Detailed Description
In order to make those skilled in the art better understand the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present specification, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present specification will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present specification, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present specification, and not all the embodiments. All other embodiments that can be derived by one of ordinary skill in the art from the embodiments given herein are intended to be within the scope of protection.
In a system composed of multiple devices, a centralized control platform generally controls and manages the devices uniformly, including the policy of managing the devices in the system, for example, a bandwidth speed-limiting policy is configured for the network devices in the system in the centralized control platform, and after the bandwidth speed-limiting policy is issued to the corresponding network devices and becomes effective, the network devices can limit the flow based on the bandwidth speed-limiting policy.
When the centralized control platform manages the policies of multiple devices, referring to fig. 1, a common management scheme is to configure uniform policies for the devices in the system, and then issue the policies to each device. In this management scheme, since each device in the system needs to share the same policy, if a particular device has a particular policy requirement, it will not support configuring a particular policy for the particular device alone, and thus the particular policy requirement of the device cannot be met, which has a great impact on the use condition of the device in practical application.
Referring to fig. 2, in order to support the configuration of a specific policy for a device individually, another common management scheme is to configure a policy for each device in the system according to policy requirements and send the policy to the device. However, in practical applications, the policy requirements of most devices are basically the same, that is, the same policy can be configured, and thus in this management scheme, configuring the policy of each device one by one will result in a reduction in configuration efficiency. Moreover, each device in the system usually needs to work cooperatively, but in this management scheme, each device has a set of effective strategies, so that the relationships between the effective strategies in each device may be relatively disordered, which is not beneficial for the centralized control platform to adjust the strategies of each device according to the actual application situation.
In view of the above technical problem, the present specification provides a policy management method applied to a centralized control platform for managing policies of devices in a system, and as shown in fig. 3, the method may include the following steps:
s101, correspondingly dividing at least one strategy area according to at least one common strategy which needs to be configured; configuring a common strategy of the strategy area for any divided strategy area;
as described above, in practical applications, policy requirements of most devices in a system are substantially the same, for example, for a certain system including 10 network devices, 5 devices need to configure a bandwidth speed-limiting policy, and another 5 devices need to configure a security management policy, in this case, the same bandwidth speed-limiting policy may be configured and issued for the 5 devices, and the same security management policy may be configured and issued for the 5 devices, but obviously, the policy management manner is complicated.
Therefore, in the solution of the present specification, one or more policy areas are divided correspondingly according to one or more common policies to be configured (i.e., the same policies to be configured for a plurality of devices). For example, in the foregoing case, the bandwidth speed limit policy is a common policy of 5 devices, and the security management policy is a common policy of another 5 devices, that is, 2 common policies, namely, the bandwidth speed limit policy and the security management policy, need to be configured, so that 2 policy regions can be correspondingly divided, and the bandwidth speed limit policy and the security management policy are respectively configured for the 2 policy regions.
S102, for any equipment in the system, dividing the equipment into corresponding strategy areas according to the strategy requirements of the equipment and the shared strategies configured for the strategy areas, and configuring the shared strategies of the strategy areas for the equipment; under the condition that the equipment is determined to need to be configured with a special strategy, configuring the special strategy for the equipment;
it will be appreciated that any device in the system may be divided into one or more policy zones, depending on policy requirements.
For example, there are A, B, C, D, E devices in a system, where the policy requirement of the device A, B, C, D is a bandwidth speed limit policy, and the policy requirement of the device B, C, D, E is a security management policy, and thus 2 policy regions are obtained by dividing according to S101, and 2 policies are configured respectively. In this step, for the device a, since the policy requirement is the bandwidth speed-limiting policy, the device a is classified into 1 corresponding policy region, and a common policy of the policy region, that is, the bandwidth speed-limiting policy, is configured for the device a. For the device B, because the policy requirements are the bandwidth speed-limiting policy and the security management policy, the device B is classified into 2 corresponding policy regions, and the device B is configured with the common policies of the 2 policy regions, that is, the bandwidth speed-limiting policy and the security management policy.
In addition, some devices may need to configure a special policy separately in addition to a common policy of the policy area to which the device belongs, so as to meet the requirement of the special policy, and therefore, in the case that it is determined that a certain device needs to configure the special policy, the solution provided in this specification will also configure the special policy for the device.
S103, for any equipment in the system, the strategy configured for the equipment is sent to the equipment.
After the common strategy and the special strategy are configured for the equipment, the strategy can be issued to the equipment, and after the strategy takes effect in the equipment, the equipment can process the service based on the effective strategies.
In an embodiment of the present disclosure, in a case where the issued policies conflict, the policy that is in effect in the device may be determined according to a preset priority rule when the issued policies conflict. Specifically, this may be determined in a number of ways, exemplified below:
for example, a rule that the priority of the special policy is higher than that of the common policy may be preset, so that when the issued policies conflict, the special policy may be determined to be the policy that takes effect in the device according to the rule.
For another example, a rule with a higher policy priority and a more recent configuration time may be preset, and if there is a conflict in the issued policies, the configuration time of the policy with the conflict is determined first, so that the policy with the latest configuration time is determined to be the policy that is in effect in the device.
For another example, the priority order may be preset, and each priority has a corresponding priority identifier. When configuring the policy, different or the same priority identifiers may be set for different policies according to actual requirements. If the issued policies conflict, the priority order of each policy with conflict is obtained according to the set priority identifier, and for the policies without identifiers, the priority can be regarded as the default priority. Then, according to the obtained priority order, the policy with the highest priority is determined as the policy that takes effect in the device.
In addition, in another specific implementation manner of this embodiment of this specification, a common policy validation switch may be set in advance for each device, when a switch of a certain device is turned on, the common policy issued to the device may be validated, when the switch of a certain device is turned off, the common policy issued to the device may not be validated, and at this time, the priority of the common policy may be equivalent to that of a special policy.
Then, in the case where there is a conflict in the issued policies, the state of the common policy validation switch of the device is first obtained, and in the case where the obtained state is off, it is determined that the special policy is a policy validated in the device.
It should be understood that the above-listed manners for dealing with policy conflict may be used individually or in combination, and the embodiments of the present specification are not limited thereto.
For example, a rule that a particular policy has a higher priority than a common policy may be preset, and if the particular policy conflicts with the common policy, the particular policy may be determined as a policy that is effective in the device according to the rule, but there may also be a conflict between the particular policies due to an error of a manager or the like.
Corresponding to the foregoing method embodiment, an embodiment of this specification further provides a policy management apparatus, where the apparatus is applied to a centralized control platform, and the centralized control platform is used to manage policies of devices in a system, and referring to fig. 4, the apparatus may include:
