Description

Megahertz high-frequency ultrasonic welding device and method thereof
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a welding apparatus and a method thereof, and more particularly, to a megahertz-level high-frequency ultrasonic welding apparatus and a method thereof.
Background
The ultrasonic welding working principle is that ultrasonic energy is transmitted to a welding area through an upper welding piece, and local high temperature can be generated due to the fact that the acoustic resistance of the welding area, namely the interface of two welding areas is large. And because the plastic has poor heat conductivity, the plastic cannot be timely dispersed and gathered in a welding area, so that the contact surfaces of the two plastics are quickly melted, and the two plastics are fused into a whole after a certain pressure is applied. After the ultrasonic wave stops acting, the pressure is kept for a little pressure maintaining time, so that the ultrasonic wave is solidified and formed, a firm molecular chain is formed, the purpose of welding is achieved, the welding strength can be close to the strength of a raw material body, and therefore the ultrasonic welding is widely applied and developed. The key component used in conventional ultrasonic welding techniques is typically a langevin piezoelectric vibrator operating at resonance, typically at a frequency between 20 khz and 60 khz. Because the amplitude needs to be increased through the amplitude transformer, and the shape of a welded part needs to be adapted through the end structure of the vibrator, the key structural parts of the welding device are rod-shaped parts capable of realizing one-dimensional telescopic vibration, so that the equipment is quite large and heavy in structure and cannot be flexibly suitable for certain special occasions.
Under the condition of certain frequency, the higher the amplitude, the larger the ultrasonic action energy is, the traditional ultrasonic vibration welding device depends on the integral modal analysis and design of the vibration elastomer and is limited by the vibrator structure, and the amplitude and the frequency of the ultrasonic vibration welding device are difficult to break through a classical design interval, so that the ultrasonic action energy is limited. Megahertz high frequency ultrasonic vibration is characterized by high frequency and small amplitude, but the overall wave energy can be much greater than that of classical ultrasonic welding vibrators. The piezoelectric vibrator works in a thickness vibration mode, the structural form of the ultrasonic welding device is easy to simplify, and the characteristics of short ultrasonic wavelength, good linearity, strong sound of the piezoelectric vibrator and the like are utilized to realize the rapid welding of thinner plastic parts.
