Description

Sliding rail assembly
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a slide rail assembly, and more particularly, to a slide rail assembly having a supporting mechanism capable of supporting a slide rail with a supporting strength.
Background
As shown in fig. 1, in a rack system, a slide assembly 100 may be mounted to a first column 108 and a second column 110 of a rack 106 via a first bracket 102 and a second bracket 104. Specifically, the slide assembly 100 generally includes a plurality of slides, such as a first rail 112, a second rail 114, and a third rail 116. Wherein the first rail 112 is mounted to the first column 108 and the second column 110 via the first bracket 102 and the second bracket 104; the third rail 116 is movably mounted between the first rail 112 and the second rail 114; the second rail 114 is generally used for mounting a carrier, such as a chassis (chassis).
In the prior art, in order to accommodate more electronic components or devices, the width of the carrier tends to become wider, and under such a situation, how to prevent the slide rail from occupying the installation space of the carrier becomes a non-negligible issue. One of the current practices is to prevent the first rail 112 from occupying the space for mounting the load by allowing the first rail 112 to be mounted into the space between the first column 108 and the second column 110 through the first bracket 102 and the second bracket 104. However, according to this configuration, a problem inevitably arises in that: when the second rail 114 is at a position relative to the first rail 112, although one segment S1 of the second rail 114 can be supported by the third rail 116, the other segments S2 of the second rail 114 cannot be sufficiently supported. For example, a gap G is formed between the second rail 114 and the first rail 112, so that the other rail segment S2 of the second rail 114 cannot be sufficiently supported.
As shown in fig. 2, when the other rail segment S2 of the second rail 114 cannot be sufficiently supported, if the second rail 114 carries a load, the other rail segment S2 of the second rail 114 may be easily bent or deformed by the weight F of the load, so that the mass of the slide rail assembly 100 is affected.
