Abstract

The invention relates to a sodium borate buffer solution for reducing TSNAs in cigarette smoke, which comprises boric acid and borax; wherein the spraying amount of the boric acid is 0.2-0.7% and the spraying amount of the borax is 0.3-1.5% based on the dry weight of the tobacco flakes. The sodium borate buffer solution is sprayed on the surface of a tobacco sheet, and then the tobacco sheet is made into a cigarette; the release amount of TSNAs in the smoke of the prepared cigarette is obviously lower than that of the cigarette sample without applying the sodium borate buffer solution.

Description

Sodium borate buffer solution for reducing TSNAs in cigarette smoke
Technical Field
The invention relates to a sodium borate buffer solution for reducing TSNAs in cigarette smoke.
Background
TSNAs (TSNAs, Tobacco Specific N-Nitrosamines) is a Specific carcinogenic component in Tobacco, has slow metabolism speed in human body, long half-life period and great harm to human health. Thus, TSNAs are included in a list of tobacco harmful components, one of the harmful components in cigarettes that needs to be disclosed and reduced. Currently, people mainly pay attention to the following 4 types: 4- (N-methyl-nitrosamine) -1- (3-pyridyl) -1-butanone (NNK, 4- (N-methyl-N-nitrosamine) -1- (3-pyridol) -1-butanone), N-Nitrosonornicotine (NNN, N ' -nitrosinonornicotine), N-nitrosoneonicotine (NAT, N ' -nitrosoanataine), N-nitrosopseudoequisetine (NAB, N ' -nitrosoanabaseine).
TSNAs are mainly generated in the preparation, alcoholization and processing stages of tobacco, once formed, TSNAs can stably exist in tobacco and can transfer part of TSNAs to cigarette smoke when the tobacco is burnt. In addition, TSNAs are also formed by thermal cracking reactions during the combustion of tobacco. Thus, the TSNAs in the cigarette smoke are derived in part from the direct transfer in tobacco and in part from the thermal cracking reaction of the tobacco combustion process. The thermal cracking reaction in the cigarette combustion process is influenced by the tobacco exogenous additive, and different tobacco additives influence the combustion reaction of tobacco, so that the TSNAs release amount in the cigarette smoke is different. At present, exogenous compounds such as nano materials, catalysts and the like are applied to tobacco leaves to change the combustion state of the tobacco, influence thermal cracking reaction and reduce TSNAs in cigarette smoke, but reports that sodium borate buffer solution is added to the tobacco to reduce TSNAs in the cigarette smoke are not found.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a sodium borate buffer solution for reducing TSNAs in cigarette smoke. The sodium borate buffer is an inorganic salt, and reports on the reduction of specific N-nitrosamine in cigarette smoke are not found. The sodium borate buffer solution comprises boric acid and borax.
In order to reduce the TSNAs content to the maximum extent and effectively ensure the taste of the cigarettes, the invention limits the maximum spraying amount of boric acid to be 0.7 percent of the dry basis weight of the tobacco leaves and the maximum spraying amount of borax to be 1.5 percent of the dry basis weight of the tobacco leaves. Preferably; the sodium borate buffer solution is characterized in that the spraying amount of boric acid is 0.2-0.7% and the spraying amount of borax is 0.3-1.5% based on the dry weight of the tobacco lamina.
The sodium borate buffer solution takes water as a solvent, and contains 2-3.5% of boric acid and 4-5% of borax by weight volume percentage;
preferably, the solvent is water, and the boric acid is 2.2-3.08% and the borax is 4.4-4.6%. The sodium borate buffer solution prepared according to the proportion can effectively reduce TSNAs in smoke, can change the pH value of tobacco raw materials, and has certain capacity of buffering the pH value of tobacco.
In order to further illustrate that the sodium borate buffer solution can effectively reduce TSNAs in cigarette smoke, the invention provides a method for reducing TSNAs in cigarette smoke, which comprises the following specific steps: uniformly spraying the sodium borate buffer solution on the surface of the tobacco flakes;
preferably, the spraying amount of the sodium borate buffer solution is calculated by the dry basis weight of the tobacco flakes, and 10-20 mL of the sodium borate buffer solution is sprayed every 100g of tobacco flakes; preferably 15-20 mL; most preferably, 20mL of the sodium borate buffer solution is sprayed every 100g of tobacco flakes;
optionally, the tobacco flakes are sun-cured tobacco.
After the sodium borate buffer solution is sprayed on the tobacco flakes, in order to enable the tobacco flakes to have good effects, the tobacco flakes are naturally dried in an environment with the temperature of 20-25 ℃ and the relative humidity of 50-70% until the moisture content of tobacco leaves is 10-15%.
Preferably, the tobacco flakes are naturally dried in an environment with the temperature of 22 ℃ and the relative humidity of 60% until the moisture content of the tobacco leaves is 12%;
and then cutting the sheet tobacco into tobacco shreds, and preparing the cigarette.
The invention provides a preferable scheme, and the method specifically comprises the following steps: spraying 15-20 mL of the sodium borate buffer solution per 100g of tobacco flakes, and uniformly spraying the sodium borate buffer solution to the surfaces of the tobacco flakes; and naturally drying the tobacco flakes until the moisture content of the tobacco leaves is 10-15%, and then cutting the tobacco flakes into tobacco shreds to prepare cigarettes.
Preferably, 20mL of the sodium borate buffer solution is sprayed every 100g of tobacco flakes, and the sodium borate buffer solution is uniformly sprayed on the surfaces of the tobacco flakes; then naturally drying the tobacco sheets until the moisture content of the tobacco leaves is 12%, and then cutting the tobacco sheets into tobacco shreds to prepare cigarettes;
more preferably, the sodium borate buffer solution takes water as a solvent and contains 2.2-3.08% of boric acid and 4.4-4.6% of borax in weight-volume ratio.
