The invention discloses an electric connector capable of hot plugging, which comprises a plug, a socket and a PCB (printed circuit board); the plug is provided with a first plug terminal and a second plug terminal, the socket is provided with a first socket terminal and a second socket terminal, the middle part of the plug is provided with a connecting sheet, the middle part of the socket is provided with a first elastic terminal and a second elastic terminal, and the first elastic terminal and the second elastic terminal are electrically connected with a PCB; the plug is plugged with the socket, and the first plug terminal and the second plug terminal are continuously contacted with the first socket terminal and the second socket terminal from a starting point to an end point along the contact section; the connecting sheet on the plug contacts with the first elastic terminal and the second elastic terminal on the socket at the termination point of the contact section. The connecting sheet, the first elastic terminal and the second elastic terminal are used for conducting or disconnecting a control circuit of the PCB, so that the power on and power off of the plug and the socket are controlled, electric sparks cannot be generated in the hot plugging process, and the damage to equipment and human bodies is avoided.

the connecting sheet 13 on the plug 1 contacts with the first elastic terminal 22 and the second elastic terminal 23 on the socket 2 at the termination end of the contact section;
the PCB 3 is disposed on a side surface of the socket 2, and two elastic terminal nodes 31 on the PCB 3 are electrically connected to the first elastic terminal 22 and the second elastic terminal 23 on the socket 2, respectively.

The PCB 3 is provided with a control circuit, the PCB 3 is arranged on the side surface of the socket 2, and two elastic terminal nodes 31 on the PCB 3 are respectively and electrically connected with a first elastic terminal 22 and a second elastic terminal 23 on the socket 2.

as the plug 1 and the socket 2 are inserted continuously, the first plug terminal 12 and the second plug terminal 11 are continuously contacted with the first socket terminal 26 and the second socket terminal 27 along the contact section; at this time, the connecting piece 13 in the middle of the plug 1 contacts with the first elastic terminal 22 and the second elastic terminal 23 provided in the middle of the socket 2, and the control circuit of the PCB board 3 is turned on, so that the first plug terminal 12 and the second plug terminal 11, and the first socket terminal 26 and the second socket terminal 27 are energized, and a current starts to flow therethrough.
On the contrary, when the plug 1 is separated from the socket 2, along with the separation of the plug 1 and the socket 2, the connecting sheet 13 in the middle of the plug 1 is separated from the first elastic terminal 22 and the second elastic terminal 23 which are arranged in the middle of the socket 2, and the control circuit of the PCB board 3 is disconnected, at this time, although the first plug terminal 12 and the second plug terminal 11 are continuously and effectively contacted with the first socket terminal 26 and the second socket terminal 27 along the contact sections, the first plug terminal 12 and the second plug terminal 11 are already powered off from the first socket terminal 26 and the second socket terminal 27, so that the invention is ensured that electric sparks are not generated in the hot plugging process, and the damage to equipment and the damage to an operator are avoided.
