(5) The server sends the reply header information. Just as the client would send information about itself along with the request, the server would also send data about itself and the requested document to the user along with the reply.
(6) The server sends the data to the browser. After the server sends the header to the browser, it sends a blank line to indicate that the sending of the header is completed, and then it sends the actual data requested by the user in the format described by the response header.
(7) The server closes the TCP connection. Typically, once the server sends the request data to the browser, it closes the TCP connection. But if the browser or server is still open after sending the TCP connection with the header added to the line, the browser can continue to send requests over the same connection. Maintaining the connection saves time required to establish a new connection for each request and also saves network bandwidth.
