In order to improve the welding effect between the tab and the pole piece or between the two negative electrode tabs and the steel sleeve of the cylindrical battery, pocks are generally pressed out on the tab. Referring to fig. 1 to 3, the present invention discloses a pit making device 100, which comprises a base plate 11, a mounting plate 13 connected to the base plate 11 through a support rod 12, a male die mechanism 2, a female die mechanism 3, an adjusting mechanism 4 for limiting the travel of the male die mechanism 2 or the female die mechanism 3 so as to control the pit thickness, a detecting mechanism 5 for detecting the pit thickness, a guiding mechanism 6 for guiding the object, a dust removing mechanism 7 for removing dust generated by manufacturing the pit, and an anti-sticking mechanism 8 for preventing the object from sticking to the female die mechanism 3.
The punch mechanism 2 comprises a lifting cylinder 21 mounted on the base plate 11 and a punch fixing plate 22 arranged at the driving end of the lifting cylinder 21, wherein a punch 23 is arranged on the punch fixing plate 22, and pits (not shown) are formed on the punch 23.
The female die mechanism 3 comprises a female die 33 arranged opposite to the male die 23, and the female die 33 is positioned at the lower part of the mounting plate 13; the female die 33 has pits (not shown) that match the pits. In the illustrated embodiment of the present invention, a guide sleeve 221 is disposed on the punch holder 22, and a guide post 222 is slidably disposed in the guide sleeve 221, and the guide post 222 is connected to the mounting plate 13.
In use, the punch means 2 and the die means 3 are able to move relative to one another to approach one another to punch out pocks on an article (e.g. a tab). In the illustrated embodiment of the invention, the lifting cylinder 21 is able to drive the punch 23 towards the die 33, thereby forming pits in the article. Of course, in other embodiments, the female die 33 may be provided as a movable member, and the male die 23 may be provided as a fixed member, and the function of pressing out the pits may be achieved by the relative movement of the two members.
In the illustrated embodiment of the invention, the adjustment mechanism 4 is provided on the mounting plate 13. The adjusting mechanism 4 comprises an adjusting piece fixing plate 41, the adjusting piece fixing plate 41 is provided with an adjusting piece 42, a driving end of the adjusting piece 42 is connected with a limiting plate 43 to limit the distance between the limiting plate 43 and the male die fixing plate 22, and the lifting stroke of the male die mechanism 2 can be controlled through the adjusting piece 42 so as to control the thickness of the pits. In one embodiment of the present invention, the adjusting member 42 is a micrometer head, so as to perform a function of precisely adjusting the lifting stroke of the punch mechanism 2; of course, in other embodiments, other types of adjusting elements, such as screws, can be used, and the lifting of the screws can also serve the function of adjusting the lifting stroke of the punch mechanism 2.
Specifically, the limiting plate 43 has a U-shape with two lower ends, which are far away from each other, and a groove 431, and the lower ends extend through the mounting plate 13 between the mounting plate 13 and the punch fixing plate 22, and the lower ends are provided with first stop pins 432. In addition, a limiting member 411 (e.g., a limiting screw) is disposed on the adjusting member fixing plate 41 to limit the highest position of the limiting plate 43.
Referring to fig. 1, in the illustrated embodiment of the invention, the detection mechanism 5 is disposed on the right side of the mounting plate 13. During operation, the lugs are conveyed from left to right, and the lugs with the pits manufactured are conveyed to the right to the detection mechanism 5 to detect the thickness of the pits. The detection mechanism 5 comprises an adjusting plate 51, a detection fixing plate 52 is arranged on the adjusting plate 51, a detection air cylinder 53 is arranged on the detection fixing plate 52, a sensor bracket 54 is arranged at the driving end of the detection air cylinder 53, a sensor 55 (for example, a displacement sensor) is arranged on the sensor bracket 54, and a detection platform 56 is arranged at the lower end of the detection fixing plate 52. During detection, the lug is positioned on the detection platform 56, and the detection cylinder 53 drives the sensor 55 to descend to detect the thickness of the pock. With the result of the detection, the position of the limiting plate 43 can be readjusted by the adjusting mechanism 4 to adjust the thickness of the pock.
Referring to fig. 1 and 3, in the illustrated embodiment of the present invention, the guide mechanisms 6 are disposed at left and right sides of the mounting plate 13, and the guide mechanisms 6 are used for guiding the tabs. Referring to fig. 2, in the illustrated embodiment of the present invention, the dust removing mechanism 7 includes a blowing block 71 disposed at a front side of the mounting plate 13 and a dust removing hood 72 disposed at a rear side of the mounting plate 13, wherein the dust removing hood 72 is mounted and fixed by a dust removing hood mounting block 73, and the dust removing hood 72 is connected to a vacuum apparatus. The blowing block 71 is provided with a blowing hole (not shown) facing to the rear side for blowing off dust generated by the pocking marks, and the dust hood 72 is used for adsorbing and collecting the dust and preventing the dust from adhering to the tab, thereby affecting the quality of the battery cell preparation.
The tab may be deformed to a certain extent during the pressing of the male die 23 against the female die 33, and may be stuck in the female die mechanism 3 after the deformation. In order to avoid this, the anti-sticking mechanism 8 comprises an anti-sticking cylinder 81, and the driving end of the anti-sticking cylinder 81 extends to push the tab to separate from the female die 33.
Compared with the prior art, the thickness of the pock can be well controlled by arranging the adjusting mechanism, and the welding quality and consistency of the lugs are improved.
