In many machines with position sensing, roller travel switches are typically used to control the position of the moving parts, and the range of motion can be controlled to within a safe and effective range by the roller travel switches. The conventional roller type travel switches can be classified into mechanical contact type roller type travel switches (direct-acting type, roller type and microswitch type) and non-contact type (photoelectric type and induction type) according to structures, wherein the single-roller type limit switch with the contact type roller type travel switch having the automatic reset function is widely applied.
