Abstract
本发明公开了一种行李箱壳体的制造方法,包含利用真空成型工艺将热塑性塑料片材制成一壳体,并将壳体设置于一具有内凹模区的加热模具,接着将热固性塑料层设置于壳体内表面,之后将热固性塑料层朝向壳体内表面挤压,并同时加热热固性塑料层及壳体,使得壳体与热固性塑料层相互结合以制成行李箱壳体的步骤。

技术领域
本发明涉及行李箱,特别是一种行李箱壳体的制造方法。
背景技术
目前市面上贩卖的行李箱通常为热塑性塑料或是铝镁合金的材质制成,以热塑性塑料制成的行李箱来说,行李箱通常会由两个半壳体所组合而成,制造商通常会在半壳体内侧缝上布料,并将两个半壳体相互枢接,并组装上轮子及手把以制成行李箱成品,其中,当行李箱于机场运输线运送时,可能会面临碰撞以及掉落的状况,因此,某些热塑性塑料(例如ABS树脂)制成的行李箱可能会有破裂损坏的情形发生,进而造成旅者的不便,甚至需要再购买新的行李箱进行替换,因此,常用的行李箱仍有其缺点,而有待改善。
发明内容
据此,本发明的主要目的在于提供一种行李箱壳体的制造方法,该方法制造的行李箱具有结构强度较佳的优点。
该行李箱壳体的制造方法包含以下步骤:步骤A.利用真空成型工艺(vacuummolding method)将一热塑性塑料片材制成一壳体,该壳体具有一外表面、一内表面以及一由该内表面围绕出的容置区;步骤B.提供一具有一内凹模区的加热模具,将该壳体设置于该内凹模区并使该壳体的外表面对应该内凹模区的内壁面;步骤C.将一热固性塑料层设置于该壳体的内表面;以及步骤D.将一气囊设置于该壳体的容置区,并使该气囊膨胀撑抵该热固性塑料层,同时使该加热模具向该内凹模区内的该壳体及该热固性塑料层进行加热,使得该壳体及该热固性塑料层相互结合以制成行李箱壳体。
优选地,于步骤D中,该内凹模区加热的温度介于140度~150度之间。
优选地,于步骤A中,该热塑性塑料片材为透明材质。
优选地,于步骤A或步骤B中,亦包含将一图案以喷漆、印刷或贴标签地方式设置于该壳体的内表面的步骤。
优选地,于步骤A中,该真空成型工艺(vacuum molding method)为提供一具有一模具(mold body)的真空成型设备(vacuum molding device),并将该热塑性塑料片材放入该真空成型设备进行加热软化,接着该真空成型设备产生负压使该热塑性塑料片材贴附于该模具表面以制成该壳体。
优选地,于步骤C中,该热固性塑料层为熔融状态。
优选地,于步骤D中,该热固性塑料层经该加热模具加热后,固化并黏接于该壳体的内表面。
优选地,于步骤D之后,还包含一步骤E,将该气囊移出该壳体的容置区,并将该行李箱壳体进行冷却。
综合上述说明,通过将热固性塑料层结合于该壳体的内表面,可补强该壳体的结构强度,不易因外力碰撞或摔落而导致破损,并且此种制造方法可根据需求的不同,将热固性塑料层设置于该壳体内表面的特定位置(例如四个角落处)做局部的补强,不一定要将热固性塑料层铺满整个壳体的内表面,据此,不仅达到补强结构强度的功能,亦能减低行李箱壳体的整体重量。
有关本发明所提供的详细构造、特点,将于后续的实施方式详细说明中予以描述。然而,在本领域中具有通常知识者应能了解,该等详细说明以及实施本发明所列举的特定实施例,仅用于说明本发明,并非用以限制本发明的专利申请范围。

具体实施方式
为使本发明的目的、技术方案和优点更加清楚明白,以下结合具体实施例,并参照附图,对本发明作进一步的详细说明。
本发明一优选实施例所提供行李箱壳体100的制造方法,包含以下步骤:
请参考第1~2图,步骤A中,首先利用真空成型工艺(vacuum molding method)将一热塑性塑料片材10制成一壳体20,壳体20具有一外表面22、一内表面24以及一由内表面24围绕出的容置区26,热塑性塑料片材10的材料选自PP聚丙烯、ABS树脂(AcrylonitrileButadiene Styrene)、PC聚碳酸酯或是其组合,当然其它的热塑性塑料或是热塑性塑料的组合亦为本发明所涵盖;更进一步来说,本实施例中所提供的真空成型工艺(亦称吸塑工艺),提供一种具有一模具42(mold body)的真空成型设备40(vacuum molding device),模具42为公模,并且公模上可设置其他辅助模具(例如凸条)以制造出不同外形的壳体20,其中,需将热塑性塑料片材10放入真空成型设备40进行加热软化,接着真空成型设备40随即产生负压使热塑性塑料片材10贴附于模具42表面以制成壳体20,其中,真空成型设备40加热软化热塑性塑料片材10以及产生负压使热塑性塑料片材10贴附于模具42表面以制成壳体20的技术内容为公知技术,于此不再赘述,值得一提的是,通常利用真空成型设备40制作成壳体20时,壳体20的周围会留下料边28,如第2图所示,因此通常会进行二度加工以切除料边28,以形成如第3图所示的壳体20。
接着进行步骤B,请参考第4~5图,提供一加热模具50,加热模具50具有一内凹模区52,内凹模区52的内壁面54对应壳体20的外表面22,接着将壳体20设置于内凹模区52内,并使壳体20的外表面22对应内凹模区52的内壁面54。
另外,于其它优选实施例中,如欲在壳体20上显示图案(例如商标或是造型图案),于步骤A中可选择透明材质的热塑性塑料片材10,再将热塑性塑料片材10制成壳体20,并在步骤A或步骤B中,将一图案以喷漆、印刷或贴标签地方式设置于壳体20的内表面24。
接着进行步骤C,请参考第6图,将一熔融状态的热固性塑料层30设置于壳体20的内表面24,其中,热固性塑料层30的材料选自环氧树脂(Epoxy resin)或聚酯(Polyester),当然其它的热固性塑料或是热固性塑料的组合亦为本发明所涵盖,于本优选实施例中,热固性塑料层30设置于壳体20的全部内表面24,于其它优选实施例中,热固性塑料层30亦可只设置于壳体20内表面24的特定位置,例如四个角落的地方以补强壳体20最容易破损的地方。
最后进行步骤D,请参考第7~8图,提供一气囊设备60,气囊设备60具有一可膨胀的气囊62,其中,将气囊62设置于壳体20的容置区26,并使气囊62膨胀并撑抵设置于壳体20内表面24的热固性塑料层30,使热固性塑料层30紧抵于壳体20的内表面24,同时使加热模具50向内凹模区52内的壳体20及热固性塑料层30进行加热,其中优选的加热温度介于摄氏140度~150度之间,使得热固性塑料层30固化并黏接于壳体20的内表面24,进而使壳体20与热固性塑料层30相互结合以制成行李箱壳体100。
优选地,还包含一步骤E,请参考第9图,将气囊62移出壳体20的容置区26,并将行李箱壳体100进行冷却,即可完成行李箱壳体100的制造程序。
综合上述说明,通过将热固性塑料层30结合于壳体20的内表面24,可补强壳体20的结构强度,不易因外力碰撞或摔落而导致破损,并且本发明所提供的制造方法可根据需求的不同,将热固性塑料层30设置于壳体20内表面24的特定位置(例如四个角落处)做局部的补强,不一定要将热固性塑料层30设置于壳体20的全部内表面24,据此,不仅达到补强结构强度的功能,亦能减低行李箱壳体100的整体重量。
最后必须再次说明,本发明于前揭实施例中所揭露的构成组件,仅为举例说明,并非用来限制本案的范围,其他等效组件的替代或变化,亦应为本案的申请专利范围所涵盖。

Claims (8)
1.一种行李箱壳体的制造方法,其由步骤A至步骤D所组成:
所述步骤A.利用真空成型工艺(vacuum molding method)将一热塑性塑料片材制成一壳体,该壳体具有一外表面、一内表面以及一由该内表面围绕出的容置区;
所述步骤B.提供一具有一内凹模区的加热模具,将该壳体设置于该内凹模区并使该壳体的外表面对应该内凹模区的内壁面;
所述步骤C.将一熔融状态热固性塑料层设置于该壳体的全部内表面或者该壳体的内表面的特定位置;以及
所述步骤D.将一气囊设置于该壳体的容置区,并使该气囊膨胀撑抵该热固性塑料层,同时使该加热模具向内凹模区内的该壳体及该热固性塑料层进行加热,使得该壳体及该热固性塑料层相互结合以制成一行李箱壳体。
2.如权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于,于步骤D中,该内凹模区加热的温度介于140度~150度之间。
3.如权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于,于步骤A中,该热塑性塑料片材为透明材质。
4.如权利要求3所述的制造方法,其特征在于,于步骤A或步骤B中,亦包含将一图案以喷漆、印刷或贴标签的方式设置于该壳体的内表面的步骤。
5.如权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于,于步骤A中,该真空成型工艺(vacuummolding method)为提供一具有一模具(mold body)的真空成型设备(vacuum moldingdevice),并将该热塑性塑料片材放入该真空成型设备进行加热软化,接着该真空成型设备产生负压使该热塑性塑料片材贴附于该模具表面以制成该壳体。
6.如权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于,于步骤C中,该热固性塑料层的材料选自环氧树脂或聚酯。
7.如权利要求6所述的制造方法,其特征在于,于步骤D中,该热固性塑料层经该加热模具加热后,固化并黏接于该壳体的内表面。
8.如权利要求1所述的制造方法,其特征在于,在步骤D之后,还包含一步骤E,将该气囊移出该壳体的容置区,并将该行李箱壳体进行冷却。
