Description

Method, device and storage medium for obtaining access control parameters
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a storage medium for acquiring an access control parameter.
Background
In a wireless communication network, a UE (User Equipment) selects a cell to access, and performs data interaction with a network side through the accessed cell. However, in order to Control the number of UEs accessing the same cell to balance the load of the cell, the UE needs to make an AC barring (Access Control barring) decision before accessing the cell to determine whether the cell can be accessed currently. However, before making the AC barring decision, the UE needs to acquire access control parameters from the network side.
In order to ensure that the UE in idle state or the UE in inactive state can acquire the access control parameters before accessing the cell, the access control parameters generally need to be broadcasted in a system message. Currently, System messages other than MIB (Master Information Block) are divided into RMSI (Remaining Minimum System Information) and other System messages (other SI). Since the access control parameters of NR (New Radio, New air interface) are extremely large, and the maximum transport block size of RMSI or Other SI is 3000 or less, it is considered that some access control parameters are transmitted in RMSI, and Other access control parameters are transmitted in Other SI. However, RMSI is still transmitted by broadcast, while the other SI needs to be transmitted by UE request, that is, UE first transmits system message acquisition request, after receiving the system message acquisition request, network side broadcasts the other SI within the scheduling time window of the system message, and for UE in idle state or UE in inactive state, the system message acquisition request can be transmitted through MSG1 and MSG3 in random access process currently.

All the above optional technical solutions can be combined arbitrarily to form an optional embodiment of the present disclosure, and the embodiments of the present disclosure are not described in detail again.
In order to ensure that the UE in idle state or the UE in inactive state can acquire the access control parameters before accessing the cell, the access control parameters generally need to be broadcasted in a system message. However, since some access control parameters are transmitted in RMSI and Other access control parameters are transmitted in Other SI. RMSI is sent by broadcast, while other SI needs to be sent by UE request. Therefore, for the other SI, after the UE sends the system message acquisition request, the other SI broadcasted by the network side is not received, and how to process the other SI at this time is not currently implemented. The embodiments of the present disclosure are applied to the above scenario, so as to determine the access control parameters in case of acquisition failure. The following explains the method for acquiring the access control parameter according to the embodiment of the present disclosure in detail.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for acquiring an access control parameter according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 2, the method comprises the steps of:
in step 201, the UE sends a system message acquisition request to the network side, where the system message acquisition request is used to acquire an access control parameter corresponding to a target access category, and the target access category is used to indicate a service currently initiated by the UE.
Since some of the access control parameters are transmitted in RMSI and Other part of the access control parameters are transmitted in Other SI, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, in order to acquire the access control parameters transmitted in Other SI, the UE needs to acquire the access control parameters in a requested manner. That is, the UE needs to send a system message acquisition request to the network side.
The access control parameter generally includes a random number and an effective duration, where the random number is used to determine whether the currently accessed cell is restricted from being accessed, and the effective duration is the duration during which access is restricted in the cell.
In step 202, when the UE determines that the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category fails to be acquired, a reference access category corresponding to the target access category is acquired.
Since the Other SI needs the UE to acquire the system message in a request manner, after the UE sends the system message acquisition request to the network side through step 201, if the network side receives the system message acquisition request, the network side may broadcast the Other SI within a scheduling time window of the system message, where the scheduling time window of the system message refers to a time window of broadcasting the Other SI. In this way, when the UE receives the other SI, the UE may acquire the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category from the other SI, that is, it may be determined that the acquisition of the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category is successful. When the network side does not receive the system message acquisition request, or the network side broadcasts the other SI but the UE does not receive the other SI, it can be determined that the acquisition of the access control parameters corresponding to the target access category fails. That is, the reason for the failure of parameter acquisition may be the reason of the network or may be another reason, and therefore, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the UE may acquire the reference access category corresponding to the target access category, and then acquire the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category through the following step 203 and step 204, so as to determine the access parameter corresponding to the target access category.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the UE may store a category mapping relationship in advance, where the category mapping relationship is used to store a mapping relationship between each access category and a corresponding reference access category. In this way, the UE may obtain the reference access category corresponding to the target access category from the stored category mapping relationship.
The category mapping relationship may be that the network side notifies the UE through a broadcast message or an RRC release message; or, the category mapping relationship is that the network side notifies the UE through an attach signaling procedure or a tracking area update procedure; alternatively, the category mapping relationship is written in the UE in advance in a firmware manner. That is, the category mapping relationship may be notified to the UE by the network side through the radio access network, or notified to the UE through the non-access stratum, or agreed in advance and written in the UE in a firmware manner.
It should be noted that, when the category mapping relationship is notified to the UE through a broadcast message, the broadcast message may be an RMSI, or may be another broadcast message. When the category mapping relationship is notified to the UE through the RRC release message, the category mapping relationship may include only the target access category and the relationship between the reference access categories corresponding to the target access category, and certainly, in order to facilitate the UE to make an AC barring decision when initiating other services, the category mapping relationship may also include each access category and the mapping relationship between the reference access categories corresponding to each access category. When the category mapping relationship is notified to the UE through the attach signaling procedure or the tracking area update procedure, the category mapping relationship may be carried in any signaling interacting with the UE in the attach signaling procedure or the tracking area update procedure and notified to the UE. For example, when the non-access stratum identifies an access attempt, an access request may be sent to the access stratum, where the access request may carry a category mapping relationship in addition to an access category corresponding to the access attempt. For another example, when the non-access stratum recognizes an access attempt, the non-access stratum may send an access request to the access stratum, where the access request carries an access category corresponding to the access attempt, and after the access stratum of the UE fails to acquire the access control parameter including the target access category, the UE will ask the non-access stratum for a reference access category corresponding to the access request.
In a possible implementation manner, when the UE can acquire the category mapping relationship through the broadcast message and also can acquire the category mapping relationship through the RRC release message, the category mapping relationship in the RRC release message can be preferentially selected because the update of the category mapping relationship in the RRC release message is relatively timely.
Optionally, when the category mapping relationship is notified to the UE by the RRC release message from the network side, the RRC release message may further carry at least one of the valid time range and the valid area range. In this way, before the UE acquires the reference access category corresponding to the target access category from the stored category mapping relationship, it may be further determined whether the UE currently satisfies the condition for acquiring the reference access category through at least one of the valid time range and the valid region range. That is, before the UE acquires the reference access category corresponding to the target access category from the stored category mapping relationship, at least one of the following items may be further included:
when the RRC release message carries an effective time range and the current time is within the effective time range, executing a step of acquiring a reference access category corresponding to a target access category from a stored category mapping relation;
and when the RRC release message carries the effective area range and the current position is located in the effective area range, executing a step of acquiring a reference access category corresponding to the target access category from the stored category mapping relation.
It should be noted that, when the category mapping relationship notifies the UE through other manners, at least one of the valid time range and the valid area range may also be notified to the UE, that is, when the UE learns the category mapping relationship through other manners and obtains the reference access category corresponding to the target access category from the category mapping relationship, it may also be determined whether the current time is in the valid time range and the current location is in the valid area range, and then, when the current time is in the valid time range and/or the valid area range, the step of obtaining the reference access category corresponding to the target access category from the stored category mapping relationship is performed. In addition, the valid time range and the valid area range may be system agreed or configured on the network side, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, because the reason for the failure of parameter acquisition may be a reason of a network, and may also be another reason, after the acquisition of the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category fails, in order to enable the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category to perform AC barring decision on the service currently initiated by the UE, the embodiment of the present disclosure acquires a reference access category corresponding to the target access category, and acquires the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category. However, before the UE acquires the reference access category corresponding to the target access category, the UE may further determine whether a condition for determining the access parameter corresponding to the target access category by using the access parameter corresponding to the reference access category is currently satisfied, that is, a parameter acquisition condition. And when the current parameter acquisition condition is determined to be met, acquiring a reference access category corresponding to the target access category from the category mapping relation. When the current parameter obtaining condition is determined not to be met, the system message obtaining request can be sent to the network side again to obtain the access control parameters corresponding to the target access category.
The parameter obtaining condition may be that the network side notifies the UE through a broadcast message or an RRC release message; or, the parameter obtaining condition is that the network side notifies the UE through an attachment signaling flow or a tracking area updating flow; alternatively, the parameter acquisition condition is written in the UE in advance in a firmware manner. That is, the notification manner of the parameter obtaining condition is the same as the notification manner of the category mapping relationship, and the embodiments of the present disclosure are not described in detail herein.
In a possible implementation manner, the parameter obtaining condition may be that the number of times of failure to obtain the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category has reached a number threshold, which may be set in advance, for example, 1 time, 3 times, and so on.
In a possible implementation manner, when the UE does not acquire the reference access category corresponding to the target access category, the operation may be ended, that is, the following step of acquiring the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category is not performed.
The access categories are generally classified into a standard access category and a non-standard access category, the standard access category is an access category defined in a protocol, and the non-standard access category is an access category defined by an operator. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the target access category may be a non-standard access category, and the reference access category may be a standard access category; or both the target access category and the reference access category are nonstandard access categories; alternatively, the target access category and the reference access category are both standard access categories.
In an exemplary embodiment, the access categories may include 64, and the definition of the 64 access categories is shown in table 1 below.

For example, the target access category may be one of the access categories numbered 32 to 63, and the reference access category may be one of the access categories numbered 0 to 7; or the target access category is one of the access categories with the numbers of 32-63, and the reference access category is the other one of the access categories with the numbers of 32-63; or the target access category is one of the access categories with the numbers of 0-7, and the reference access category is the other one of the access categories with the numbers of 0-7.
A PLMN is a network established by an operator for the purpose of providing land mobile services to the public. For example, the PLMN in china mobile is 46000, and the PLMN in china unicom is 46001. That is, in actual life, a plurality of different PLMNs exist, and different services may be provided in the same PLMN, and the access category is generally used to indicate a service initiated by the UE, so in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the target access category and the reference access category may be access categories in the same PLMN; alternatively, the target access category and the reference access category may be access categories in different PLMNs.
For example, the target access category is one of the access categories numbered 0-7 in the HPLMN, and the reference access category is another of the access categories numbered 0-7 in the HPLMN. Or the target access category is one of the access categories with the number of 0-7 in the non-HPLMN, and the reference access category is the other one of the access categories with the number of 0-7 in the HPLMN.
In step 203, the UE obtains the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category, and uses the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category as the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category.
As can be seen from the above description of step 202, the reference access category may be a standard access category or a non-standard access category, and a part of the access control parameters is transmitted in the RMSI and another part of the access control parameters is transmitted in the other SI. Generally, the RMSI transmits access control parameters corresponding to a standard access category, and the other SI transmits access control parameters corresponding to a non-standard access category, so that when the parameter access category is a standard access category, the RMSI broadcasted by the network side can acquire the access control parameters corresponding to a reference access category.
However, when the reference access category is a non-standard access category, the system message acquisition request may be sent to the network side, that is, the system message acquisition request is sent again, which may increase the success rate of acquiring the other SI. When the network side receives the system message acquisition request, it can broadcast Other SI in the scheduling time window of the system message, so that when the UE receives the Other SI, it can acquire the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category from the Other SI, and use the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category as the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category. Of course, since the UE can receive the other SI, the access control parameters corresponding to the target access category can also be directly acquired from the other SI. When the network side does not receive the system message acquisition request, or the network side broadcasts the other SI but the UE does not receive the other SI, it can be determined that the acquisition of the access control parameters corresponding to the reference access category fails. In summary, when the UE does not receive the other SI, it may be determined that the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category fails to be acquired.
In step 204, when it is determined that the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category fails to be acquired, the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category is set as a default parameter, or it is determined that the currently accessed cell is restricted from being accessed.
In a first possible implementation manner, when it is determined that the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category fails to be acquired, the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category is set as a default parameter.
The default parameter is a parameter with the largest value in the protocol; or the default parameter is the last parameter sequenced in the application sequencing mechanism; or the default parameter is that the network side notifies the UE through a broadcast message or an RRC release message; or the default parameter is that the network side notifies the UE through an attachment signaling flow or a tracking area updating flow; alternatively, the default parameters are written in the UE in advance in a firmware manner.
It should be noted that, since a plurality of access control parameters are usually specified in a protocol, when the other SI cannot be acquired, a default parameter is set as a parameter with the largest value in the protocol, so that the AC barring decision can be performed with the strictest requirement, and the load of the cell can be further balanced. In addition, there may be a plurality of applications capable of initiating a service in the UE, so that the AC barring determination needs to be performed on the service initiated by the plurality of applications, and generally, the access control parameter for performing the AC barring determination on the plurality of applications may be sorted by an application sorting mechanism, so that the default parameter may also be set as the last parameter sorted in the application sorting mechanism, and since the last parameter sorted is also generally the parameter with the largest value, the AC barring determination may also be performed with the strictest requirement, so that the load of the cell can be further balanced. Finally, the remaining notification manners are the same as the notification manners of the category mapping relationship, and are not described in detail in the embodiment of the present disclosure.
In a second possible implementation manner, when it is determined that the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category fails to be acquired and the reference access category is a standard access category, it is determined that the currently accessed cell is restricted from being accessed.
For the second possible implementation manner, since the access control corresponding to the standard access category is usually transmitted in the RMSI, that is, the access control parameter corresponding to the standard access category generally does not fail to be acquired, when the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category fails to be acquired, it may be determined that the currently accessed cell is restricted from being accessed.
In a third possible implementation manner, when it is determined that the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category fails to be acquired, it is determined that the currently accessed cell is restricted from being accessed.
For the third possible implementation manner, regardless of whether the reference access category is the standard access category, when it is determined that the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category fails to be acquired, it may be determined that the currently accessed cell is restricted from being accessed.
It should be noted that, for the second possible implementation manner and the third possible implementation manner, after determining that the currently accessed cell is restricted from being accessed, the UE may select another cell to be accessed, and of course, the UE may retry to access the cell after a period of time.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, when the access parameter corresponding to the target access category fails to be acquired in a request manner, a reference access category corresponding to the target access category may be acquired, and an access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category may be acquired, and the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category is used as the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category. If the access control parameter corresponding to the reference access category is not obtained, the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category may be set to a default value, or it may be determined that the cell to which the UE is currently accessed is restricted from being accessed. Therefore, the problem that the corresponding access control parameter cannot be determined after the access control parameter corresponding to the target access category is acquired in a request mode is solved.
