device is a network device in LTE, and in this scenario, some frequency band combinations may have intermodulation interference. For example, when LTE operates in a 1.8GHz band and NR operates in a 3.5GHz band, the operating frequency of the NR system is about twice that of the LTE system, and second harmonics generated by signals transmitted by LTE may generate intermodulation interference to NR. In a scenario of LTE-NR dual connectivity, a master base station may configure a Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) pattern to a terminal, where the TDM pattern indicates that the terminal cannot send an uplink signal to a second network device within time resources of a downlink subframe or a special subframe, and then the terminal may send the uplink signal to a first network device within the time resources; in the time resources indicated by the TDM pattern as the uplink subframe, the terminal may send the uplink signal to the second network device, and then the terminal is not allowed to send the uplink signal to the first network device in the time resources. The TDM pattern can ensure that the terminal only sends uplink signals to the LTE side or only sends uplink signals to the NR side at the same time, so that intermodulation interference is avoided. The TDM pattern is indicated by the parameter subframe assignment-r 15. The first network equipment or the second network equipment sends the parameters subframeAssignment-r15 to the terminal, the terminal receives the parameters subframeAssignment-r15, and the TDMpattern is determined according to the received parameters subframeAssignment-r 15.
The values of subframe assignment-r15 are as follows:
SubframeAssignment-r15::=ENUMERATED{sa0,sa1,sa2,sa3,sa4,sa5,sa6}。
wherein saX represents the uplink and downlink configuration X in LTE. The LTE has 7 uplink and downlink configurations, and the specific configuration is shown in table 1, where D represents a downlink subframe, U represents an uplink subframe, and S represents a special subframe.

In this embodiment of the application, the terminal may access two network devices in a DC or CA manner, and for convenience of description, the two network devices are represented by a first network device and a second network device, and the first network device and the second network device may communicate with each other through an X2 interface. If the first network equipment and the second network equipment are network equipment in different communication system systems, the terminal establishes double connection with the first network equipment and the second network equipment in a DC connection mode; for another example, the first network device and the second network device are network devices in a system of the same communication system, and the terminal accesses the first network device and the second network device in a Carrier Aggregation (CA) manner. Regardless of the manner of accessing the two network devices, one of the two network devices is a primary base station, and the other network device is a secondary base station. Before executing the communication method provided by the embodiment of the present application, the terminal needs to establish a connection with the first network device or the second network device, and establishing the connection may refer to establishing an RRC connection. If the terminal establishes connection with the first network device, the first network device is a primary base station, the second network device is a secondary base station, the terminal can directly send a signal to the first network device, if the terminal needs to send a signal to the second network device, the terminal needs to send the signal to the first network device first, and the first network device transmits the signal to the second network device, where the signal may be an RRC signaling. Similarly, if the terminal establishes a connection with the second network device, the second network device is a primary base station, the first network device is a secondary base station, the terminal may directly send a signal to the second network device, if the terminal needs to send a signal to the first network device, the terminal needs to send the signal to the second network device first, and the second network device transmits the signal to the first network device, where the signal may be an RRC signaling.
In the embodiment of the application, a radio frequency link through which a terminal communicates with a first network device and a radio frequency link through which the terminal communicates with a second network device are different, it is assumed that the terminal uses the first radio frequency link when sending a signal to the first network device, and uses the second radio frequency link when sending a signal to the second network device, and when the terminal does not send a signal to the second network device, the second radio frequency link is an idle radio frequency link, and the terminal can jointly use the first radio frequency link and the idle second radio frequency link to send a signal to the first network device, so that the power of sending a signal to the first network device can be improved, the sharing of the radio frequency links is realized, the utilization rate of the radio frequency links is improved, and the uplink transmission rate is improved. Of course, the number of the first radio frequency links may be one or more. Likewise, the number of the second radio frequency links may be one or more. The radio frequency link is an expression form of the antenna capacity of the terminal, and based on the application background, the value of the antenna capacity when the terminal sends a signal to the first network device includes two values, one value corresponds to the number of the first radio frequency links used by the terminal, and the other value corresponds to the total number of the first radio frequency links used by the terminal and the idle second radio frequency links used by the terminal.
The basic idea of the embodiment of the present application is that a terminal needs to report two values of the antenna capability of the terminal to a first network device, and report an application scenario of the two values, that is, a corresponding relationship between the application scenario and the antenna capability value, so that the first network device can only know the capability of the terminal to change the values of the antenna capability, and can only determine the values of the antenna capability of the terminal in different application scenarios, and receive an uplink signal by using a correct value, thereby correctly receiving and analyzing data.
Based on the above description and the communication system architecture shown in fig. 2, with reference to fig. 5, one of the communication methods provided in the embodiments of the present application is described in detail below.
Step 501, the terminal reports the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the network device, and the network device receives the uplink communication capability of the terminal reported by the terminal.
For convenience of description, the network device is a first network device.
As described above, when the first network device is the primary base station, the reporting, by the terminal, the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the first network device refers to: the terminal directly reports the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the first network equipment, and the first network equipment directly receives the uplink communication capability reported by the terminal. When the second network device is the master base station, the reporting, by the terminal, the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the first network device means that: and the terminal reports the uplink communication capacity of the terminal to the first network equipment through the second network equipment. The first network device receiving the uplink communication capability of the terminal reported by the terminal means: and the first network equipment receives the uplink communication capacity of the terminal reported by the terminal through the second network equipment. Specifically, the terminal reports the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the second network device, and after receiving the uplink communication capability of the terminal, the second network device transmits the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the first network device through the X2 interface.
The uplink communication capability of the terminal comprises: the antenna capability when the terminal sends the signal to the first network equipment, and the application scene of the antenna capability. The value of the antenna capacity comprises a first value and a second value, and the application scene of the antenna capacity comprises: the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode and the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode. If the terminal receives the configuration information sent by the first network equipment or the second network equipment, the terminal is indicated to be configured with a time division multiplexing mode; and if the terminal does not receive the configuration information sent by the first network equipment or the second network equipment, the terminal is indicated not to be configured with the time division multiplexing mode. Wherein the configuration information is used for configuring the time division multiplexing mode. Specifically, the uplink communication capability of the terminal indicates: when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the antenna capacity when the terminal sends signals to the first network equipment comprises a first value; and when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the antenna capability of the terminal when sending the signal to the first network equipment comprises a second value. The first value and the second value are quantity values, and the antenna capability of the terminal when sending a signal to the first network device includes the first value and also includes the meaning of the first value, for example, the first value is used for the number of antenna ports, or for the number of layers, and the like; similarly, the antenna capability of the terminal when sending a signal to the first network device includes a second value and also includes a meaning of the second value, for example, the second value is used for the number of antenna ports, or for the number of layers, and the like. For example, the first value is 1, and the uplink communication capability indication reported by the terminal is as follows: the antenna capability of the terminal when sending a signal to the first network device is 1 port (i.e. one port) or 1 layer (i.e. one layer); the second value is 2, and the uplink communication capacity reported by the terminal indicates that: the antenna capability when the terminal sends signals to the first network device is 2 ports (i.e. two ports) or 2 layers (i.e. two layers).
Representations of antenna capabilities may include, but are not limited to: the number of antenna ports, the number of layers, the number of radio frequency links, the number of antennas, the maximum number of antenna ports, the maximum number of layers, the maximum number of radio frequency links, or the maximum number of antennas, in one possible implementation, the first value of the antenna capability may be a combination of values of multiple expression forms, and similarly, the second value of the antenna capability may also be a combination of values of multiple expression forms. Wherein the first value comprises: the values of the number of antenna ports, the number of layers, the number of radio frequency links, the number of antennas, the maximum number of antenna ports, the maximum number of layers, the maximum number of radio frequency links, or the maximum number of antennas, and the second value includes: the number of antenna ports, the number of layers, the number of radio frequency links, the number of antennas, the maximum number of antenna ports, the maximum number of layers, the maximum number of radio frequency links, or the maximum number of antennas. The first value may or may not include the same range of expressions as the second value. The first value and the second value may be values of the same expression form, for example, both are values of the maximum number of antenna ports, or both are values of the maximum number of layers; or values of different expression forms, for example, the first value is a value of the maximum number of antenna ports, and the second value is a value of the maximum number of layers.
Step 502, the terminal sends a signal to the first network device using the antenna capability, and the first network device receives the signal sent by the terminal.
Specifically, when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal uses the antenna capability of the first value to send a signal to the first network device. For example, the first value is a value of the maximum number of antenna ports, and the first value is 1, so that the terminal sends a signal to the first network device by using at most one antenna port; for another example, the first value is the value of the maximum layer number, and the first value is 1, so that the terminal sends a layer of data to the first network device at most when performing uplink transmission.
And when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal sends a signal to the first network equipment by using the antenna capability with the second value. For example, the second value is a value of the maximum number of antenna ports, and the second value is 2, then the terminal sends a signal to the first network device by using at most two antenna ports; for another example, the second value is the value of the maximum layer number, and the second value is 2, so that the terminal sends two layers of data to the first network device at most when performing uplink transmission.
One of the above communication methods describes that the time division multiplexing mode is configured by the main base station to the terminal, specifically configured by the first network device or the second network device to the terminal. The time division multiplexing mode is used for indicating time resources allowing signals to be sent to the second network equipment and time resources not allowing signals to be sent to the second network equipment to the terminal, in order to avoid interference, the terminal does not send signals to the first network equipment on the time resources allowing signals to be sent to the second network equipment, and the terminal can send signals to the first network equipment on the time resources not allowing signals to be sent to the second network equipment. In this way, the terminal may transmit a signal to only one of the first network device and the second network device on the same time resource according to the time division multiplexing mode, thereby avoiding intermodulation interference. The intermodulation interference is interference that may be generated by a signal transmitted to a second network device when a terminal simultaneously transmits signals to a first network device and the second network device.
Based on this, in an application scenario where the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the value of the antenna capability of the terminal includes a first value, that is, the terminal always uses the radio frequency link corresponding to the first network device to send a signal to the first network device. For example, the first value is 1, and the terminal sends a signal to the first network device using one radio frequency link corresponding to the first network device, that is, the terminal sends a signal to the first network device using one antenna port corresponding to the first network device.
In an application scenario that the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the value of the antenna capability of the terminal includes a second value, and the second value is greater than the first value, that is, the terminal jointly uses the radio frequency link corresponding to the first network device and the idle radio frequency link of the second network device to send a signal to the first network device. Specifically, in an application scenario where the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal does not send a signal to the second network device on the time resource of sending the signal to the first network device, so that the radio frequency link between the terminal and the second network device is idle, and the terminal can combine the radio frequency link between the terminal and the second network device with the radio frequency link corresponding to the first network device to send the signal to the first network device. The radio frequency link corresponds to the antenna port, for example, the second value is 2, and the terminal uses one antenna port (assumed as antenna port 2) to send a signal to the second network device on the time resource that the terminal allows sending the signal to the second network device; on a time resource where the terminal does not allow the signal to be transmitted to the second network device, the terminal transmits the signal to the first network device using two antenna ports, which include antenna port 2 and antenna port 1. That is, in an application scenario where the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, a value of the antenna capability when the terminal transmits a signal to the first network device is 2. This value may mean that the terminal always uses two antenna ports (including antenna port 1 and antenna port 2) to transmit signals to the first network device, or may mean that the terminal uses at most two antenna ports to transmit signals to the first network device. When a maximum of two antenna ports are used, the terminal may transmit signals to the first network device using only antenna port 1.
The first value and the second value are only examples, and the first value may also be other values, for example, the first value is 2, 4, or 8 … …; likewise, the second value may also be other values, for example, the second value is 4, 8, 16, … ….
The time resource may refer to any one or a combination of a subframe, a slot and a symbol.
With reference to the description of the point-to-time division multiplexing mode in the above-mentioned 5), in one possible implementation manner, in an application scenario where the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the first network device or the second network device may further send configuration information to the terminal, the terminal may receive the configuration information sent by the first network device or the second network device, where the configuration information includes a subframe assignment-r15, the subframe assignment-r15 is used to indicate a TDM pattern, and the terminal determines the TDM pattern according to the subframe assignment-r 15. Of course, the time division multiplexing mode may also be indicated by other parameters, which are not limited in the embodiment of the present application.
The following describes a specific method for reporting the uplink communication capability of the terminal in step 501 of one of the above communication methods, which may be reported by using the following method one or method two.
In the first method, a terminal sends a first message to a first network device or a second network device, where the first message may be an RRC message, and the first message carries an uplink communication capability of the terminal.
It should be noted that, as described above, the target device for the terminal to report the uplink communication capability is the first network device, and if the first network device is the master base station, the terminal may directly send the first message to the first network device. If the second network device is the master base station, the terminal sends the first message to the first network device through the second network device, specifically, the terminal sends the first message to the second network device first, and the second network device sends the first message to the first network device.
An Information Element (IE) in the first message is used to indicate the uplink communication capability of the terminal, and the IE is represented by the first IE. The IE refers to a set of information, such as quality of service (QoS) definition, establishment parameters, and user identifier. The IE may also be referred to as RRC parameter, RRC variable. The type of this IE may be an enumerated type. For example, the IE is represented in the form: an uplink communication capability-enumeration type { capability 1, capability 2, … … capability n }, where capability 1 to capability n are n enumerated uplink communication capabilities, and one of the capabilities is the uplink communication capability reported by the terminal in step 501. Optionally, the first message further includes an additional description, where the application scenario describing the antenna capability is when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, or the application scenario describing the antenna capability is when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode. The additional description may be described by words, or may be indicated by newly adding an RRC parameter.
For example, if the antenna capability is expressed in the form of the maximum number of antenna ports, the uplink communication capability of the terminal includes: when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal sends signals to the first network equipment comprises a first value, and when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal sends signals to the first network equipment comprises a second value.
If the first value is 1 and the second value is 2, the representation of the IE may be antennaPortCapability
ENUMERATED { oneAntenAport, twoAntenAport, onePlusOnenaport }. Wherein, the antennaPortCapability represents the antenna port capability, i.e. the uplink communication capability of the terminal, and is the name of the RRC signaling; the ENUMERATED indicates that the type of the IE is an ENUMERATED type, and the value of the antenna port capability is any one of ENUMERATED values; oneantenna port represents that the antenna port capability is a single antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 1; the twoAntennaPort represents that the antenna port capability is a double-antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 2; the oneplus oneantenna port indicates that the antenna port capability is converted into a dual antenna port, that is, the maximum number of antenna ports when the terminal supports sending signals with the first network device is converted from the single antenna port into the dual antenna port, and it can be understood that, in this case, when the single antenna port is used when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, and when the dual antenna port is used when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the application scenario of the antenna capability can also be indicated through additional description.
If the first value is 2 and the second value is 4, the representation of the IE may be antennaPortCapability
ENUMERATED { oneAnnenna Port, twoAnnenna Port, onePlusOneAnnenna Port, twoPlusTwoAnnenna Port }. Wherein, the antennaPortCapability represents the antenna port capability, i.e. the uplink communication capability of the terminal, and is the name of the RRC signaling; the ENUMERATED indicates that the type of the IE is an ENUMERATED type, and the value of the antenna port capability is any one of ENUMERATED values; oneantenna port represents that the antenna port capability is a single antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 1; the twoAntennaPort represents that the antenna port capability is a double-antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 2; the fourAntennaPort indicates that the antenna port capability is 4 antenna ports, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 4; the oneplus oneantenna port indicates that the antenna port capability is 1 to 2, that is, the maximum number of antenna ports when the terminal supports sending signals with the first network device is converted from a single antenna port to a double antenna port, and it can be understood that, in this case, the single antenna port is used when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, and the double antenna port is used when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode; the twoplusstwoantennaport indicates that the antenna port capability is converted into a 4-antenna port, that is, the maximum number of antenna ports when the terminal supports signal transmission with the first network device is converted from 2 to 4, and it can be understood that, in this case, when the dual-antenna port is used when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, and the 4-antenna port is used when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the application scenario of the antenna capability may also be indicated by an additional description.
The second method,
The terminal sends a second message to the first network device or the second network device, where the second message may be an RRC message, and the second message carries the uplink communication capability of the terminal.
It should be noted that, as described above, the target device for the terminal to report the uplink communication capability is the first network device, and if the first network device is the master base station, the terminal may directly send the second message to the first network device. If the second network device is the master base station, the terminal sends the second message to the first network device through the second network device, specifically, the terminal sends the second message to the second network device first, and the second network device sends the second message to the first network device.
Two IEs in the second message are used to indicate the uplink communication capability of the terminal. The two IEs are represented by a second IE and a third IE, respectively. The type of the second IE may be an enumerated type. For example, the IE is represented in the form: an uplink communication capability-enumeration type { capability 1, capability 2, … … capability n }, where the capabilities 1 to n are n enumerated uplink communication capabilities, and the capabilities 1 to n do not include the uplink communication capability reported by the terminal in step 501. The type of the third IE may be a boolean type, for example the third IE is represented in the form: upstream communication capability-boolean type. The uplink communication capability indicated in the third IE is the uplink communication capability reported by the terminal in step 501, the boolean type is yes or no, if the boolean type is yes, the representation terminal supports the uplink communication capability, and if the boolean type is no, the representation terminal does not support the uplink communication capability. Optionally, the second message further includes an additional description, where the application scenario describing the antenna capability is when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, or the application scenario describing the antenna capability is when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode. The additional description may be described by words, or may be indicated by newly adding an RRC parameter.
For example, if the antenna capability is expressed in the form of the maximum number of antenna ports, the uplink communication capability of the terminal includes: when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the maximum antenna port number when the terminal sends signals to the first network equipment comprises a first value, and when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the maximum antenna port number when the terminal sends signals to the first network equipment keeps a second value.
If the first value is 1 and the second value is 2, the representation form of the second IE may be antennaPortCapability
ENUMERATED { oneAntennaport, twoAntennaPort }, or antennaPort capability
ENUMERATED { oneAntenAport, twoAntenAport, fourAntenAport }. Wherein, the antennaPortCapability represents the antenna port capability, i.e. the uplink communication capability of the terminal, and is the name of the RRC signaling; the estimated indicates that the type of the second IE is an ENUMERATED type, and the value of the antenna port capability is any one of ENUMERATED values; oneantenna port represents that the antenna port capability is a single antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 1; the twoAntennaPort represents that the antenna port capability is a double-antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 2; the fourAntennaPort indicates that the antenna port capability is 4 antenna ports, that is, the maximum number of antenna ports when the terminal supports transmitting signals with the first network device is 4. The third IE may be expressed in the form of an oneplus oneantenna port bootlean, where the oneplus oneantenna port indicates that the antenna port capability is converted from a single antenna port to a dual antenna port, that is, the maximum number of antenna ports when the terminal supports sending signals with the first network device is converted from the single antenna port to the dual antenna port, and it can be understood that, in this case, when the single antenna port is used when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, and when the dual antenna port is used when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the application scenario of the antenna capability may also be indicated by an additional description. BOOLEAN indicates that the type of the third IE is a Boolean type, when the BOOLEAN value is yes, the terminal supports the antenna port capability of onePlusOneAntenna port, and when the BOOLEAN value is no, the terminal does not support the antenna port capability of onePlusOneAntenna port. It is to be understood that the third IE indicates that the antenna port capability supporting oneplus oneantenna port is valid only if the enumerated type of the second IE takes the value of twoantenna port or fourantenna port.
If the first value is 2 and the second value is 4, the representation form of the second IE may be antennaPortCapability
ENUMERATED { oneANTENTENNAPort, twoANTENNAPORPort, fourANTENTENNAPORPort }, wherein antennaPort capability denotes an antenna port capability, i.e., an uplink communication capability of a terminal, and is a name of the RRC signaling; the estimated indicates that the type of the second IE is an ENUMERATED type, and the value of the antenna port capability is any one of ENUMERATED values; oneantenna port represents that the antenna port capability is a single antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 1; the twoAntennaPort represents that the antenna port capability is a double-antenna port, namely the maximum number of the antenna ports when the terminal supports to send signals with the first network equipment is 2; the fourAntennaPort indicates that the antenna port capability is 4 antenna ports, that is, the maximum number of antenna ports when the terminal supports transmitting signals with the first network device is 4. The third IE may be represented in the form of twoplstwoantennaport BOOLEAN, where the twoplstwoantennaport indicates that the antenna port capability is converted into a 4-antenna port, that is, the maximum number of antenna ports when the terminal supports signal transmission with the first network device is converted from 2 to 4, and it can be understood that in this case, when the dual-antenna port is used when the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, and when the 4-antenna port is used when the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the application scenario of the antenna capability may also be indicated by additional description. BOOLEAN indicates that the type of the third IE is a Boolean type, when the BOOLEAN value is yes, the terminal supports the antenna port capability of the twolten antenna port, and when the BOOLEAN value is no, the terminal does not support the antenna port capability of the twolten antenna port. It is to be appreciated that the third IE indicates that antenna port capability is valid for twwpluusstwoantennaport only if the enumerated type of the second IE takes the value of fourAntennaPort.
It should be noted that the second IE and the third IE may be carried in the second message for transmission, or may be carried in two messages for transmission.
For example, the representation form of the antenna capability of the terminal for sending signals to the first network device is layer number, and in the MIMO-related capability reporting, the terminal may report the uplink communication capability to the first network device by the following method. And the terminal reports the value of maxNumberMIMO-LayersCB-PUSCH and maxNumberMIMO-LayersNonCB-PUSCH as twoLayers and adds an explanation, wherein the capability is used for the communication capability when the terminal configures the TDM pattern. The terminal can also report another set of parameters, configure the value of maxNumberbMIMO-LayerSCB-PUSCH and maxNumberbMIMO-LayerNonCB-PUSCH as oneLayer, and add an explanation, wherein the capability is used for the communication capability when the terminal is not configured with TDM pattern. The description may be described by words, or may be indicated by newly adding an RRC parameter. For example, a new RRC parameter is used ENUMRATED { TDM, nonTDM }.
In one of the above communication methods, the uplink communication capability reported by the terminal to the network device includes two values of the antenna capability. Taking the antenna capability when the terminal sends a signal to the first network device as the maximum number of antenna ports as an example, two values are 1 and 2, namely a single port and a dual port. If the means of the prior art is adopted, the antenna capacity reported by the terminal to the network device is a single port, the terminal always supports at most a single port to send uplink signals, and the antenna capacity reported by the terminal to the network device is a double port, the terminal always supports at most a double port to send uplink signals. In one of the communication methods provided in this application embodiment, when the terminal sends a signal to the first network device, a value of an antenna capability changes between a single port and a dual port, if the terminal adopts a reporting mode in the prior art, when the reporting antenna capability is the single port, the network device may not schedule the terminal to perform dual port transmission, that is, the beneficial effect of using an idle radio frequency link that is required to be achieved in this application embodiment cannot be achieved, if the terminal adopts the reporting mode in the prior art, and when the reporting antenna capability is the dual port, the network device may not distinguish whether the terminal can always use dual port to send a signal or opportunistic can use dual port to send a signal. Therefore, by using the reporting method described in one of the above communication methods, the terminal can report the antenna capabilities of the two values and the application scenario of the antenna capabilities of the two values to the first network device.
Further, as shown in fig. 6, if the terminal is configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal can only send an uplink signal to one of the first network device and the second network device at the same time, so that the value of the antenna capability is always the second value in the duration that the signal is allowed to be sent to the first network device, and the value of the antenna capability is considered to be 0 in the duration that the signal is not allowed to be sent to the first network device. If the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal always uses the antenna capability of the first value to send a signal to the first network device, that is, the value of the antenna capability is the first value. Generally, the second value is greater than the first value.
Based on the same inventive concept, as shown in fig. 7, the embodiment of the present application further provides a second communication method.
Step 701, the terminal reports the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the network device, and the network device receives the uplink communication capability of the terminal reported by the terminal.
For convenience of description, the network device in this step is the first network device. When the first network device is the master base station, the reporting, by the terminal, the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the first network device means that: the terminal directly reports the uplink communication capability of the terminal to the first network equipment, and the first network equipment directly receives the uplink communication capability reported by the terminal.
The uplink communication capability of the terminal comprises: on a first time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the antenna capacity when the terminal sends a signal to the first network equipment is a first value; and on a second time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the antenna capacity when the terminal sends the signal to the first network equipment is a second value.
Step 702, the terminal uses the antenna capability to send a signal to the first network device, and the first network device receives the signal sent by the terminal.
Specifically, on a first time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal uses the antenna capability of the first value to send a signal to the first network device. For example, the first value is a value of the maximum number of antenna ports, and the first value is 1, so that the terminal sends a signal to the first network device by using at most one antenna port; for another example, the first value is the value of the maximum number of layers, and the first value is 1, so that the terminal sends a layer of data to the first network device at most when performing uplink transmission.
And on a second time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal sends a signal to the first network equipment by using the antenna capability of the second value.
The time division multiplexing mode according to the second embodiment of the communication method can be described with reference to the above-mentioned point 5). The time division multiplexing mode in the second communication method is configured by the main base station to the terminal, specifically configured by the first network device or the second network device to the terminal.
In a possible implementation manner, the time division multiplexing mode described in the second communication method is used to indicate to the terminal the time resource for allowing transmission of the signal to the second network device and the time resource for not allowing transmission of the signal to the second network device, and to avoid interference, the terminal does not transmit the signal to the first network device on the time resource for allowing transmission of the signal to the second network device, and the terminal may transmit the signal to the first network device on the time resource for not allowing transmission of the signal to the second network device. In this way, the terminal may transmit a signal to only one of the first network device and the second network device on the same time resource according to the time division multiplexing mode, thereby avoiding intermodulation interference. For example, as in the above-mentioned example in point 5), the tdmp pattern is indicated by the parameter subframe assignment-r15, and the TDM pattern can ensure that the terminal only transmits the uplink signal to the LTE side or only transmits the uplink signal to the NR side at the same time. In this possible implementation manner, the function of the time division multiplexing mode includes indicating to the terminal whether to allow sending a signal to the second network device, the second communication method in the embodiment of the present application expands the role or function of the time division multiplexing mode, and the function of the time division multiplexing mode further includes conversion of an antenna capability value. Specifically, the first network device or the second network device sends configuration information to the terminal, where the configuration information is used to indicate the time division multiplexing mode and a function of the time division multiplexing mode to be conversion of an antenna capability value. The function may also be referred to as a use or an effect. For example, the configuration information indicates that the function of the time division multiplexing mode is to convert the values of the layer number, and the configuration information may be: BOOLEAN RRC parameter, usedForLayerChange. Alternatively, the configuration information may also be: the estimated RRC parameter, useofsubframe assignment-r15, takes a value of { LayerChange, IMD }, and when taking the value of LayerChange, the function of representing the configuration information is used for conversion of layer number values, and when taking the value of IMD, the function of representing the configuration information is used for avoiding intermodulation interference. The TDM pattern is configured to indicate, to the terminal, a time resource (denoted as a first time resource) for allowing transmission of a signal to the second network device and a time resource (denoted as a second time resource) for not allowing transmission of a signal to the second network device. For example, the terminal may send a signal to the second network device in the uplink subframe indicated by the TDM pattern, and the terminal may not send a signal to the second network device in the downlink subframe indicated by the TDM pattern. On a first time resource where the terminal allows to send a signal to the second network device, the radio frequency link between the terminal and the second network device is not idle, which is that the terminal uses the antenna capability of the first value to send a signal to the first network device. On a second time resource where the terminal does not allow to send a signal to the second network device, the radio frequency link between the terminal and the second network device is idle, so that the terminal can jointly use the radio frequency link corresponding to the second network device to jointly use the radio frequency link corresponding to the first network device to send a signal to the first network device, and the terminal can use the antenna capability of the second value to send a signal to the first network device when the radio frequency link corresponds to the antenna port. The second value includes a sum of the first value and a corresponding radio frequency link value of the second network device. For example, the first value is 1, the second value is 2, the terminal uses a single port to send a signal to the first network device on the first time resource, and the terminal uses a dual port to send a signal to the first network device on the second time resource. For another example, the first value is 2, the second value is 4, on the first time resource, the terminal uses two antenna ports to transmit signals to the first network device, and on the second time resource, the terminal uses four antenna ports to transmit signals to the first network device.
In another possible implementation, the time division multiplexing mode described in the second communication method is exclusively indicated by a new parameter, rather than multiplexing the subframe assignment-r15 in the prior art. In this possible implementation, the time division multiplexing mode is used exclusively for indicating to the terminal a change of the antenna capability values. For example, the configuration information indicates that the function of the time division multiplexing mode is to convert the values of the layer number, and the configuration information may be: BOOLEAN RRC parameter, usedForLayerChange.
Based on this, on the first time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the value of the antenna capability of the terminal includes the first value, that is, the terminal always uses the radio frequency link corresponding to the first network device to send a signal to the first network device. For example, the first value is 1, and the terminal sends a signal to the first network device using one radio frequency link corresponding to the first network device, that is, the terminal sends a signal to the first network device using one antenna port corresponding to the first network device. Optionally, if the function of the time division multiplexing mode does not include avoiding intermodulation interference, the terminal may further use the radio frequency link corresponding to the second network device to send a signal to the second network device on the first time resource.
And on a second time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the value of the antenna capacity of the terminal comprises a second value, and the second value is larger than the first value, namely the terminal jointly uses the radio frequency link corresponding to the first network equipment and the idle radio frequency link of the second network equipment to send signals to the first network equipment. The radio frequency link corresponds to the antenna port, for example, the second value is 2, and on the first time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal uses one antenna port (assumed to be antenna port 1) to send a signal to the first network device, and uses one antenna port (assumed to be antenna port 2) to send a signal to the second network device; on a second time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal uses two antenna ports (including antenna port 1 and antenna port 2) to transmit signals to the first network device. That is, on the second time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, the value of the antenna capability when the terminal sends a signal to the first network device is 2.
The time resource may refer to a subframe, or a slot, or a symbol.
In the second communication method, the specific method for the terminal to report the uplink communication capability of the terminal in step 701 may adopt the first method and the second method, and specific details refer to the description in the first communication method and are not described again.
In the second communication method, the uplink communication capability reported by the terminal to the first network device includes two values of the antenna capability. In the second communication method provided in this embodiment of the present application, when the terminal sends a signal to the first network device, the value of the antenna capability changes between a single port and a dual port, if the terminal adopts the reporting mode in the prior art, when the reporting antenna capability is a single port, the network device may not schedule the terminal to send the dual port, that is, the beneficial effect of using the idle radio frequency link that is required to be achieved in this embodiment of the present application cannot be achieved, if the terminal adopts the reporting mode in the prior art, when the reporting antenna capability is a dual port, the network device may not distinguish whether the terminal always uses a dual port to send a signal or opportunistically uses a dual port to send a signal. Therefore, by using the reporting method described in the second communication method, the terminal can report the antenna capabilities of the two values and the application scenario of the antenna capabilities of the two values to the first network device.
Further, as shown in fig. 8, the terminal is configured with a time division multiplexing mode, where a value of the antenna capability is always a first value on a first time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode, and a value of the antenna capability is a second value on a second time resource indicated by the time division multiplexing mode. If the terminal is not configured with the time division multiplexing mode, the terminal always uses the antenna capability of the first value to send a signal to the first network device, that is, the value of the antenna capability is the first value. Generally, the second value is greater than the first value.
Through the first communication method and the second communication method, the terminal reports the uplink communication capacity of the terminal to the network equipment, and the network equipment determines that the terminal supports conversion from the value of one antenna capacity to the value of the other antenna capacity through the uplink communication capacity reported by the terminal. For example, the terminal uses the first antenna port to send a signal to the first network device, uses the second antenna port to send a signal to the second network device, and if the terminal supports the antenna capability that is converted from the single port to the dual port, when the second antenna port is idle, the terminal may opportunistically use the second antenna port in conjunction with the first antenna port to send a signal to the first network device. Therefore, sharing of the radio frequency link or the antenna port can be achieved, the utilization rate of the radio frequency link or the antenna port is improved, the uplink transmission rate is improved, and therefore the communication capacity is improved.
