The method and the system have the advantages that the corresponding plate information and the corresponding vehicle type image are read according to the input model information, the corresponding text option is set to be in the selected state when the client detects that the plate image is selected, the repair order is generated according to the set selected plate, the plate needing to be repaired is selected through the selected image, the repair order is generated after the text option is selected, the use experience of a user who does not know the plate name clearly is greatly improved, and the time for selecting the repair plate is greatly reduced.
