Abstract
The invention discloses a flexible tool for fillet weld friction stir welding, which realizes the friction stir welding of inner and outer fillet welds of workpieces with different thicknesses. Two identical cushion blocks are connected through a fixing block bolt to form a workpiece mounting platform. The position of the clamping plate is adjusted by adjusting the screwing depth of the bolt, so that the workpiece is driven to move upwards along the surface of the cushion block, and the fillet weld is aligned. The pressing plate fixes and clamps the workpiece through the fastening bolt, and clamping of the fillet weld at the outer side of the workpiece is realized. And (4) the positions of the two cushion blocks are exchanged, other parts are reassembled, and the fillet weld at the inner side of the workpiece can be clamped. The tool realizes clamping of the inside and outside fillet weld workpieces through one set of parts, and can realize clamping and positioning of workpieces with different thicknesses. The fillet weld workpieces at different angles can be welded by replacing the cushion blocks with different sizes.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a welding tool, in particular to a flexible tool for fillet weld friction stir welding, which can realize the welding of inner and outer fillet welds of workpieces with different thicknesses.
Background
The great technical advantages of friction stir welding technology in the field of manufacturing low-melting-point alloy structures enable the application of friction stir welding technology to be rapidly expanded. The special solid-phase connection characteristics of the material enable advantages in connection strength, deformation and residual stress level, corrosion resistance and the like. The material is widely applied to the fields of aerospace, high-speed rail vehicles, automobiles, ships, weapons and the like.
In actual construction, there are a large number of non-planar or non-near-planar joint forms such as fillet welds. Because the workpieces need solid back support in the friction stir welding process, the tool for fillet weld fusion welding in the existing patent is not suitable for friction stir welding. In the friction stir welding of fillet welds, the prior art is mostly realized by adding process cushion blocks and converting the process cushion blocks into a measure similar to plane butt welding. However, the tooling is easy to cause the defects of incomplete penetration, weak connection and the like in a welding seam area, the utilization rate of the process cushion block is low, two sets of tooling are usually needed for welding the inside and outside fillet welds respectively, and the cost is high. At present, no relevant patent of a special tool for fillet weld friction stir welding exists. Therefore, the flexible tool is simple in structure, good in universality and capable of achieving friction stir welding of the inner side fillet weld and the outer side fillet weld of workpieces with different thicknesses, and has important significance for reducing cost and improving welding quality and yield of products.

Preferably, at least 2 connecting blocks are arranged at the connecting positions of the cushion blocks.
Preferably, a gap exists between two adjacent connecting blocks, and the gap ranges from about 2mm to 4 mm.
Preferably, the welding of fillet weld workpieces with different angles is adjusted by adjusting the cushion blocks with different surfaces.
A use method of a flexible tool for fillet weld friction stir welding,
the method comprises the following steps: the two same cushion blocks are connected through bolts on the connecting blocks, after the bolts are fastened, the two cushion blocks are attached, and the surfaces of the two cushion blocks form a workpiece mounting platform;
step two: the fixed block is mounted on the cushion block through a screw and fixed with a machine tool workbench through a bolt to complete the fixation of the flexible tool;
step three: the clamping plate is placed on the surface of the cushion block; an adjusting bolt is screwed into a threaded through hole of the adjusting block, the position of the clamping plate is adjusted through the adjusting bolt, and the adjusting block is mounted on the cushion block through a screw;
step four: the workpiece is placed on the clamping plate, and the position of the clamping plate is adjusted through the screwing depth of the adjusting bolt, so that the workpiece is driven to move along the workpiece mounting platform, and the fillet weld is aligned;
step five: the pressing plate is installed on the cushion block through screws, the bolts are screwed into the threaded through holes of the pressing plate, the bolts are screwed tightly, and clamping of the workpiece is completed.
Preferably, the position of the adjusting cushion block can be clamped by different fillet welds.
Compared with the prior art, the flexible tool for fillet weld friction stir welding and the use method thereof provided by the invention have the advantages that: the flexibility is high, the cost is low, and the clamping of the inside and outside fillet welds of workpieces with different thicknesses can be realized by one set of tool; the friction stir welding of the fillet weld can be directly realized without being converted into plane butt welding, the defects of incomplete penetration, weak connection and the like of a weld joint area are avoided, and the welding quality is improved.
