本申请公开了一种非连续接收的方法和装置,该方法包括:终端接收网络设备发送的切换指示信息,所述切换指示信息用于指示所述终端从当前使用的第一非连续接收DRX图样切换至第二DRX图样,所述第一DRX图样和所述第二DRX图样用于指示DRX休眠期对应的时间段和DRX激活期对应的时间段;所述终端以所述第二DRX图样在所述DRX休眠期和所述DRX激活期之间切换。终端可以根据网络设备的切换指示信息,实时切换DRX图样,以不同的DRX图样在DRX休眠期和DRX激活期之间切换,提高了终端采用DRX工作机制与网络设备进行通信的灵活性。
