The balance ring for a washing machine as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein an outer peripheral edge of an upper portion of the upper balance ring is extended outward in a horizontal direction by a certain distance to form a collision prevention structure; the distance from the extending end of the anti-collision structure to the center of the balance ring body is larger than the distance from the joint of the upper balance ring and the lower balance ring to the center of the balance ring body.
