Abstract
The present invention provides a developer supply container, comprising: a container main body, one end of which is provided with a supply port; a driving gear formed on an outer circumference of the container body adjacent to the supply port; the first positioning ring is rotatably sleeved on the outer circumference of the container main body and is positioned at one side of the driving gear close to the supply port; the mounting seat is formed on one side of the first positioning ring, which is far away from the driving gear, and is provided with an information storage device; the first magnet is arranged on the first positioning ring; the second positioning ring is rotatably sleeved on the outer circumference of the container main body and is positioned at one side of the driving gear away from the supply port; the second magnet is arranged on the second positioning ring, and the magnetic poles of the second magnet are opposite to those of the first magnet. The developer supply container has the advantages of simple structure, convenient installation and good working stability.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a developer supply container detachably mountable to a developer receiving apparatus, capable of being used with an electrophotographic image forming apparatus (e.g., a copying machine, a facsimile machine, a printer, or a complex machine having a plurality of functions of the copying machine, the facsimile machine, and a printer).
Background
An electrophotographic image forming apparatus generally has an image processing unit and a developing unit, and develops an electrostatic latent image formed on the image processing unit with a developer (toner) such as carbon powder supplied from the developing unit to form a visible image on a medium such as paper. In which the developer is required to be constantly replenished into the electrophotographic image forming apparatus as a consumable. A supply container having a container accommodating a certain amount of developer, which is detachably mounted to a developing unit in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus, is generally used to supply the developer to the developing unit.
Referring to fig. 1 to 3, fig. 1 and 2 are first and second perspective structural views of a developer supply container detachably mountable to a developer replenishing apparatus as disclosed in the prior art, and fig. 3 is a partially exploded view of the developer supply container. The developer supply container 1 includes: a container body 11, the container body 11 being configured to convey the developer accommodated therein from a first end side to a second end side by rotation, and including a developer outlet 112 to discharge the developer outwardly from the second end side of the container body 11; a gear 111, the gear 111 being formed on an outer circumference of the second end side of the container body 11; a front end cover 12, the front end cover 12 being attached to the second end of the container body 11 in a relatively rotatable manner; and a cap 13, the cap 13 as a seal detachably closing the developer outlet 112. Wherein the front end of the front end cover 12 is provided with a holding structure 124, the holding structure 124 is used for holding the information storage device 14, and the information storage device 14 is used for recording the use state data of the developer supply container 1. Grooves 122 are arranged on both sides of the lower portion of the front cover 12, while the front cover 12 is symmetrically arranged with two quadrangular prism-shaped coupling holes 123 in the circumferential direction, and a gear exposing hole 121 is formed on the front cover 12, and a portion of the gear 111 is exposed from the gear exposing hole 121.
When this developer supply container 1 is loaded into the developer replenishing apparatus, it is necessary to remove the cap 13 of the developer supply container 1, and then the groove 122 of the front end cap 12 of the developer supply container 1 is engaged with the slide rail of the developer replenishing apparatus, thereby determining the orientation of the front end cap 12 in the developer replenishing apparatus, effecting positional adjustment between the quadrangular engagement hole 123 of the developer supply container 1 and the snap-fit piece of the developer replenishing apparatus in a smooth manner, causing the snap-fit piece of the developer replenishing apparatus to fall into the quadrangular engagement hole 123 of the developer supply container 1, and effecting positional adjustment between the information storage device 14 and the connector of the developer replenishing apparatus in a smooth manner, causing the information storage device 14 to be electrically connected to the connector of the developer replenishing apparatus. Meanwhile, the gear 111 exposed from the gear exposure hole 121 of the front cover 12 is engaged with the driving force transmission gear of the developer replenishing apparatus, so that the rotational driving force can be transmitted from the developer replenishing apparatus to the container body 11 of the developer supply container 1, the developer in the container body 11 is conveyed from the first end side to the second end side by the rotation of the container body 11, and then the developer is discharged from the second end side of the container body 11 to the outside through the developer outlet 112, thereby replenishing the developer to the developer replenishing apparatus.
However, when the conventional developer supply container 1 is rotated in the developer replenishing apparatus, the container main body 11 is liable to shake with the front cover 12, and the contact between the information storage device 14 on the front cover 12 and the developer replenishing apparatus is poor, so that the developer replenishing apparatus cannot effectively recognize the mounted developer supply container 1, and printing is affected.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the above problems, a primary object of the present invention is to provide a developer supply container which is simple in structure, convenient to install, and good in working stability.
In order to achieve the above-described main object, the present invention provides a developer supply container detachably mountable to a developer replenishing apparatus, the developer supply container comprising: a container body for accommodating developer, one end of the container body being provided with a supply port; a driving gear formed on an outer circumference of the container body adjacent to the supply port, the driving gear for receiving a rotational force for rotating the container body from the developer replenishing apparatus; the first positioning ring is rotatably sleeved on the outer circumference of the container main body and is positioned at one side of the driving gear close to the supply port; the mounting seat is formed on one side of the first positioning ring, which is far away from the driving gear, and is provided with an information storage device; the first magnet is arranged on the first positioning ring; the second positioning ring is rotatably sleeved on the outer circumference of the container main body and is positioned at one side of the driving gear away from the supply port; the second magnet is arranged on the second positioning ring, and the magnetic poles of the second magnet are opposite to those of the first magnet.
According to the scheme, the magnetic poles of the second magnet and the first magnet are opposite, so that the second magnet and the first magnet are always in a repulsive state, the relative positions of the first positioning ring and the second positioning ring in the circumferential direction of the container body are limited, and the second positioning ring is limited to move axially along the container body. When the developer supply container is stored, installed and operated, the second magnet and the first magnet are always in a repulsive state, so that the stability and reliability of the developer supply container are improved. Meanwhile, the developer supply container is simple in structure and practical, and the developer is effectively ensured to be continuously and uniformly supplied to the developer replenishing device. Meanwhile, good and effective contact and matching among the information storage device, the first positioning ring and the second positioning ring and the developer replenishing device are ensured, poor contact of the electrical contacts of the information storage device and the developer replenishing device is avoided, printing efficiency is affected, and therefore stability and reliability of operation of the developer supply container are improved.
Further, the first magnet and the second magnet are strong magnets, so that the stability and reliability of the developer supply container are greatly improved.
Further, the second positioning ring is provided with a sliding groove extending along the axial direction of the container body, and the sliding groove is movably matched with the sliding rail of the developer replenishing device.
In a further scheme, the second positioning ring is provided with a buckling groove, and the buckling piece of the developer replenishing device can enter the buckling groove.
In a further aspect, the first positioning ring extends on a side away from the driving gear to form a guide portion, and the guide portion is disposed at a position corresponding to the snap groove in the axial direction of the container body.
In a further scheme, a hooking groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the container main body, the hooking groove is located on one side, close to the supply port, of the driving gear, and the first positioning ring is provided with a cover hook in a radial extending mode and is hooked in the hooking groove.
Still further, the developer supply container further includes a sealing cover detachably covering the supply port.
In a further aspect, the first magnet and the second magnet are disposed at positions corresponding to each other in the axial direction of the container body.
Still further, the first magnet is located one side of the first positioning ring away from the supply port, and the first magnet extends to the mounting seat in the circumferential direction of the first positioning ring.
According to the scheme, the first magnet extends to the mounting seat in the circumferential direction of the first positioning ring, good and effective contact and matching between the information storage device and the developer replenishing device are further ensured, poor contact of the electrical contacts of the information storage device and the developer replenishing device is avoided, printing efficiency is affected, and therefore stability and reliability of operation of the developer supply container are improved.

The invention is further described below with reference to the drawings and examples.
Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 4 to 6, the developer supply container 2 is detachably mountable to the developer replenishing apparatus, the developer supply container 2 includes a container body 21, a first positioning ring 23, a first magnet 24, a second positioning ring 26, a second magnet 25, and a seal cover 22, the container body 21 encloses a substantially cylindrical cavity for accommodating the developer, a supply port 213 is opened at one end of the container body 21, a drive gear 211 is formed on an outer circumference of the container body 21 adjacent to the supply port 213, and the drive gear 211 is for receiving a rotational force for rotating the container body 21 from the developer replenishing apparatus, that is, the container body 21 is rotatable about its central axis in operation. The seal cover 22 as a seal is detachably covered on the supply port 213 of the container main body 21.
The first positioning ring 23 is rotatably fitted over the outer circumference of the container body 21, and the first positioning ring 23 is located on the side of the driving gear 211 near the supply port 213. Specifically, the container body 21 is formed with a hooking groove 212 on the outer peripheral surface of the side of the driving gear 211 near the supply port 213, the first positioning ring 23 is provided with a cover hook 233 extending in the radial direction, and the cover hook 233 of the first positioning ring 23 is hooked in the hooking groove 212 of the container body 21, thereby restricting the first positioning ring 23 from moving in the axial direction of the container body 21 while the first positioning ring 23 is rotatable relative to the container body 21. The first positioning ring 23 is formed with a mount 231 on a side remote from the drive gear 211, an information storage device 27 (chip) is mounted on the mount 231, the information storage device 27 is for recording usage status data of the developer supply container 2, and the information storage device 27 is electrically connectable with a developer replenishing device.
The first magnet 24 is disposed on the first positioning ring 23, and preferably, the first magnet 24 is located at a side of the first positioning ring 23 remote from the supply port 213, and the first magnet 24 extends to the mounting seat 231 in the circumferential direction of the first positioning ring 23.
The second positioning ring 26 is rotatably fitted over the outer circumference of the container body 21, and the second positioning ring 26 is located on the side of the driving gear 211 remote from the supply port 213. The second magnet 25 is provided on the second positioning ring 26, and the second magnet 25 is opposite to the first magnet 24 in magnetic polarity, and preferably, the first magnet 24 is provided corresponding to the second magnet 25 in position in the axial direction of the container body 21. The first magnet 24 and the second magnet 25 are strong magnets, and the second magnet 25 and the first magnet 24 are in a repulsive state, so that the relative positions of the first positioning ring 23 and the second positioning ring 26 in the circumferential direction of the container body 21 are limited, and the second positioning ring 26 is also limited to move axially along the container body 21.
The second positioning ring 26 is provided with a slide groove 261, the slide groove 261 extending in the axial direction of the container body 21, the slide groove 261 being movably engaged with a slide rail of the developer replenishing apparatus. Moreover, the second positioning ring 26 is provided with a buckling groove 262, and a buckling piece of the developer replenishing device can enter the buckling groove 262. The first positioning ring 23 has a guide portion 232 extending on a side away from the drive gear 211, and the guide portion 232 is provided corresponding to the position of the engagement groove 262 in the axial direction of the container body 21. When the developer supply container 2 is loaded into the developer replenishing apparatus, the catch of the developer replenishing apparatus comes into the catch groove 262 immediately after the guide 232.
The developer supply container 2 is covered with the sealing cover 22 on the supply port 213 of the container main body 21 before the developer replenishing apparatus is not mounted. When the developer supply container 2 is mounted in the developer replenishing apparatus, the seal cover 22 of the developer supply container 2 needs to be removed, and the developer supply container is moved into the developer replenishing apparatus along with the slide groove 261 of the second positioning ring 26 and the slide rail of the developer replenishing apparatus. During the moving engagement of the slide groove 261 and the slide rail, the snap-fit piece of the developer replenishing apparatus abuts against the guide portion 232 of the first positioning ring 23, and then enters into the snap-fit groove 262 of the second positioning ring 26, and the information storage device 27 on the first positioning ring 23 is electrically connected with the developer replenishing apparatus, i.e., the developer supply container 2 is mounted in place on the developer replenishing apparatus. Subsequently, the developer replenishing apparatus drives the driving gear 211 of the container body 21 to rotate the container body 21 around its center axis, and the developer in the container body 21 is fed out from the supply port 213 as the container body 21 rotates, so that the developer replenishing apparatus is continuously and uniformly supplied with the developer. When the developer supply container 2 is stored, mounted and operated, the second magnet 25 and the first magnet 24 are always in a repulsive state, so that the stability and reliability of the developer supply container 2 are improved.
The developer supply container 2 of the present invention is simple in structure and practical, and effectively ensures that the developer is continuously and uniformly supplied to the developer replenishing apparatus. At the same time, good and effective contact and matching among the information storage device 27, the first positioning ring 23 and the second positioning ring 26 and the developer replenishing device are ensured, poor contact of the electrical contacts of the information storage device 27 and the developer replenishing device is avoided, printing efficiency is affected, and therefore stability and reliability of operation of the developer supply container 2 are improved.
The above embodiments are only preferred examples of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, so that all equivalent changes or modifications made according to the construction, characteristics and principles of the present invention shall be included in the scope of the present invention.
Claims (9)
1. A developer supply container detachably mountable to a developer replenishing apparatus, the developer supply container comprising:
a container body for accommodating a developer, one end of the container body being provided with a supply port;
a driving gear formed on an outer circumference of the container body adjacent to the supply port, the driving gear for receiving a rotational force for rotating the container body from the developer replenishing apparatus;
wherein the developer supply container further comprises:
the first positioning ring is rotatably sleeved on the outer circumference of the container main body and is positioned at one side of the driving gear close to the supply port;
the mounting seat is formed on one side, far away from the driving gear, of the first positioning ring, and an information storage device is mounted on the mounting seat;
a first magnet disposed on the first positioning ring;
the second positioning ring is rotatably sleeved on the outer circumference of the container main body and is positioned at one side of the driving gear away from the supply port;
and the second magnet is arranged on the second positioning ring, and the magnetic poles of the second magnet and the first magnet are opposite.
2. The developer supply container according to claim 1, wherein:
the first magnet and the second magnet are strong magnets.
3. The developer supply container according to claim 1, wherein:
the second positioning ring is provided with a slide groove extending in the axial direction of the container body, and the slide groove is movably matched with a slide rail of the developer replenishing device.
4. The developer supply container according to claim 1, wherein:
the second positioning ring is provided with a buckling groove, and a buckling piece of the developer replenishing device can enter the buckling groove.
5. The developer supply container according to claim 4, wherein:
the first positioning ring extends to a side far away from the driving gear and is provided with a guide part, and the guide part is arranged corresponding to the position of the clamping groove in the axial direction of the container main body.
6. The developer supply container according to claim 1, wherein:
a hooking groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the container main body, and the hooking groove is positioned at one side of the driving gear, which is close to the supply port;
the first positioning ring is provided with a cover hook in a radial extending mode, and the cover hook is hooked in the hooking groove.
7. The developer supply container according to claim 1, wherein:
the developer supply container further includes a sealing cover detachably covering the supply port.
8. The developer supply container according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein:
the first magnet is disposed in correspondence with the second magnet in the axial direction of the container body.
9. The developer supply container according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein:
the first magnet is located at one side of the first positioning ring away from the supply port, and the first magnet extends to the mounting seat in the circumferential direction of the first positioning ring.
