Abstract
The invention belongs to the technical field of metal material processing, and discloses a strip head straightening method, which is characterized in that strip head straightening is realized through a feeding roller and a steering roller of a rolling mill; the method comprises the following steps: step 1, coiling a steel coil on a mandrel of a coiling machine of a rolling mill; step 2, rotating a mandrel of the coiling machine clockwise, uncoiling and conveying a strip head of the steel coil to the upper part of a steering roller, and lowering a feeding roller to compress the strip head; step 3, rotating the feeding roller anticlockwise, and simultaneously rotating a mandrel of the coiling machine clockwise to drive the uncoiled strip steel to arch upwards; and 4, rotating the mandrel of the coiling machine anticlockwise to drive the uncoiled strip steel to retreat, and adjusting the warping height of the strip steel to 20-40 mm by clamping the strip heads through the feeding roller and the steering roller. The method provided by the invention can realize the straightening threading of the strip head based on the structure of the rolling mill, and does not need additional straightening equipment, thereby simplifying the equipment scale and avoiding the reduction of the production efficiency caused by the straightening equipment.

Technical Field

Background
The single-stand reversible rolling mill uncoiler is used for uncoiling the strip steel along the strip head and feeding the strip steel into a rolling mill for rolling, provides post tension for the first rolling, and is key equipment for ensuring rolling stability. Before the strip head of the steel coil passes through the roll gap of the rolling mill, a specific strip head straightening device is needed to straighten and upwarp the strip head of the strip steel for a certain height, so that the strip head of the strip steel can smoothly pass through the roll gap of the rolling mill, and the strip threading process is completed. step 3, rotating the feeding roller anticlockwise, and simultaneously rotating a mandrel of the coiling machine clockwise to drive the uncoiled strip steel to arch upwards;
and 4, rotating the mandrel of the coiling machine anticlockwise to drive the uncoiled strip steel to retreat, and adjusting the warping height of the strip steel to 20-40 mm by clamping the strip heads through the feeding roller and the steering roller.

In addition, the straightening tape head and the tape threading method are safer, and the potential safety hazard of personnel operation is thoroughly eliminated.
