Description

Key and keyboard
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a key and a keyboard, and more particularly to a key and a keyboard using a first shielding sheet on a supporting member of a lifting supporting device to cover a light emitting device.
Background
In the current usage practice of personal computers, a keyboard is one of the indispensable input devices for inputting characters, symbols or numbers. With the increasing popularity of computers, the development of today's keys and keyboards has emphasized visual appeal in addition to general input functions, for example, a representative design is to be configured with keys that can emit light when in use on a keyboard. The common key luminescence design is that a luminescence unit (such as a light emitting diode) and a corresponding circuit board (such as a thin film circuit board and a flexible circuit board) are arranged on the bottom plate, so that the light emitted by the luminescence unit can be projected out of the key cap, and the key can generate a luminescence effect.
In the prior art, the corresponding L-shaped abdication groove is cut at the corner position of the support piece of the lifting support device corresponding to the light-emitting unit, so that the light emitted by the light-emitting unit adjacent to the lifting support device can be ensured to be projected upwards to the key cap smoothly, the problem of structural interference between the support piece and the light-emitting unit can be further avoided, and the overall structural height of the key can be reduced. However, the above design often results in poor overall structural strength of the support member and poor pressing performance of the key cap, so that when a user presses the position of the L-shaped yielding groove of the corresponding support member on the key cap, the problem that the key press is not reactive or even can not be triggered often occurs, thereby causing a plurality of inconveniences for the user in the key press operation. In addition, since the light-shielding structure is not additionally arranged between the light-emitting unit and the keycap, the condition that light emitted by the light-emitting unit is projected from a structural gap between the keycap and the bottom plate is easy to occur, and further the problem of light leakage of the key is generated, so that the light-emitting effect of the key is affected and visual discomfort is caused to a user.

In practical applications, as shown in fig. 1, the key 14 may further include a light-transmitting sheet 38, and the light-transmitting sheet 38 may be coupled to the first light-emitting opening 32 to generate a protection effect or an effect of changing a light-emitting color. For example, the light-transmitting sheet 38 may be a generally transparent cover sheet to create the effect of covering and protecting the light-emitting unit 24; alternatively, the transparent sheet 38 may be a colored transparent sheet (e.g. a red transparent sheet, a red filter, etc.) that allows the specific color light to pass through, so that the key 14 can emit the specific color light. In addition, the key 14 may further include an elastic structure body 40, and the elastic structure body 40 (such as a rubber washer) may be disposed in the first support member 26 and the second support member 28, so that when the external force pressing the key cap 16 is released, the elastic structure body 40 may provide a return elastic force to the key cap 16 to drive the key cap 16 to return to the non-pressed position, thereby generating an automatic return effect.
In an embodiment, the light emitting device may include a first light emitting unit and a second light emitting unit, the first shielding plate 30 covers the first light emitting unit, the second supporting member 28 extends to the light emitting device 24 to form a second shielding plate to cover the second light emitting unit, the second shielding plate has a second light outlet corresponding to the position of the second light emitting unit, the light emitted by the first light emitting unit is emitted to the first position of the keycap 16 through the first light outlet 32, and the light emitted by the second light emitting unit is emitted to the second position of the keycap 16 through the second light outlet. In actual operation, the light emitted by the first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit may be different. Alternatively, a second light transmitting sheet 38 is bonded to the second light outlet, and the second light transmitting sheet may be a colored light transmitting sheet that allows the first color light to pass therethrough, and the first color light and the second color light may be different from each other.
It should be noted that the configuration of the light emitting device is not limited to the above embodiment, and the present invention may also be configured by a light emitting unit and a flexible circuit board (Flexible Printed Circuit, FPC), for example, refer to fig. 4, which is a schematic partial cross-sectional view of a keyboard 100 according to another embodiment of the present invention, where the components of the embodiment have the same numbers as those of the above embodiment, and the components have the same structures or functions. As shown in fig. 4, the keyboard 100 includes a bottom plate 12 and a plurality of keys 102 (only one key 102 is shown in fig. 4), the keys 102 include a keycap 16, a lifting support device 20 and a light emitting device 104, in this embodiment, the light emitting device 104 may include a light emitting unit 24 (such as a light emitting diode, but not limited to) and a flexible circuit board 106, the flexible circuit board 106 is attached under the bottom plate 12, an opening 108 is formed at a position of the bottom plate 12 corresponding to the light emitting unit 24, the light emitting unit 24 is disposed on the flexible circuit board 106, and the light emitting unit 24 is disposed in the opening 108 in a penetrating manner, so that the keys 102 perform light emitting control of the light emitting unit 24 through the flexible circuit board 106, for example, control the light emitting unit 24 to emit flashing light or colored lights of different colors. As for other related descriptions (such as structural design of the support member) of the keyboard 100, reference may be made to the above-mentioned embodiments, and the description thereof will not be repeated here.
In summary, according to the key and the keyboard of the present invention, the first shielding plate of the first supporting member covers the light emitting unit, so that the light emitted by the light emitting unit can be projected to the key cap only through the first light outlet of the first shielding plate, thereby achieving the effect of preventing light leakage of the key. In addition, the design that the first shielding sheet extends above the light-emitting unit is adopted, so that the overall structural strength of the supporting piece of the lifting supporting device can be enhanced, and the problem of poor pressing action of the key cap in the prior art can be improved, and the pressing hand feeling and structural uniformity of the key can be effectively improved.
