That is, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the mount-side member 6 is formed into a closed cross-sectional shape continuously with the cross member 35 and the baffle longitudinal member 31 between the closed cross-sectional shape cross member 35 and the closed cross-sectional shape baffle longitudinal member 31, respectively. Therefore, the attachment-side member 6 has a substantially hat-shaped cross section, and the upper and lower flange portions 6a, 6b are joined to the outer side wall portion 42b, and are connected to the rear surface 35a of the cross member 35 and the inner side surface 31a of the apron side member 31 via the outer side wall portion 42 b. Accordingly, the closed cross-section structural bodies such as the cross member 35 and the dash side member 31 are connected to each other by the attachment-side member 6 having a closed cross-sectional shape, so that the strength and rigidity of the joint portion can be ensured, and the rigidity of the front-side vehicle body attachment fixing portion 4A can be further improved.
Therefore, in the structure of the vehicle front portion 1 of the present embodiment, the closed cross section extends in the vehicle front-rear direction, the vehicle width direction, and the vehicle vertical direction with the front-side vehicle body attachment fixing portion 4A as the center, and the periphery of the front-side vehicle body attachment fixing portion 4A is surrounded by the closed cross-sectional shape portion.
In the structure of the vehicle front portion 1 of the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the outer side end portion 35b of the cross member 35 in the vehicle width direction is located at a distance L on the vehicle inner side from the outer side end portion 4Aa of the front-side vehicle body attachment fixing portion 4A in the vehicle width direction. The front surface 35c of the cross member 35 has an inclined surface 35d, and the inclined surface 35d is located rearward of the vehicle as it faces toward the vehicle outer side relative to the vehicle center portion. Thus, the outer end portion 35b of the cross member 35 is positioned further toward the vehicle inner side than the outer end portion 4Aa of the front vehicle body mount fixing portion 4A, and a space is secured on the outer side of the cross member 35. Further, the cross-sectional area of the closed cross-sectional shape of the outer end portion 35b of the cross member 35 is formed small by the inclined surface 35d, and a space serving as a cushion space can be provided in the front of the vehicle, thereby reducing impact energy acting on the closed cross-sectional portion structure at the time of collision with a pedestrian.
The embodiments of the present invention have been described above, but the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications and changes can be made based on the technical idea of the present invention.
