Abstract

本发明提供一种以环氧树脂为基体的碳纤维预浸料及其制备方法,所述碳纤维预浸料分两步形成:一次预浸料包括强化纤维基体、由环氧树脂、热塑性树脂及固化剂组成的环氧树脂组合物,并将强化纤维层浸入此环氧树脂组合物中;通过热辊法将形成的一次预浸料与含有环氧树脂及溶解于环氧树脂的环氧树脂可溶性热塑性树脂组合物多层压制成型,最终制备得到满足性能要求的预浸料。通过多层压制成型获得的碳纤维预浸料可显著提高树脂基体碳纤维预浸料在耐撞击性及层间韧性方面的性能。

Description

一种碳纤维预浸料及其制备方法
技术领域
本发明专利主要涉及以环氧树脂为基体的碳纤维预浸料及其制备方法,所得的碳纤维预浸料主要用作复合材料的增强。由于其采用多层热辊压制的制作工艺,所得成品可显著提高热固性树脂基体碳纤维预浸料在耐撞击性及层间韧性方面的性能。
背景技术
碳纤维及其复合材料,因其优异的综合性能及高附加值,被人们称作是二十一世纪的“黑色黄金”。在实际应用中,碳纤维常常用作增强纤维,由碳纤维增强的复合材料通常具有高强度、高刚性与轻量化的特性,由此在现代工业中得到广泛利用,如航空航天、汽车、船舶重工以及深海油田等领域。随着全球科技与生产工艺的进步以及应用领域的扩大,对材料性能的要求也越来越高,而以碳纤维为主要增强材料的碳纤维预浸料已经成为当今复合材料增强领域的研究热点。
作为被广泛应用于复合材料纤维增强设计与制造工艺的一类中间材料,碳纤维预浸料就是把基体树脂浸渍在碳纤维中制成片状的叠层材料,是一种纤维与树脂通过相应的层叠方式和工艺制备的未达到固化状态前的产品,是碳纤维制品经常使用的半成品。作为复合材料重要的中间材料,预浸料的性能直接影响到复合材料性能的优劣,因此要求碳纤维预浸料除自身具有优良的粘结性能外还应具有良好的韧性和模量等性能优势。对于复合材料的设计来说,预浸料是具有一定力学性能的结构单元,因此非常有必要对碳纤维预浸料中存在的不足进行改进。
作为树脂的代表,环氧树脂因其良好的物理化学性能、介电性能,变型收缩率小,制品尺寸稳定性好,硬度高,粘着性及悬垂性高成型自由度高,对碱及大部分溶剂稳定等优异的性能成为制备碳纤维预浸料可以优先考虑的基体材料。但是由于树脂通常情况下较热塑性树脂表现为低韧性,因而由其为增强材料制备的复合材料通常情况下耐撞击性都比较低。现行改善复合材料耐撞击性和层间韧性的方法主要是在树脂中溶解可溶于树脂的热塑性树脂,通过热塑性树脂的高韧性来提高复合材料的耐撞击性及层间韧性。
发明内容
本发明的目的是为解决树脂基体碳纤维预浸料耐撞击性及层间韧性较低的问题,提供一种能够制作耐撞击性及层间韧性高的高分子复合材料的预浸料以及其制备方法。
为了解决上述问题并得到满足相应性能的材料,可通过以下技术手段实现:在环氧树脂、热塑性树脂及固化剂构成的树脂组合物中浸入碳纤维层中制备成一次预浸料;将一次预浸料平铺于含有环氧树脂及溶解于环氧树脂的环氧树脂可溶性热塑性树脂薄膜之间,通过热辊法将形成的一次预浸料与含有环氧树脂及溶解于环氧树脂的环氧树脂可溶性热塑性树脂组合物多层压制成型得到最终满足性能要求的预浸料。具体操作如下:
首先,将如下表二中所示的各组成成分通过搅拌机在90℃~100℃下混合40~45分钟,分别制备环氧树脂组合物A和环氧树脂组合物B。将该环氧树脂组合物A和环氧树脂组合物B分别用薄膜涂布机涂布在脱模薄膜上,得到树脂A薄膜和树脂B薄膜。
其次将碳纤维束沿单方向以单位面积质量195g/㎡~205 g/㎡的量均匀排布于两层薄膜A之间,并用辊以11㎏/㎝~13㎏/㎝、125℃~135℃加压及加热,得到一次预浸料。
然后将两层一次预浸料分别置于三层树脂薄膜B之间,并使用辊以2.0㎏/㎝~2.2㎏/㎝、80℃~85℃加压及加热,得到预浸料。
据本发明所获得的碳纤维预浸料具有优异的耐撞击性及高的层间韧性,改善了树脂碳纤维预浸料的性能,提高了以碳纤维为增强中间层材料的复合材料的使用性能。
具体实施方式
下面通过具体实施例,对本发明上述内容进行举例说明,但是下述实施例并不限制本发明范围。

Claims (8)

1.本发明提供一种以环氧树脂为基体的碳纤维预浸料及其制备方法,其特征在于所述碳纤维预浸料包括两部分:一次预浸料包括强化纤维基体、由环氧树脂、热塑性树脂及固化剂组成的环氧树脂组合物(树脂组合物A),并将强化纤维层浸入此环氧树脂组合物中;含有环氧树脂及溶解于环氧树脂的环氧树脂可溶性热塑性树脂组合物(树脂组合物B),通过热辊法将形成的一次预浸料与含有环氧树脂及溶解于环氧树脂的环氧树脂可溶性热塑性树脂组合物(树脂组合物B)多层压制成型得到最终满足性能要求的预浸料。
2.根据权利要求1所述的碳纤维预浸料一次预浸料,其特征在于,一次预浸料包括强化纤维基体、由环氧树脂、热塑性树脂及固化剂组成的环氧树脂组合物,并将强化纤维层浸入此环氧树脂组合物中。
3.根据权利要求1所述,需要将一次预浸料与含有环氧树脂及溶解于环氧树脂的环氧树脂可溶性热塑性树脂组合物(树脂组合物B)多层压制成型。
4.根据权利要求1所述,所述强化纤维为碳纤维,环氧树脂为国产标准双酚A环氧树脂(牌号618),热塑性树脂为尼龙6,固化剂为双氰氨。
5.根据权利要求1所述,树脂组合物A由国产标准双酚A环氧树脂(牌号618)、尼龙6、双氰氨组成,其中环氧树脂占100质量份,尼龙6占60~65质量份,双氰氨占50~60质量份。
6.树脂组合物B由国产标准双酚A环氧树脂(牌号618)、尼龙6组成,其中环氧树脂占100质量份,尼龙6占30~35质量份。
7. 根据权利要求2所述,一次预浸料由树脂组合物A薄膜通过热辊法浸入碳纤维中,其中碳纤维含量为195g/㎡ ~205 g/㎡之间。
8.根据权利要求3所述,一次预浸料与树脂组合薄膜B压制时,以2.0㎏/㎝~2.2㎏/㎝、80℃~85℃加压及加热。
