Abstract
The invention relates to a connector, a connector assembly and a vehicle using the connector assembly. The connector comprises a seat body and a seat body terminal arranged on the seat body, a limiting block is further arranged on the seat body, a limiting hole for the cable terminal to pass through is formed in the limiting block, and the distance between the limiting block and the seat body terminal is not larger than the length of the cable terminal so that the limiting hole is in limiting fit with the cable terminal in the installation process of the cable terminal to enable the cable terminal to be positively connected with the seat body terminal. Because the interval of stopper and pedestal terminal is not more than the length of cable terminal, can't reach the pedestal terminal under the limiting displacement in spacing hole when the cable terminal joins conversely, prevent the emergence of the cable terminal and the reverse condition of pedestal terminal, and then solved because the wiring end area of contact that the reverse connection of cable terminal burr face and pedestal terminal produced is little, the contact resistance increase, the problem that the contact surface generates heat has increased electrical connection's reliability.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a connector, a connector assembly and a vehicle using the connector assembly.
Background
The electric connector is the most main electric connection point of the electric automobile, and the reliability of the electric connection directly influences the reliability and safety of the automobile. The electric automobile connector mainly comprises a plug-in type connector and a screw-connection type connector. The plug-in type connector is convenient to connect and operate, but the whole life cycle is difficult to guarantee under the working condition of the automobile, and the cost of the connector is high.
When the existing screw-connection type connector is positively connected, the cable terminal is tightly connected with the seat body terminal, and the connector works normally. There is a cable terminal reverse phenomenon due to a structural defect of the connector, as shown in fig. 1. The connector comprises a base 10, a cable 12, a cable terminal 13 and a base terminal 11, wherein the cable terminal 13 comprises a flat base connecting part 1303, a cylindrical cable connecting part 1301 and a transition connecting part 1302 for connecting the base connecting part 1303 and the cable connecting part 1301, and the base connecting part 1303 and the cable connecting part 1301 are eccentrically arranged. Since the cable terminal 13 is produced by stamping, the housing connecting portion 1303 of the cable terminal 3 has a terminal burr 14 on one surface. As shown in fig. 1, when the cable terminal 13 is erroneously crimped, on one hand, the stamped surface having the terminal burr 14 comes into contact with the holder terminal 11, which results in a reduction in the contact area between the cable terminal 13 and the holder terminal 11; on the other hand, due to the structural characteristics of the connector, there is a situation that the cable terminal 13 is warped up at the edge where the cable terminal 13 is connected and contacted with the housing terminal 11, resulting in a reduction in the contact area between the cable terminal 13 and the housing terminal 11. The contact area of the cable terminal 13 and the seat terminal 11 is reduced, which results in the increase of the contact resistance at the contact position of the two terminals, the contact surface generates heat, and the risk of ablation exists.
