Abstract

本申请公开了一种波束生成方法及基站,用以解决现有中存在的对波束从2T扩充到4T时,出现增加天线列数及通信波束质量下降的问题,针对天面部署中对天线宽度更加敏感的特点,本申请将面阵天线进行上下堆叠,形成两个半平面,每个半平面独立进行阵子加权,对于基带生成的一个信号,可以映射至面阵天线的上半平面天线阵列,或者映射至面阵天线的下半平面天线阵列,或者同时映射至面阵天线的上半平面天线阵列及面阵天线的下半平面天线阵列,形成波束,从而使得基带生成的多个信号可映射的逻辑通道数翻倍,因而可实现在不增加天线列数的前提下实现对波束的扩充,例如从2T扩充到4T,并且由于没有减小半平面的天线宽度,因此不影响通信波束质量。
